Walking in the morning at 6am during snow fall in Seattle from downtown to the Space Needle
0:00 Downtown
16:20 Denny Triangle
34:50 Seattle Center/Space Needle
note: I made a mistake when I titled the video if you noticed the time was past 7am. In reality I began recording the walk at Pike Place Market while it was still in the 6 o'clock hour but I decided to cut that out and forgot that when I created the title. So the real video is actually longer. I won't correct the title.. because youtube algorithm and how well this video has performed
it's like walking through a Christmas card, especially at the start
With a homeless man in the background just to give it a little bit of realism.
niceeeeee
@@franzhaas5597 That's Seattle for you. Homeless everywhere.

This can’t be real .. too beautiful to be real 🥰🥰💓
I grew up in Seattle and I get homesick quite often. 🥺
There is something magical about the blue grey atmosphere and the warm yellow lights from stores and coffee shops. I admit, i am weak to cold but just once in my life I'd like to experience this peaceful ambiance.
Это атмосфера прекрасна , умиротворяет, окутывает уютном, завораживает, дарит благодать......❤
As an introvert this is great weather.
The sound of the seagull is so soothing honestly
@@chaplaincadet child... That's Ariana grande 😐
yes...so nice
Seagulls are vermin 🤣
Sky rats
Girrlll i had a place right by the PUGET SPUND, I would sleep with my windows open because those seagulls are super soothing
I love the vibes in the US that makes me feel nostalgic for a life I’ve never experienced. Love & big respect from Japan
We love Japan - from California!
i love the vibes of japan!
I would love to visit Japan! It looks beautiful and the culture is so rich in traditions.
I want to go to Japan and try to find a wife and ski Mt Fuji
There is a youtube channel called "rambalac" who uploads 4K videos exactly like these of walks around Japan, mostly city spaces. I have never been to Japan, but understand exactly what you mean.
"Never stop exploring" on the building at 6:52 is like a message to all of us😉

Lived in Seattle for 35 years and experienced many snow storms. I used to live on the waterfront and walk to my job in the Westlake Office Tower. Walking in Seattle in the snow when everything is quiet and peaceful was always magical to me. Thank you for sharing!!
That’s lovely Gwen. Take care
@@23sleng I love nice people, far too many mean comments these days. Thank you for bringing me hope :)
It’s so cool to be so close to one’s work that one could just walk to work! I definitely value having that in my own life!
The only time everything is peaceful and quiet in Seattle - not really
Any drop of snow falling is a snow storm folks
This makes me nostalgic for Seattle, even though I'm in Seattle
I bet. Used to be nice in the 80s and early 90s.
@@Winterwren2024 yeah it's better now since most of the NIMBYs and bootlickers have left. A lot of the cops quit too, it's awesome

This is so.... dreamy
dreamy until you meet homeless and drug users. Seattle downtown is trash. I don't go to the city anymore
@@Dolly_travels Downtown Seattle is way cleaner and safer than Downtown San Francisco. Your comment is comical.
@@obijuankenobi420 Dont freaking lie. It is dirty, dangerous and nasty. Lots of businesses moving out of downtown.
@@Dolly_travels Have you been to San Francisco? Been here my whole life. Our bad areas make Seattle look like Disneyland.
@@obijuankenobi420 I know there are some really bad areas in US but it doesn't make Seattle better. I traveled quite a lot before covid never saw an European city so bad like some of american cities. It is a shame! Such a rich country with such bad problems. Lots of people from Seattle try to leave the city.
That is absolutely gorgeous! Growing up in New York, I'm used to Christmas looking like this. Now that I've moved to Los Angeles, it's 75 degrees and am wearing shorts. I miss the snow....
Hello Debbie!! How are you doing?? Hope am not being rude for writing you first?
It's been over a decade since NYC has seen snow on Christmas day fyi
I've said it before but these channels are a blessing for us people with little to no opportunities of ever getting to travel outside our countries. Thank you so so much for giving me the chance to see places I would otherwise never get to visit ♥ looks incredibly cold! As someone who lives in a very hot place I feel like I would probably die within the first 5 minutes lol
Well said. It is like you are traveling there.❤
The atmosphere is so beautiful! It's like a whole new world to me, I love the snow and city vibes.
Love the seagulls in the background!
I would probably cry walking through here❤️❤️❤️
I love my city, Seattle!
It's Seattle?
Respect to the person who walked so much in the snow to make this video. Love the vibes!
Absolutely
its seattle...
My family tells me to be thankful I am in LA because we get so much sun…but I love rain and snow! Hope to visit Seattle one day it looks beautiful :)
Used to be.
@@candasmith Still is.
It actually doesn’t snow much here
Seattle is a horrible toilet. The maker of this video has to wait for snow to make it look good. Yes I lived in that hell hole and can say that.

