Just got this because my trusty A51 BRICKED! Good thing I had everything backed up. I really like the fingerprint reader on the thumb instead on the screen. Got a really good armor case for it and it feel rock solid. Looking forward to a good long life with it!

i have the a15.cant hook it up to my TV via hdmi to usdc cable..phone says it's charging the device.tv.device tv hdmi port is controlling usb..on phone.cant change in settings...why.anyone have issues connecting hdmi to usbc cable to tv..

iam a long term samsung user. decided to change to other due to exynos issue since iam a gamer. decided to go with redmi pro 13+.but it became expensive. so came back to samung again and torn between m34 and A15. leaning more towards A15 due to its dimenity 6100+ comared to m34 exynos 1280. hope samsung releases more midrange with other chips

#1, too heavy. Much of what you said is Greek to me LOL. I do agree with the charging. I wasn't thrilled to have such a ton of apps pre loaded, but I'm an old lady & mostly just use phone, messaging and maps.
It as heavy as you think, feels ok. I put this down to plastic back had this been say iPhone pro would be heavier. Surprised me tbo no heavier than say S21FE
if a cell phone is heavy in any way shape or form to you. that says more about you then the phone.
Charging the a14 might be set to adaptive so it slow charges then hurrys up the last 20% depending on how long you leave it on the charger. Not sure if you messed with it yet.
In just my day to day living I have never heard anyone complain about the bezels on their phones. Except tech KZheadrs. Also once you slap an OtterBox (my choice of case) on your phone you literally don't notice them anyway. As long as the viewing experience is good and the battery life is good I am very happy with this phone.
Does Live FM radio work with this phone?
Am a seventy-year-old new Galaxy A15 user. It's been less than two weeks. As a senior, there's always a learning curve on any new device. The user manual is a joke! What's the deal with a C-to-C charger cable? Luckily, I still had a C to USB charger cable from my old phone.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting. The C to C charger is just a new charging style for more effective charging. I don't like it either since it makes most people go out to the store to buy a compatible charger haha. Anyway, thanks for watching!
Thanks for the review ! I was also disappointed that the A15 has 4Gb of ram in 2024. Teardrop notch vs punch hole doesn't bother me. No 25 watt charger included ?? Come on. Like the 4 year OS upgrades and brighter , smaller super amoled screen. On the fence though. Considering Moto g power 5G. 2023.. more ram,(6Gb) more storage , stereo speakers Even though it only has 1 upgrade to Android 14, its always goes on sale(199.99 unlocked). I still have a moto g Play from 2018,lol .Samsung phones never go on sale (unlocked) even when new models are about to come out.
I've been a Motorola girl for the past 3 phones. I'm now looking at Samsung. The Motorola customer service is excellent as I've sent the past 2 phones in for issues. Both were still under warranty. One was either repaired or I received a new one. The second one sent in was refused as they found water, which I'm clueless, phone was NEVER near water. Since I did have problems with 2 phones within the first year, I decided to try the Samsung, so this is part of my research. Thanks so much for this video. You're very thorough.
@@jhohnke I've just looked at the 2024 Motorola G power 5G but now the screen size is 6.7 inch.....not for me ! What's with these phone companies and large displays ? Anyway , i guess I'll stay with the Samsung A25 in the fall. Amazon just had a slight discount on the phone (Discount not from Samsung) I'll wait until the fall to see if Amazon drops the price again ,more than 12% !
This phone comes in 4, 6 and 8gb of Ram. I got the 6gb Version.
I don't like that I don't see in the gallery where you can select specific pictures to share either in text messages or email. Also there is no option to receive voice notifications on who's calling or texting me. I had both those features on my LG stylo 6 which I used all the time. Do you happen to know ifthose options are in the Samsung A15 5G phone?
In the gallery you could maybe select the photos and then click the "Share" button that appears. Then you can select the app you want to share them to
Hmmmmm, you didn't mention, either in your pros or cons opinion, anything regarding the camera system. I know people who do want a budget-type phone with a good camera. I enjoy your reviews a lot and have suggested several phones to friends and family based on your videos.

Overall, this seems like a great device. Would you say all areas of performance are really good? Multitasking, phone calls, texting, etc. I really wish Samsung would have put dual speakers on this phone and given it some form of protection. Both gorllla glass and water/dust resistance. It doesn’t have to be top of the line protection but something.
I would say for a budget phone there are many upgrades here coming from the a14 5g and it works great for budget phone users in all those aspects. Don't expect anything amazing if you are used to flagship or midrange devices. True, I was hoping for that as well.

