True warriors are not valued for their victories, but for the way they overcome their defeats. What a lad!
Rooting for you Bernal! All the best at the tour and in life.
what a miracle that he didnt die
I have very similar (clycling crash) injuries like Egan...🤕 Did recovery very fast quite well... Performance vice, I was after a year, even better as before... I wish him to get back were he was...💪
Every words he said resemble how i feel currently to me as I involve in a crash during race 2 weeks ago and broke my collarbone and ribs. 😢
hope you get better soon. Injuries are the worst :( I can't imagine how tough this must be for you
hope he can someday get back to his best and challenge for the yellow jersey in years to come
Great message..!
gande Egan, un gran corredor mejor persona, cualquier resultado bienvenido siempre le pondra muchas ganas corazon y profesionalismo, ya no tiene que demostrar nada, ya gano mucho.....
Hero!
2023 was a turning point, in the right direction.
Great rider. Probably won’t ever win the tour or be “the best again” though. The tour he won (2019) was the weakest GC field in my lifetime (I’m 41)
* one of the weakest. Cadel Evans/Carlos Sastre 😂
Weakest comment I've ever read and I'm 42
@@DNBMP764 the truth is never weak. Sorry the guy went into a truck, and hope all the best for him. Riding with the best these days isn’t very likely though. One trick pony
@@jonjust7796 That crying laughing emoji should be directed at you. Sastre has stepped on the podium of a GT 6 times, including a win at the Tour. Evans podiumed a GT 5 times, incl. a win at the Tour. Menchov was 3rd, who also podiumed a GT 5 times and won the Giro and the Vuelta. It was one of the strongest GC fields. 2014 was far weaker. It was the sole podium for both Peraud and Pinot. Froome, Contador and Purrito all crashed out.
@@andrasszabo1570 he did bring Lance back from the dead - he called it “a joke”. I’m sure most would agree his victory didn’t take place in a golden age of cycling.
