I was there! Lord have mercy! The anointing was thick and palpable, resting on the entire church. My GOD!! What an absolute blessing it was to finally witness Cece Winans and her team live in worship and in-p.erson. Glory, Hallelujah!!!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

I pray God would anoint her afresh…. I know she can sing and she can perform like no one else. I pray the message of the song will find its way deep deep into the hearts and souls of all who hear the song. Do a deeper work in me Lord. Mary Magdalene recognised and anointed Jesus before that she washed his feet with her tears and dried them with her hair. All this is symbolic of the cost of serving Jesus Christ. What a picture of humble service. This woman was a woman of ill repute, and not someone to be seen around the town with in those days. The back story of this song reminds us that many will follow the crowd, sing the right songs, say the right words, but what are we prepared to give to our Saviour?