I just got this phone a few days ago and it's amazing i love it 😍😍
Was at the store yesterday, couldn't help noticing the Galaxy A15 has a yellowish tint on its display, eventhough the eye comfort feature has been unchecked. Comparing it side by side with the A05, the latter didn't have the same prob.
Thank you for saying it's not waterproof. It's an important thing if you live in Ireland where it rains often. My modest Oppo a16s is waterproof and is going strong after 2 years.

This doesn't. Own this and an a54. My a54 gets hot heavy gaming, some light task can also heat it up unlike the a15 5g which I tested with same heavy games (Fortnite, Diablo, Genshin, many others...)
Ok brought today wow just wow what bang for buck…. 4gig ram runs smooth loud sound..iPhone feel to it no lag , refresh rate great … android 14 . Samsung u done good. For this price why buy flagships camera nice photos. 🎉🎉
Is it better than the moto g stylus 5g 2023?
Mine has been freezing up, and at times, you can't restart it or shut it off. Coming from far more expensive phones it's fine but I don't like how thick it is and the size is too short but I knew this going in. I don't like the power button as it seems harder to find than most others at night. The screen capture works, but it was far easier to find and figure out on my previous phones. In the end I am fine with it. The freezing started after the last update, and hopefully, it will get sorted out.

I don't know what phone you have and it keeps freezing up but if it's a Samsung a 155 G model there's something wrong with this device I'm a good smartphone user and I know how to work a phone

A15 let me tell you something. It took me 14 days to program at the way I wanted it after I got a program it has been charging the right way ever since I purchased it from MetroPCS it's a 5G device with a 4GB Ram Ram is everything
The only thing I don't like about it lookimg at the specs is that it doesn't have Gorila glass :/ I wonder if it's a lot easier to break...
Hi guys! I'm looking for a new phone that can replace my Samsung Galaxy A6 but I can't find any that requests my needs. I'd like a Samsung that has a memory of 128 GB that can be expanded or just 256 GB, then it must have a jack for my earphones, a battery of 5000mAh with 25w fast recharge, the dimension around 160 x 77 x 8 mm. The glass protector isn't a must but I wouldn't mind if there was, same for water resistance. I'm not that picky for the camera, a decent one that can take pictures that aren't blurred. Budget 350/400 euros. I'm not into these kind of things so I know I'm asking a lot to all of you but I've been searching for hours without a decent result. I hope you will understand my request and help me.
check a34 or a54 i'm not sure about dimensions.Anyway if you have time wait for new A series for this year,if you not buy the new A series,anyway you will got better price for A34-A54
@@undergroundlifestyle420 a54 dont have headphone jack but has much better and stereo speaker with Atmos. I hate that I can't activate atmos due to 1 speaker on the a15 5g, it makes the my other phone a54 sound much better.

I was going to choose his phone but it was the only phone MetroPCS had in stock. It's been acting up every since the second I purchased it. By maybe they sold me a phone that wasn't compatible for me. I do know one thing I'm taking it back to MetroPCS I pay for insurance I want a different phone for the same cost. It doesn't charge right and the charge doesn't hold. And then I have to recharge. I think something is wrong with the entirely with the samsung A15 5g I got.
I pay for phone insurance. I've never dropped the phone or gotten it wet. I definitely don't bring my device into the bathroom.

I suggest you to get a Motorola they take the best pictures they're good in charging and the charge last forever the Samsung a15 which I just got a month ago. It takes forever to boot up
@@HollyA-yd2bt had a lot of Motorola but my last one was a lemon turn off the phone loose picture movie or apps battery goes to 0 same thing had an upgrade same thing always bought moto G but last year bought a edge 2022 because no moto G 2023 in one year that moto edge was sent to be fix 5 times was so fed up I call my cell provider and yell at them for 40 minutes!! When I get my new phone the edge will become a "clay pigeon"

For the price, it's worth it. Cam and vids are decent. I had a galaxy s22 Ultra, I cracked the screen. Got this phone as a holdover and honestly I could use this phone all the time and not even miss the other one, which was a 1200 dollar phone.

