Spider-Man PS4-Better story, suits, and boss fights. Arguably better stealth. Miles Morales-Better Combat, swinging, and arguably better stealth.
Yes;But Miles Morales Doesn't Have One disadvantage than spider man 2018 had Like You have To play Others Characters Such as *Mj,Miles Which Were Long And Felt Boring
I’m not sure why you said “arguably better stealth” twice but Miles Morales does have better stealth. They improved on it in almost every way by adding his camouflage ability, wall takedowns, ceiling and repel takedowns, as well as new animations. The same can be said about the combat and swinging, everything feels smoother. For example, the transition animations when doing tricks while swinging, the addition of venom dash and venom jump to gain speed and height, and the overall speed feels faster after doing dives, etc.
Flying Lions Not nearly as many web gadgets for stealth takedowns in Miles. But Miles had more animations and positions.

The draw distance for Miles Morales is nuts. Not so obvious because you're swinging all the time, but if you just stop at a high point, you can really see the difference.
Not true sadly. Pop in the original spiderman to compare from a high tower. You will be surprised.
I wouldn't have noticed otherwise. Spiderman (2018) has better draw distance as it seems

The story of both games were so epic. Miles's was a more emotional and epic one while Peter's was very serious and epic too.

yeah peter probably did that already so he just needs to go as fast as he can from A to B. It's like in the Into the spiderverse movie where every spiderman has his own swinging style, and the difference between MIles and Peter is exactly like the ps4 version...Functionality (peter) vs style (miles).
He's only 23 in his game lol the devs were being lazy. Spiderman the original, was always flashy. Ps4 version is like a old man spiderman. They could've did wayyyyy better with petes swinging and tricks.

In my childhood i never was interested in new spider man's. I was just staying in Peter Parker vibes. But fr, when i kinda grew up, Miles Morales took my attention. Not only because of his powers or his web swinging styles. But dude, the cotumes, the urban/brooklyn vibe, even more animations...It was just the project that every single kid should see. Also i love the fact that a lot of rappers spend their time on making tracks for Spider Man Into The Spider Verse. Like Lil Wayne (on feat with XXXTENTACION). Jah is my fav rapper so far. RIP to this man. Peace.

Thing is I like the tense feeling of Spider-Man’s swings, miles swings seem a bit bland and tens less to me. I also would like them to dial down the tricks just a bit

Spiderman miles morales isn't about spiderman so the sequel is called Spiderman 2
@Subbort Do you even Think before you Speak 😂😂 Lord give him some Brain. Miles morales was more of an Expandable DLC like Uncharted lost legacy was to Uncharted 4. The story is nowhere near over. *SPIDERMAN 2 IS IN DEVELOPMENT* exclusively for Ps5 and it will introduce more marvel characters like Venom , and maybe somebody from the Avengers.

Both games are pretty much the same. The only REAL difference is the story, the other differences are simply superficial. Marvel's Spider-Man has a way better story than Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The only thing that makes the first game's story a little boring is the parts where you have to play with MJ and Miles (Without his powers). The first game has better suits and better boss battles. The second one appear to have better graphics, though I like more the first game's hot filter.
Its insane what Insomniac was able to adjust in such a short time. Suit damage, observing objects, crimes and missions, combat, swinging. Spider Man 2 is gonna be bananas
meanwhile Bethesda doesnt even put out a game in less than 10yrs lol, and their net worth is 10 times that of Insomniac.

@@mayorebfarnum8114 Yeah, that's because Bethesda's games are far more in-depth, have worlds with much more detail, and have much more replay value than Insomniac's games. Skyrim is still played to this day, while Spiderman 2018 and Ratchet & Clank 2016 are not.

I’ve been playing the remastered Spider-Man and miles morales on ps5 running both in performance rtx and comparing them both, peters swinging feels way more powerful and he swings faster than miles. Miles’ swinging feels smoother and more flashy and you can chain air tricks into his swinging so seamlessly. Also I just recently noticed peters charged jump is 1.5 times higher than miles’. Very nice details to include based on their age difference and current strength.
I was thinking this too. Im playing the first one again after finishing miles morales and felt like I covered distance faster with Peter but I thought I was trippin

@@wall-ball-bill8347 trust me if you’re on the ps5 or pc, boot one up after playing and testing the other out. You’ll notice Peter swings and jumps higher and further.