Beautiful, I miss my Seattle.
I love this video and all the sounds including the birds and the footsteps in the snow. It makes it feel like I’m there.
4 months later it was 110 degrees! still love the PNW!
I feel like I'm gonna cry watching this. It's so nostalgic and beautiful.
It is beautiful! I love the crunchy snow sounds. I think its time I start uploading more snowy and Christmas-y sounds like this to my channel. Love this time of year! ☃️
The lights on those trees at the start is absolutely gorgeous
This video is weirdly relaxing and sleep inducing (to me, at least). But also feels like I'm watching a dream in first person.
Sipping a hot drink and watching a dreamy wintry walk❗️✨
❤️☕️
This is SOOOOOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL love winter snow 🌨 like this weather ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊
Hello!!! How are you doing? Hope am not being rude for writing you first???
Wow... the first minute or two of the video...I miss my dad and these Snow Walks through out the city
I like Seattle, in the morning, it’s very calm, quiet, and just peaceful. I also love the snow. It’s relaxing and satisfying.
LETS GO MAN!! ME TOO
Former Seattle resident here: My friends and I loved it on the rare occasions it would snow like this. It didn't take much to effectively shut the city down, so we would revel in the rare snow days we got. I've lived outside of Washington State for about 15 years now, so this was a real treat. Thanks for posting this!
Where did you move to?
@@daniilthegunner843 Who knows! haha.
Just think, this is what Frasier saw every winter! Beautiful.
Nope, not every winter. Seattle only gets this much snow a few times per decade. In many years it doesn't snow at all. Plus most snow melts within 24-48 hours -- and very often it's gone within a few hours.
@@buckyharris9465 Frasier.
@Jimmy L Needham I'm listening.
Living in southeast Texas I will never see this here, but raised in Kentucky (where they actually have seasons!) I remember it well. It wasn’t Christmas to us if it didn’t snow. I’ve lived in Texas since I got out of the military, and I’ve seen some snow but nothing like this. I’d love to move to a more seasonal area, but now I have arthritis and it does not like cold or rain, can’t imagine snow. Sad too because I love it so. Thank you for this. God bless :)
Thank you for this video. I love this kind of sharing! It’s so unusual today to share a natural video without speaking or a filter that alters the pictures. Your video has increased my motivation to pursue my dream and move to the USA to start my new life
Hello!!! How are you doing?? Hope am rude for writing you first?
I'm born and raised in Seattle but I now live north of there in Lynnwood. I occasionally go down to Pike Place Market every month or so but I haven't walked around downtown and the Seattle Center since I was a kid (my first job was at the Fun Forest, then I worked inside the Center House at a couple of shops, then later at the Pacific Science Center so I know the area well!). Thank you for posting this...despite its recent problems with homelessness and drugs, I still think that it's a pretty cool place to be.
Hello!!! How are you doing? Hope am not being rude for writing you first?
One of the best city walks I’ve ever seen
In my office, sitting at my desk, listening to an old French song, not understanding a word. Sipping hot coffee as it scorches outside. Lost in the serene scene, feeling like I'm strolling through a faraway city, my heart full of emotion.
Didn't even know it shows in Seattle I heard it rains mostly but this is beautiful
Wow, 6am, I applaud your efforts. Seattle looks like a more welcoming and friendlier, looks very modern yet traditional a much nicer city than New York. Now I can tell all my friends I've seen Christmas in Seattle.
it*s actually past 7 am,there is street clock somewhere at the beginning of the video-the time is 7-16
Agreed! Besides the drug/homeless issue, Seattle is a pretty nice place! People need to give it the benefit of the doubt.
@@Cheeseoogus_ it is a rough city though
@@michaeltrower741 yeah
I was born and raised in Seattle, though now I live in Cleveland OH. I miss it dearly, there really aren't too many US cities with as much natural beauty, stunning architecture, and art around them like Seattle. San Francsico is another I love. Unfortunately for both cities, homelessness is a huge problem, and they're unafordable unless you work in tech, so artists like myself are forced to leave. I watched a dozen of my artistic friends all have to move away because we just couldn't afford the city anymore
This is so beautiful, with the snow still falling, the uncrowned streets and the lights. Yet it’s so much like the City Centre in England where I live. It goes to show that we can often be oblivious to our own surroundings, when racing from one place to another. 🥰
У вас ошибка в слове " безлюдной ". 😊
Hello Ann!!! How are you doing? Hope am not being rude for writing you first?
where in England ? I've been to the biggest cities in England and only London is comparable
You picked the perfect time for the walk with the fresh snow ❄️ and two hours before people start work. In a few hours thousands of people and cars will mess up the perfect newly fallen snow! Good job timing your snow walk 👍
I never realized how much I love the sound of walking in the snow. Seattle looks like such a nice city.
lol (If you dare, conduct a quick research on Seattle for the past 2.5 years.)
Hell no 😂
Until you have to do it everyday at 6inches.
I lived in Seattle for the last 2 years it was always cold at the same time the nature is rich and pristine, I loved the walks in the park, all kinds of birds flying in flocks. We just moved to Colorado Springs a week ago it opposites in terms of humidity , sun and the altitude of majestic mountains still beautiful environment. Both states are gorgeous, and the drive to Colorado was spectacular and mesmerizing OMG the full moon, the snow and the solitude , the mountains dressed in white shining bright. The best road trip of my life. We moved out between storms due to roads conditions still the passes was icy, Slippery dangerous. We had mechanical issues but so far still safe and happy.
We needed to know that. thx
Envy you that drive. Good luck in Colorado!
I know this took alot of time and work, so I pray you recieved a beautiful blessing for your labor.
When you don't need to go out to work, snow is a blessing!!! Love the winter vibe and I can not wait to start snowing here in Zürich like the last winter. Thanks for filming this!!
LOL The last Winter in Zürich? really?