@akeemmissouri4716 You want to save money A15 all the way. The differences aren't great enough to justify the price. The pictures and video are good quality on the A15. Obviously, it's not as good as the S24, but most people wouldn't even notice, IMO.

@@modelotime3608 I own a15 5g & a54. It lags even browsing but don't feel bad, the more expensive a54 also stutters but not as much as this.
I dropped my A14 in the rain. Picked it up, and kept walking. It was a light rain, not a down-poor. Just a minute and a half in a light rain. It was enough to kill it. I had the phone in a shock protection case. So, it wasn't the drop. I tried to start it, and the phone was overheating. It was making a buzzing sound, and it was dead. I was just walking in the grass and dropped the phone, and a person behind me said, "You dropped your phone." I walked back and picked it up. It just had a sprinkling of rain on it, and it was dead. I guess I was lucky. I've used the phone in the rain before, and it got more wet at that time. Okay phone, as long as it does rain where you are. Kind of expensive otherwise.

What I don't like is the on/off button it sits flush with the phone itself ....everything in settings are a little awkward & hard to find what your looking for....I'm old school and use to an older galaxy so my complaints probably dont apply to the computer minded generation

Got one a week ago. Has more than enough of anything I want. Fast as heck, no hang ups, loud, ugly button I didn't find to turn it on... Has updates on all the apps and no problems. I am not a pro... oh you can take like 10 pictures in one second, lots of stuff.

Hi, I currently have the Samsung Galaxy S10e...would this phone be an upgrade from my current phone or am I better off staying with my phone?
The upgrades if you where going to get the a15 5g would be, Software support and security, and new features and bigger display, and bigger battery and faster charging, apart form that the s10e has a better camera, performance, speakers, and a lot more because it was a flagship phone.
I would reccomend to get a better a series like the 50 or 70 series or get another older flagship like the s20 and s21 series.

I don't know about other countries but In Nepal we get free 25 watt Samsung original charger with phone itself and the base variant of this device in Nepal is 6/128 so it's perfect to buy

I had it for a few hours. It lagged and stuttered with just basic use, including Samsung's own apps. It was so bad that I returned it the same day.

I just purchased samsung A15 5g. I hate it. It took myself 2 weeks to program it the way I wanted it. It was supposed to be brand new. It giving me a problem to get a full charge. I wish MetroPCS had what I was looking for. This samsung A15 5g sucks

@nyatzuSneap you know it's too late . I can't a refund through MetroPCS. The entire line of the A series of Samsung sucks. I will never recommend Samsung devices to anyone. I'm stuck with the crappie phone because it's locked.
90hz display on a mid range galaxy. iPhone non pro models are 60hz still and cost several hundred more dollars.
This is not a mid-range lmao... The a54 is bottom barrel mid-ranger, have both phones and both are stutterfest specially on 3d games despite lowest in-game settings and optimizing phone with debloat and everything.

@dainey I have many devices including a15 5g and a54. When I get a device I benchmark it, especially with heavy games so whether you agree or not doesn't change my experience and I'm just sharing mine.

Well illustrated video and highly descriptive but I think you made a mistake there that the Samsung Galaxy A15 gets 4 years of OS updates;it doesn't but A25 and above does
A15 get 4 yrs of os updates and 5 yrs of security patch...
"the gsm unlocked version is worth it" - just get a Canadian one, all Canadian phones by law must be gsm unlocked for free / no additional cost.
I love this phone but the con with mine is the battery life on it is not great . First it only charge up to 85% then stop charging then the battery start to drain all by itself without you doing anything with the phone . Mind you I’m coming from a iPhone that has better battery life to this phone because I wanted to give android another chance , that’s the only thing that I don’t like about this phone is the battery.
The 85% charge thing is a setting you can change! It's just to protect your phones battery

are you from Europe? Why don't you have 8gb ram there? We have that option here in the Philippines and I'm planning to get a15 on the weekends.
Hopefully this helps you out. There are two different versions of this phone. The phone in this review is the United States version. I'm looking into research on this, but I know say like in India and it looks like now you stating Philippines there's a version of this phone that has 8 GB of RAM and I believe you can also get 250 GB of storage, it's pretty much the same phone except for ram and storage and also looking at a KZhead video from someone in India. It may actually have some software advantages.

That's cool unfortunately us in the US only get the 4 GB version not to say I'm extremely surprised with this phone but he gigs and another hundred gigabytes of storage would've been awesome for the consumer.
