  • I honestly never thought I'd enjoy a regular guest as much as I enjoy AR on Tuesdays, but I'll be damned -- I really love these JJ Watt Wednesdays. And Saban on Thursdays is getting better and better each week as Saban gets more comfortable and familiar with Pat and the boys. This show was awesome when I discovered it years ago and its still getting better and better. Hell yea.

    @vrettos99@vrettos996 ай бұрын
  • As a Houstonian, I'll be real. The issue isn't Houston vs. Tennessee with regards to those uniforms. The issue is Houston vs. the Adams Family. When Bud Adams moved the team to Houston, he basically spurned the city because they couldn't give him what he wanted. It wasn't like Bud was a popular owner in Houston and at that time, the Rockets had won two NBA titles while the Astros were beginning a 90's run of three straight NL Central titles and four in five years. So the Oilers were the third popular team then. Adams moved the franchise and Houston was left for five seasons without an NFL team. The McNairs came in and rather than request that they be called the Oilers, decided to go with the Texans. When you think about the Oilers, you think about great players like Earl Campbell, Dan Pastorini, Warren Moon, and Robert Brazille even they not once set foot in Nashville. But you also think about the heartbreak because they are among the most snakebitten of franchises having not made the Super Bowl. When you think of the Texans, you think about a new era and an identity that the team has tried to figure out for some time. Great players like JJ, Andre Johnson, and DeMeco Ryans come to mind at first. At this point, the Texans are Houston's NFL team and with what's happening now, fans should embrace that. This leaves me to hope of seeing a potential AFC Championship matchup between the Texans and the Titans in Houston. A battle of something old vs. something new.

  • Is there a single oil derrick in Tennessee. FSU pulled an ugly uni out this year. Unnecessary when they have one of the best in the game.

  • I think one of the strangest things in society is the build up of athletes/celebrities' which I get in terms of you support the team JJ is one of the greatest, the stories etc. but even shown here, were all the same, we all hate kids bday parties (the parents) and the jokes, the banter, the teasing of each other etc. and its funny to me how anyone meets a celeb/athlete its all fan fomo instead of just treating the person like a person..... 1. You could gain a friend 2. youll get coolers stories if you treat them like a person then a fan.... but just seems odd to me..... The boys have done a good job going from regular dudes to chatting with pros and celebs and treating people like normal people...

  • The Titans own the Oilers trademarks and if nowhere on these throwback uniforms it says Houston on them there is absolutely nothing wrong with the Titans wearing these throwbacks. The Texans don't own the Oilers trademarks so no Texans supporter should get upset about this.

  • Teams relocating from one city to another should be enough to get people to stop supporting billionaires and their franchises. None of these owners are loyal to a city. They just want to get out of paying for a stadium by using tax payer money. Professional sports attracts dumb loyal people when there is absolutely no connection to the professional team other than they reside in your city. Why do people get so attached to teams they don't own or play for? It's lunacy.
