Almost left that's how annoying the beginning was
Just got the One UI 6.1 on my S22 Ultra, yay for Samsung. Tried the object eraser with a picture that has a bag of cat food in the corner, AI didn't know how to render the corner right so it replaced the cat food with a flowerpot with two cactuses, lol. The cactuses fits perfect in the picture.
That's hilarious you can remove the AI watermark with AI lmao

my guess is it'll reapply the watermark again once it's saved, since it's just another AI edit, unless it's really a hack.
But still saves it to the server.
I suspected that was the case since the object eraser is so great lol. Hopefully Samsung doesn't prevent that with an update

In the photo editor, you can circle the entire image if you want to pinch out and reframe. It might get a bit fussy on the odd corner so you might have to move them back into place.

hi tech with benefit, when you turn on the toggle to process everything on the phone. that means i can translate large amount of text on notes with the on device gemini nano? can you give it a try?

Hi, great video. I just got the s24 ultra because of the live talk and text feature. I was able to enable the text translate while using WhatsApp. Unfortunately I haven't had any success with translating voice text or phone calls while using WhatsApp. Do you or anyone else know if those features are currently available?

It'll work with either. It just requires a connection to the Internet.

How did you manage to get the small pill as the navigation bar that seems to float over contents instead of generating unnecessary white space? I’m concerned about not being able to hide the nav bar in 6.1 but hoping this might solve the issue.
That's done in good lock! You can make it much smaller in there but not disappear completely

Got the S24 plus. I love these features, but the AI wallpaper doesn't allow you to save them. You Only get 15 and then they erase the earliest one. You can get around this with a screenshot and object eraser, bit it can be a little time consuming. And although some truly great wallpapers can be created, the options are limited, I'm hoping future updates add more options. You can only make so many wallpapers with robots or t-rexes before they feel repetitive.
How to get previous browser as I have chrom. I have downloaded samsung browser but there is no button of AI at all 😢
7:35 Writing assists is lovely, but the Samsung keyboard is not the best when it comes to typing, and Bixby isn't the best for voice typing. I would love this to be available in other keyboard
I think the servers store info but doesnt require wifi but maybe data...the AI not being used by servers but on the phone itself probably uses your data connection or may not need an ouside connection
The only cloud ones I know of are the wallpaper and Generative Edit in the gallery. Everything else is processed on the device. I'm pretty sure
I’m trying to decide between the 24 ultra or plus. I always had Samsung notes for years but never used the s-pen, but it’s always there if I need it. Would you recommend the plus over the ultra this year with the improvements?
Myself personally I will always choose the Ultra. But this year's plus is certainly exciting with a higher res screen and bigger battery. Just depends if you are chasing the more sophisticated camera system or not!

Will bixby text call work with live call translation because when some call your phone you cant understand what the call is said .I want to know to you get a transcript of what the caller said
Bixby text call is still separate, but they have built transcription into live translate anyway so it operates the same!
in the long run , will the s24 get all features of s24 ultra ?
does the translation only works on samsung keyboard? what about gboard? when will facebook messager be available for transaltion?
Samsung keyboard for now. It works with WhatsApp which is owned by meta so naturally it could make its way to Facebook Messenger but it's not supported now
Sir in consideration of battery degration after 2+ years how will you keep your(Samsung S24Ultra) fast wrt battery... ??!? Please provide me a solution for long term use....to tackle battery related problems....!!!!
I wish some of these features worked with the Gboard / Chrome..? I very much prefer them over the Samsung keyboard / browser

Great video, as always, thank you for the indepth explanation. People are making the hint of a possible pay wall in 2025 too much of a concern. I think all the AI services that run from the phone's chip will remain free, but some of the AI services that are cloud based from google might go under the google one pay wall. Google already does that with services like magic eraser which is avaliable for pixel phones but to get it on Samsung you need a google one upgrade i.e when you pay a little amount to increase you google drive space. Things like circle to search will be free cos google lense has always been free and google will make more money by increasing the ease or searching. I'm not sure the possible 2025 is something to be too concerned about. I will enjoy my phone when it arrives.

How can I voice translate if I am traveling
1) Does the circle to search feature works in any social media apps like Twitter, Insta, Fb, & Gallery app? 2) Does the website page summary feature works in any web browser? 3) Does the live text translation feature works with fb messenger app?
Hey mate. 1) Circle to Search works on anything! It's not app dependent at all 2) the website summary only works in Samsung Internet 3) Not currently supported in Facebook Messenger but it is in WhatsApp

I do actually have a review of the Watch6 Classic (samsungs best smartwatch) but as i don't own any apple products, I wouldn't be able to compare the experience of the Apple Watch Ultra unfortunately!
Do we know anything about how many or if all of these are coming to s23? I'm on the fence idk if I should upgrade from my s20 ultra (cracked screen :(. ) to the s24u or save some money going s23u. At the same time.. The 2nd hand s23u market is wildd there are soo many fakes :/

11:10 little bit scary knowing we are basically giving Samsung full permission to listen to our convos. Does anyone know if it is always listening even if you aren't using the translation feature?
You can choose to process AI features on device, meaning it won't process any information in the cloud
Can you record a voice memo that it turns into a text and summary?
Absolutely! I demo it towards the end of the video!

Hey mate, I'm not too bothered yet if they switch on a subscription for AI. I imagine on device AI will stay free, but some cloud based stuff might need a subscription. Depending on how good it is, will determine if I'd be willing to pay for it, lol
I'd say, depending on your country you live in, trade in is a good option. Otherwise ebay or Facebook marketplace
The funny thing is that the selling point for this updated S23 will be available for everybody in 3 months :) Just after Samsung gets their scam money and put a major update in late April or early May.
@ 6:47 I wish they would’ve mentioned this feature only works android to android or maybe Samsung to Samsung… I tried sending a test text to my iPhone and it doesn’t translate.
It's not just samsung to samsung though? It is processed on the phone and then sends the translated version through to the other person
@techwithbenefits Then what could be the reason as to why it's not translating? Have you tried sending a message to an iPhone and it showed the original and translated words? I just tied it again and it definitely will not translate when sending a message to an iPhone.
@deey132 you have to set the target language to the one you want the other person to see then enter the text in the box that appears. You type in your language and then it enters it onto the message field as the translated version. When you receive a message back, it'll display for you only the translated version
@@techwithbenefits I truly truly appreciate you taking the time out to respond to me! I tried it and that’s a workaround for now. Hopefully when RCS comes to iPhone, it will show my language and the one I want translated so I/we can see both languages in the message thread.

Since S17 Or S18 all of them were there already... And ADD the delete photo in the 3 dots if your S17 or S18 were not updated that time. Just play and discover your cellphone. I'm not good BUT these are no brainer. It's been in S17 to S23 ....99%
All of the features you explained are not AI. All of them already in Old Samsung S-Galaxies or Notes. I was waiting I thought you are going to show how to use the Screensaver AS A background when you use TELEPROMPTER but I was WRONG... Samsung just changed HOW to use the features In different ways. Since S17 I had all the CIRCLE TO FIND... It was screenshot BEFORE then popped-out the VISIT WEB in the bottom middle of the HOME button. SAME result but different WAY TO FIND. and for deleting the watermark, JUST Crop it then it is GONE. OH My!

If it goes that way there are definitely features I will want to keep. The summarise and auto format in Samsung Notes is a genuine game changer for me. But we don't know what it looks like yet and it's at still just under 2 years away. Lot can happen between now and then

I am deaf can't hear I want a function in Galaxy AI so it can transcribe the what other person is saying on call I can speak but here is no function like that if I use call assistance it mutes my mic So I am disappointed in Samsung