Hello!! How are you doing? Hope am not being rude for writing you first?
Wonderful ambience on the snowy morning streets.
Seattle is incredible when it’s sunny and when it snows - when it’s raining most of the year I love it too.
I love this! I grew in LA so, winter is never really winter. But this is insane, I’ve been to Seattle and I’d legit move there. Thanks for the vid.
Like a Winter Dream! Thank you.
I lived in Seattle in early 2000s and across Westlake mall was The Bon Marché Building and I lived near the Westin Hotel and was so close to shopping. The Nordstrom has marble womens bathrooms its so much fun. In the opposite direction was the Town Square with a multitude of clubs and you would be able to buy a band to get into all the clubs. I miss the metropolis of Seattle❣
The snow is very beautiful. But you should realize that Seattle rarely gets this much snow. Having lived here 31 years, I'd say we get a snowfall like this just a few times per decade. More often than not, winter goes by with no more than a few flurries, if that. And the summers keep getting hotter . . . .
A few flurries? That's what we get in Maine in late September through Halloween! 😂
@@OldHeathen1963 flurries, but also a LOT of ice. Seattle has many steep hills, and even a few inches of snow on top of compacted ice can shut the place down. It'll melt a bit during the day, then hard freeze again overnight into treacherous terrain.
Lived in belltown for years loved getting up in the mornings and walking in the snow thanks for the video!!!
I f you live in Bell town Do not go buy coffee ,Sandwiches at the City Foods Market (5th Ave and Vine St the guy that own that market is an ass with his workers.

I’ve always loved walking around downtown Seattle when I was a kid. Before Seahawks games we would always hang out on the marina and then walk to the Kingdome. By the way...thank you for not speaking during the trek. I hate when people narrate their walk.

It looks so lovely. Where I live, we hardly ever get any snow. I live in England, and if it snowed that much in my town, the entire town would close for at least wo weeks. Transport, schools, leisure, everything. The council would run out of grit and it would be on the news.
Seattle has the same climate as England
Love this video. I used to wake up and watch it nearly every morning when I was living in Texas and didn’t have the money to move up there. It’s so peaceful. Despite all the troubles Seattle is going through I still love that city.
As someone who has lived in Seattle for a bit and walked these same streets countless times, it's totally surreal watching this in snow since I left before fall.
Just came back from Seattle. Walked to the Space Needle down 6th Ave, all over Belltown and Capital Hill. Cool to see with snow.
Wow this is SO beautiful. I adore the seasons and love snow but we don’t get it that often anymore where I live in the UK. Shame. This makes me long for it 👏🏻🇬🇧
This is so lovely! I was amazed how bright it is, I'm only used to Finnish winter where it's just months of darkness.

WOW! Thank you for taking me places I have never been and will probably never have the opportunity to visit. This is wonderful for watching with morning coffee or while on a treadmill. It seems so real, like really walking there. My feet are cold from crunching through all that snow. :) ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS!
