@@thegreatoutdoors3990 Hello It's nice that you give feedback that what I did works for you. Yeh. Yes, there is a wide selection of oils to use. In my work, I have tried to find the best price-quality ratio. There are also better oils, but their prices are also quite high. So my choice is: as the first or impregnation oil, what I do in the bath, I use "Teak Oil". It is quite a liquid oil, fills all the cracks and soaks in well. I use "Danish Oil" as the second oil. It's a thicker oil and you can't apply it in the bath, so I do it with a cloth. Greetings to Scotland from Estonia.

Ive watched almost all your vids I think, I really enjoy your style ! What a brilliant idea to level the legs! Is that a circular saw with the guard removed and mounted 90 degrees?

Hi Kevin. Yes you are absolutely right, it is a standard circular saw attached to a height-adjustable lever. Easy solution and really very convenient to use.

Здравствуйте Сергей. Спасибо за добрые пожелания. Делаю мебель из белой ольхи. Во вступительном видео я объясню, почему этот тип дерева. Главное, чтобы штифты сидели друг в друге в мягком дереве, так они более постоянны, но причин больше.

Hola, amigo. Me alegra que hayas encontrado algo útil en mis videos. Puse "Aceite de teca" en la manguera, lo puse dos veces. Pongo "Danish Oil" en la capa superior, no se puede aplicar con manguera, lo hago con un paño. Buena suerte a usted en su trabajo!

Привет Степан. Да, наверное из видео не очень понятно, но я приложил ватерпас к дрели, под нужным углом. Это не очень точно, но это и не нужно. Кроме того, у меня ноги выфрезерованы немного эксцентрично, так что можнa немного отрегулировать угол поворачивая ноги. Здорово, что мои видео не надоедают при втором просмотре :)

@@udoaas2466 нравится дерево, корнепластика, собираю коряжки, ветки) тоже немного делаю штуки, смотрю ваши ролики-здОрово, чётко, выверено, инструмент, техника-всё на месте, красивые вещи получаются. Вот сделал тут эльфийский трон из коряжек, для дома, для семьи, жене теперь делаю.)

Thanks Dwight. The glue is SOUDAL "PRO 45P". It is a polyurethane adhesive, expands when it hardens and is weather resistant.

If you have found something useful in them, of course use it, it would only make me feel good that some of the designs and solutions I came up with will not disappear with me. I don't know about the US, but Europe is currently in an economic depression and people are only buying essentials. Handcrafted furniture is not essential, so I really don't know what the future holds. Fortunately, I'm at an age where financial well-being means little.

Отличное видео. На этом и на предыдущих вы делаете шипы на ножках стульев одним способом, на самодельном станке с фрезером. Какой диаметр шипа используете? На всех ваших стульях и табуретках он одинаков? (3:00 - 3:15)

Привет Яша. Да, я обычно делаю шипы одного размера. Шаг делаю, как видно на видео, тоньше 30 мм. и толще 50 мм. Как раз тот размер, при котором внешний вид остается массивным, но не становится слишком тяжелым.

Спасибо. Клею полиуретан клеем Про 45 р. Этот клей хорошо заполняет все щели в дюбеле. Этим же клеем я заполняю трещины.

Спасибо за подсказку. Хочу сделать табурет из валежника дуба . Наверно будет очень тяжёлый . И трещин много думал чем их заделать.

@@viktorsuboch1130 Да, полиуретановый клей хорош для заполнения трещин. Но после нанесения клея на трещину необходимо наклеить на нее малярный скотч. А если есть большие трещины, то поверхность клея остается шероховатой. Затем, после первого промасливания, наношу на поверхность клея смесь масла и древесной пыли.

This is Soudal "PRO 45-P". It is a polyurethane glue that expands when it hardens. Other companies also make such polyurethane adhesives. As far as I know Gorilla doesn't make this kind of glue.

@@udoaas2466 do you use that only for crack filling? Or for glue ups as well? I’ve been using regular titebond III for my glue ups but I’m working with a piece of black walnut that has some large checking in it and this could be an option for filling. thank you!

@@DrewCreate Yes, I also use this glue to glue all the joints. As this glue expands, it fills all the gaps in the joints. This is necessary for outdoor furniture, otherwise rainwater collects in these gaps and the wood begins to rot. It is convenient to fill cracks with this glue, but there must be a way to sand off the excess glue. If it is more than about 7mm. cracks, then I also add wood dust to the glue. But the surface of the glue still remains rough, so I treat the full glued cracks after the first oiling with a mixture of oil and wood dust.

@@vitekkoroto3462 Да, между шлифовками я увлажняю деревянную поверхность, чтобы отслоившиеся древесные волокна приподнялись. Я добавляю краситель в воду, чтобы было легче увидеть, где она уже отшлифована, а где еще нет.

Я хочу спросить у Вас, чем Вы поливаете со шланга готовые изделия в ванне? Какие породы дерева используете для ваших изделий? Снимаете ли Вы кору с веток и жердей перед сушкой в естественных условиях? БЛАГО ДАРЮ ВАМ И ВАШЕМУ РОДУ. Всегда жду Ваших новых выпусков.