@@wall-ball-bill8347 only if you’re using venom powers to dash, his swinging is smoother and more stylish, but it isn’t powerful enough to send him flying through the city as fast. There are videos comparing their in game speed. Running speed on the ground and on walls is pretty much the same but swing speed and jump height goes to Peter due to age and strength. It was a small but realistic touch by the dev team.

Just finished Miles Morales for the 2nd time. Enjoyed it so much I’ve gone back to replay Spider-Man which I only completed once. Both fantastic games. Coming back to Spider-Man I do find that Parker is a bit heavier when it comes to the swinging. But other than that I’m pretty happy! On a side note: Stupid new Chrysler building owners! 😣😣😣 Really missed it!

Since you played both , would you say there is a graphical difference between the spider man remastered and miles Morales?
@@kellanh4417 I guess this video shows the best comparisons really. The City itself looks much crisper with a longer draw distance. The facial animations improved as well. There’s no shocking difference though. Bear in mind I played both on PS4. PS5 runs them on 60fps! Stunning!

Just prefer peters size and animations. And warmer colors. Miles is a cool character though.
One of the main reasons I like the second game more is the music. It has the best music in a video game in my opinion.
These games remind me of gta 4 vs gta 5. Both good. Both different vibes. Love it
You know, that is a very interesting way to look at it. Every GTA game feels different but the contrast (literately) between GTA 4 and 5 is very apparent.
I like Miles better, especially his uncle, reminds me of my own.
Played both games on my wife's PS4. SM: Miles Morales convinced me to get my own PS4. Got a PS4 Pro, upgraded the hard drive to a SSD, and am about to start my second playthrough of both today. So excited! 😂 *EDIT:* Ended up getting a PS5 at MSRP about a week after making this post. So I've been playing Spider-Man PS4, the Remastered version, and have been loving it! Eager to get to Miles Morales again, as that is my favorite one. 👍🏾

Honestly, the cool wintery lighting DOES NOT do the city justice. I hate when games' lighting is too warm and yellow, but Miles Morales has the opposite problem to the point where it's annoying to even look at... MM needs a little more particles / fog and distortion. It just feels overly sharp and feels like it lacks overall depth and somehow manages to make the city feel... Emptier in a weird way. Also, Miles' suit isn't as appealing here visually, but that's a minor thing and not any kind of real issue.

There should def be a setting where u can do more air tricks and other swinging stuff. They should also do it like the arkham games where u dont run out of gadgets, bc if u do u have to defeat someone to regain them back.

Miles isn't as experienced as Peter is and he seems to be scared of heights as Peter said in his 2018 game: "When i gained my powers i was 15, and i needed to improve my fear of heights". He was 15, the same age Miles has in this game... o is he 16? idc, u get the point.

I have played both games, but if I am completely honest miles just gave me better experience and overall but the story prob goes to the original one. The swinging goes to miles and the graphics. I honestly recommend miles over the original one.

Probably because blue is a cooler color which reflects winter better

It's all about graphics concept. Miles Morales have better graphics but it's winter time where SM is in normal season.
A few people talk about Miles swinging is better, but I would say that Peter probably had that same swinging when he was younger and throughout being Spiderman he just learned whats more efficient when swinging. Also Spiderman is overall more experienced when it comes to being Spiderman, but what Peter lacks in bio-electricity he makes up for in raw strength and experience

I like the web swinging in original much better.In original it feels like am swinging and I also feel the weight while swinging but it totally opposite in miles,it seems much faster and light weighted.
You can see how miles walks with the exaggerated swagger of a black teen.
Love the Spiderman world of New York. It feels more alive. They have lost the charm in miles Morales.

There’s no controversy because he doesn’t walk different due to his race, he walks different because of his age and personality. It’s to differentiate Miles from Peter. The same can be said about their swinging and combat styles, they’re different because they’re two separate people. It wouldn’t make sense to make them move exactly the same.

First time playing Spider-Man remastered on ps5 since the 2018 launch bought it for 30 dollars. Which makes sense thats digitally of course.

I really liked both, I just finally played miles morales and really enjoyed it. I got platinum in both games. Overall though I like the original more because it's longer and has more awesome boss fights.

Miles Morales es un DLC sin pena ni gracia y Marvel's Spider-Man es el que volvió a darle un gran videojuego a la franquicia. En algunas ocasiones se ve mejor que Miles Morales habiendo salido 3 años antes prácticamente
