Today’s expedition leads us to a mysterious abandoned villa nestled in Belgium, its unsettling past looming over every corner.
A Mercedes van of the former residents who lived here, now draped in moss, is still standing in front of their house.
Mr. Roger, once a rumored adult film star, crafted a life here with his wife and daughter, but shadows lurked beneath the surface.
Whispers of illicit dealings stirred the air, culminating in a police raid in late 2016, leaving remnants of crime-scene tape etched on the doors and windows, sealing the fate of this eerie abode.
Since that fateful event, this peculiar villa surrendered to silence. Its kitschy interior, adorned with oddities like a giant gorilla doll perched on a chair, presents an inexplicable tableau.

I remember this house, I already moved another urban exploration of it in my "particular backstories" playlist. Its backstory is way more seedy than the other residences shock full of stashed p***rn material I stumbled upon... Apparently, the owner was a male widow. Unable to cope with the loss of his wife, he took refuge in s***x addiction. It degenerated to the point he had to satiate his appetite in more risky ways, by inviting over women at the place. He impressed them by flaunting his wealth, promising them wonders. The boatload of alcohol he kept in reserve must have helped a great deal to break down their defense, as well. He installed a hidden cam and proceeded to film his bed shenanigans without their authorization. Upon discovering it, the police jailed him for a couple of months. Now that his reputation is destroyed, he left this gaudy Mock Tudor house to rot away... I believe even his video collection is still on site. I'll check later if this hilarious king size gorilla plushie is still lounging in the living room. Harambe is watching you, so behave ;)

Wij zijn hier ook geweest vanuit Maastricht 1,5uur gereden. Maar helaas waarschijnlijk zit er een nieuwe eigenaar in. Aan het huis word namelijk gewerkt.
Leuk om te lezen dat er nog meer urbexers zijn uit Maastricht (ik namelijk ook😜). Het bezoek dateert uit Juni 2022. Jammer dat jullie voor niets zijn gereden, maar in ieder geval positief dat het pand een nieuw bestemmingsplan lijkt te gaan krijgen.

As for the lawn equipment, there's actually a separate garden house where those items were probably stored. Unfortunately, we couldn't explore it fully due to some nosey neighbors. What a curious house! I love the rural Belgian setting. The villa itself is pretty kitsch and not my personal taste (the gorilla and duck are funny but again not my taste hahahah) but the story and fading glory of what must have been a family home is so interesting. Thanks Explomo.

Absolutely, it's sad to see the state some of these places are in. Abandoned properties like this are often unprotected and can attract unwanted attention from burglars. It's a shame when people take advantage of these spaces instead of appreciating their history and beauty.

Hola Maureno y Remon, nuevamente por acá disfrutando de esta exploración en Bélgica. Asusta saber que esa casa fue intervenida el algún momento por la policía y el motivo seguirá siendo un misterio. Pero por el contenido podemos decir que fue el hogar de una familia que disfrutaba de múltiples aficiones. La arquitectura de la casa, es un poco caótica, demasiados salones y comedores, pero quiero destacar el salón principal por la altura del cielo, su escalera y la baranda de fierro que pienso la da un toque de elegancia, me gustó. En el interior aún es posible encontrar objetos muy finos como jarrones, cristalería y vajilla de porcelana, mis favoritas de los abandonos. La decoración no fue de mi gusto, tampoco los revestimientos cerámicos del baño, por esos colores rojos o anaranjados tan fuertes que he visto en otras casas de Bélgica y seguramente se usaron mucho en alguna época, pienso que por los años 90. Estresa ver tanto desorden y acumulación de objetos, pero eso también nos enseña que lo mejor es elegir el estilo minimalista, mientras menos mejor 😊 Muchos cariños para ambos y hasta la próxima. 🙋♀️ 👍👏😘🤗
Hello hey there dear Maureno from fabulous team Explomo. - That is a truly fascinating explore in this abandoned Belgian villa. - Well yes, I thought the same like you when watching, what might have been the reason, that police was raiding this house and taking the inhabitants to prison. In what kind of criminal activities were they involved? Who knows?! - And of course it is a pity and a great shame, if this property is just left abandoned and decaying away to pieces! - Looking at the interior they must have been quite rich people with a rather questionable taste. "Kitsch" was your statement, dear Maureno, and I can only agree. But nevertheless there were still some really very beautiful items, like the large cabinets with these surprisingly neat collections of porcellaine figurines in pristine condition, and of course also the beautiful collections of chinaware and glassware. Anyways the grand living room has its own charme with the carpets, the furniture and the very decorative chandeliers. - On the other hand it was kinda sad to see the rather heavily messed up rooms, although there too were so many unexpected random items visible, which you were pointing out with your camera. By the way excellent camerawork, bro! You really have a good eye for remarkable details! Respect, my friend! Thank you so much for this very fascinating explore. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Scott. It's certainly a mysterious situation. We're not entirely sure about the details behind the rifles, but it's possible they were overlooked during the police raid or not the goal of the raid.
I did enjoy this mysterious explanation as I became a detective of sorts. I went back and forth stopping and rewatching parts. I especially zoomed in on as many photos as I could. I think the pictures at 35:31 showed Roger not long before he started the Porn industry. His father and mother were a very beautiful couple. The father served in WW11. It appeared he stopped that career In his late 30's. Another picture of him in his late 20s shows him with the blonde lady he did marry later on. You said about that photo it was of happier times. He got married when he was in his early 40's according to a picture of the wedding. He was in the porn business in about 1974 leaving about 1994 and married his old girlfriend in about 1 to 2 yrs and maybe had a child born around 1995 to 1997. The daughter would have been 18 to 20 when the raid happened. He would have been 61 to around 62. I do think the house was in renovation and had 2 living areas. I don't recall a refrigerator in the first kitchen. The one in the second one had one and it was cleaned up. He had that area where his old tapes were kept. The mask you thought was Elvis was Wayne Newton. Makes me wonder who caused the raid and how many are in Prison. The guns were missed because of how this many rooms were arranged. Even people going g have missed them. The ones stealing. Thank you Maureno 😊 💓

Crime scene tape but still entered? 31:00 in i heard a child’s voice with other people in the background…very creepy. You kept saying they’re probably in prison but provide no additional information…Hard to believe that the entire family was imprisoned.Thats a lot of memories to be just left behind without some other family member.. Looks like black mold on the walls above the staircase. Looks like millions of dollars worth of art and antiques left behind..so strange