Спасибо Владимир. Тебе тоже удачи. Я использую "Teak Oil" из шланга в ванне, его основной компонент - льняное масло, добавлен растворитель, поэтому это масло достаточно жидкое для пропитки. Я использую «Danish Oil» для покрытия, это более густое масло, и я наношу его тряпкой. Я использую ольху белую. В мягкой древесине деревянные соединения, подобные тому, которое я делаю, хорошо подходят друг к другу. Кору с дерева снимаю сразу после спила, тогда она снимается легче всего. Делаю это весной, тогда кора открыта. Срубленные весной деревья больше расщепляются, но расщелины заполняются клеем. Однако снимать кору с поваленных зимой деревьев было бы настолько трудоемко, что эта работа уже не окупалась бы. Желаю успехов в работе с деревом!

Thanks Dwight. The glue is SOUDAL "PRO 45P". It is a polyurethane adhesive, expands when it hardens and is weather resistant.
@@udoaas2466 Thanks Udo, I'll have to admit, your joinery , technique and style are not common here in the U.S. I have watched every video several times, and I can see why you have been in business supporting your family for so long, If I get started here in the southern U.S. I shall use some of your designs, if you dont mind, they are timeless and super strong. @@dwightmccormic5745 Thanks Dwight for this comment. It can be felt that you have thoroughly watched my videos. If you have found something useful in them, of course use it, it would only make me feel good that some of the designs and solutions I came up with will not disappear with me. I don't know about the US, but Europe is currently in an economic depression and people are only buying essentials. Handcrafted furniture is not essential, so I really don't know what the future holds. Fortunately, I'm at an age where financial well-being means little.

Привет Яша. Да, я обычно делаю шипы одного размера. Шаг делаю, как видно на видео, тоньше 30 мм. и толще 50 мм. Как раз тот размер, при котором внешний вид остается массивным, но не становится слишком тяжелым.
Просто красота, внук тоже помогает? Я до рустика ещё не добрался. Виндзор делаю. Рустик ещё тяжелее делать.
Пройдет некоторое время, прежде чем он станет помощником. На данный момент он в основном инструктирует меня по изготовлению мебели.

Спасибо. Клею полиуретан клеем Про 45 р. Этот клей хорошо заполняет все щели в дюбеле. Этим же клеем я заполняю трещины.
Спасибо за подсказку. Хочу сделать табурет из валежника дуба . Наверно будет очень тяжёлый . И трещин много думал чем их заделать.
@@viktorsuboch1130 Да, полиуретановый клей хорош для заполнения трещин. Но после нанесения клея на трещину необходимо наклеить на нее малярный скотч. А если есть большие трещины, то поверхность клея остается шероховатой. Затем, после первого промасливания, наношу на поверхность клея смесь масла и древесной пыли.
А вы можете показать, как сделан станок которым ножки обреаете?

What is it that you put in the cracks? Gorilla glue?
This is Soudal "PRO 45-P". It is a polyurethane glue that expands when it hardens. Other companies also make such polyurethane adhesives. As far as I know Gorilla doesn't make this kind of glue.
@@udoaas2466 do you use that only for crack filling? Or for glue ups as well? I’ve been using regular titebond III for my glue ups but I’m working with a piece of black walnut that has some large checking in it and this could be an option for filling. thank you!
@@DrewCreate Yes, I also use this glue to glue all the joints. As this glue expands, it fills all the gaps in the joints. This is necessary for outdoor furniture, otherwise rainwater collects in these gaps and the wood begins to rot. It is convenient to fill cracks with this glue, but there must be a way to sand off the excess glue. If it is more than about 7mm. cracks, then I also add wood dust to the glue. But the surface of the glue still remains rough, so I treat the full glued cracks after the first oiling with a mixture of oil and wood dust.

Да, с маслом, я использую «Teak Oil», последний слой я наношу вручную «Danish Oil».

@@vitekkoroto3462 Да, между шлифовками я увлажняю деревянную поверхность, чтобы отслоившиеся древесные волокна приподнялись. Я добавляю краситель в воду, чтобы было легче увидеть, где она уже отшлифована, а где еще нет.

Я тоже пытаюсь делать изделия из массива дерева в рустикальном стиле, и осенью 2022 года изготовил свой первый диван, из лиственицы и вертикальную вешалку из целой ветки дикой вишни для верхней одежды. Я хочу спросить у Вас, чем Вы поливаете со шланга готовые изделия в ванне? Какие породы дерева используете для ваших изделий? Снимаете ли Вы кору с веток и жердей перед сушкой в естественных условиях? БЛАГО ДАРЮ ВАМ И ВАШЕМУ РОДУ. Всегда жду Ваших новых выпусков.
Спасибо Владимир. Тебе тоже удачи. Я использую "Teak Oil" из шланга в ванне, его основной компонент - льняное масло, добавлен растворитель, поэтому это масло достаточно жидкое для пропитки. Я использую «Danish Oil» для покрытия, это более густое масло, и я наношу его тряпкой. Я использую ольху белую. В мягкой древесине деревянные соединения, подобные тому, которое я делаю, хорошо подходят друг к другу. Кору с дерева снимаю сразу после спила, тогда она снимается легче всего. Делаю это весной, тогда кора открыта. Срубленные весной деревья больше расщепляются, но расщелины заполняются клеем. Однако снимать кору с поваленных зимой деревьев было бы настолько трудоемко, что эта работа уже не окупалась бы. Желаю успехов в работе с деревом!
