Friendship.., Mutual Respect (personal & professional).., Admiration for each other’s craft..; the list goes on... And, don't even get me started on the depth, but levity, artisanship expertise and experience they both brought to the table. Again, 'Well done Variety!' 💯⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👏👏👏

  • One of the main reasons I love the ‘Actors On Actors’ series is not because it reveals what’s behind the curtain, but rather highlights what great actors bring to us and to the art of acting; the meaning and impact it can have on us. Sometimes a reflection of the zeitgeist , sometimes something that can shape thinking and feeling on practically anything. Great acting has social utility. These two folks are a perfect example of this. And talk about DEDICATION to their art. Just fantastic. Thank you to them, and the producers of this series. 🙏

Yes, part of the charm of these interviews is unique unexpected pairings, but that also often makes it super formal, and imo sometimes full of just very polite small-talk and the sort of adult disingenuous business conversation, where ppl are overly flattering always and sort of superficially nice. Maybe thats crude to say but i think we all recognise that. Here they’re obviously relaxed and chill with each other and have really entertaining chemistry, not everyone’s cup of tea i understand but still very interesting to see.

  • Emma Stone might just be the only Hollywoof female stars whose career never got me bored. She always picked interesting projects first no matter how cheesy or weird it can look from the outside. Love her since The House Bunny and I can say that unapogetically cus she made it amazing.

  • This was a JOY to watch (and rewatch). Two great artists at their peak, in real convo about their craft. Thank you for these, Variety🖤

  • This is hands down one of the best Actors on Actors we have seen. It's always so lovely to see such talents talk about each others works, but even better when you get to sit and watch two friends do it. Just perfection!

  • One of the most incredible magical interviews. the banter between them, the honesty in communication. So free. How they both directed it in a way. So many moments! It's therapeutic.

  • This is absolutely amazing!! The way Emma and Bradley were so connected...they way they would finish eachother's jokes. That's what happens when your friends for a very long time. Very entertaining! Now, the best part of this video is how well Bradley expressed himself about the experience of the role. How it made him feel. The surrounding experience on set. I understand how sometimes you have to let go of yourself and morph into this "Persona" in order to completely delivery the story. This interview will be by far one of the best I've seen yet. Thank you @variety

  • Such an interesting insight into both films. After watching RDJ and Mark Ruffalo now this and the different and similar approaches on their outstanding performances. Gorgeous to watch! I was glued to the screen from the moment Bradley Cooper talked about the mishap with the Berlin Philharmonic and the guidance from the late Mr. Bernstein. Thank you for bringing this to us!
