It's really weird why Funcom deletes QOL functions that have no bearing on the updates. It makes no sense to remove things like precision split stack - it was working fine!
It’s like a punishment, removing something that was so convenient and a massive time-saver. And now holding shift does nothing, so it’s not like they wanted that key for something else. Totally unacceptable.
@@namelessjedi2242 yes, it's like sadistic! giving something only so you can take it away, to cause maximum frustration. Every update they do this. Or they add something that's so bad, then take months to fix it.
Also getting into the hyena boss was a pain
They made the icons smaller yet there’s lots of wasted space all around. Makes no sense. The sorting doesn’t take, awful if you are a little OCD. No more custom splitting holding shift key, literally just removed. That was so useful and handy and a time saver. Why???
The war paint even works on golems.

@@OwDoGaming-kx9joThey only seem to happen around the middle point of the night cycle for me, and only one ever spawns per night cycle.
When I said 2 days I meant IRL. Loads of cycles and still got sweet f a 🤬
@@OwDoGaming-kx9joStrange, did you talk to the NPC at the event hub and accidentally turn them off or something? Even if you didn't, perhaps talking to the NPC to turn them off and back on could fix your issue?

Lots of grr funcom on this update, however over all (since we already got precision split back) a lot of good came out of it. Great video. (except the siptah piece in the exiled guide seemed odd) thans for the video.
Great guide video. Some of the changes are ok. It's taking time to get used to. I'll do the scared hunt eventually.

Nice guide Angaar! i just tested and found a Tavern arrival called Xil the Wanderer who gives you the ability to craft Lure (corrupted). Has to do with the Sacred Hunt.

I do like some of the changes, but there are stuff like spliting and the dyer's bench (make it smaller) that feels like a setback. Also getting my team of bearer's nerfed to 25% is really bad IMO. But all in all good new content, and sure alot of the not so smart things will be pached back to "normal" .. or I hope. :-) thank you for the vid Angaar
They nerfed them? I hadn’t noticed on mine, do you know what exactly it affected? I would like check my bearer now lol

Another great video! Thanks! I like the new UI but the icons are a little small, and I was having a hard time using things in my thrall’s inventory because I’m on console with controller and it’s not really as easy as moving the cursor over the item, it’s definitely going to take some getting use to

The event is kinda fun. It's a shame it's been marred by the asinine UX/QoL "improvements" they made. I really hope they just revert most of the changes and increase the UI size and font readability. Custom sort, precise splitting, and the ability to right click to eat, drink, open bags/boxes of items, and equip armour all needs to be reinstated. The xp cap on the BP needs to be removed. The only part of the UX changes I thought was good was moving the thrall AI control to the inventory, but it's in a broken and buggy state so that needs fixing too. They've also made it so Redeemed Legion gear can't be repaired at benches...I hope that's a bug.
I bet nobody of the developers plays the game on PC. It's the only way I can explain the UI changes.
They’ve basically ruined it. And there’s no reason or excuse. Beyond belief, the decisions this team makes every update. Please guys, stop tinkering with random things that aren’t broken!

Just to address the mammoth in the room... what has any of that to do with "Age of War"??? The seemingly random changes, they kind of seem very random... good, bad, half backed (all included). The hunt is nice, but I see no context why the prolonged this age for it. The "Age of War" felt quite hollow, but given this mighty titel... they should have seen that coming! They should have done one or two ages as a preparation or ramp up (like an "Age of Prosperity" and/or "Age of Conflict"). Set the stage, hype up the players and then go into full blown WAR. To plunder into that, after such a well made "Age of Sorcery", is just baffling to me! Btw, I've done the survey and wrote that in too. But if you wanna get useful information out of a survey, you need to ask the right questions. Asking how one would rate the quality of the bazar items is just wrong. I think the quality was never the issue here...

A named Alchemist will give you some paints at least it did before this update, I haven't checkex
T4 Alchemist still gives the recipe for Black/White dye. Tested this morning, moving my main base.
Hey brother keep checking your tavern, a Hunter showed up in mine and taught me “Lure Corruption” no idea what it does yet, he was wearing medium dragon armor

Also looks like some of the benches have more storage now.
They have over written the guranteed armorer 1 spawn camp (both of the thralls) on noob river with an effigy to Jebbel Sahg and single NPC who talks about marks in the flesh of prey. I think that is supposed to be refering to the "maps" we get off the ambushers.

On Siptah they covered a boss spawn in the ruins with a new raid camp
I decided to start afresh the first thing I noticed was the lack of being able to hit branched with a hatchet and not getting multiple branches (Boo!) Then when I tried to hold shift and separate stacks of stone etc. that doesn't exist either (Boo!)by the time I get to a reasonable level, I'll be full of Boos.....
Precise split is coming back in the patch next week
Removing the precision split literally makes zero sense. Another cool thing they changed about followers is that they are instantly at full health if you have that perk that grants them +20 to all attributes where before they would need to "heal" up to their new higher health when following you.
Just read on the Dev Tracker that Den has said the precise split will be added back in in the next mid-April patch! 🤘😎🤘
3njoying the videos ma fellow scot. My only issue is I'm on xbox... its so dead man. Needing to get myself a pc I think.
i found the only to get those particular challenges to work properly was in the unnamed city. dragons and the red mother. not a fan of the excessive grind
I noticed a similar issue, I actually had to farm the croc boss both by noob river and up by the Savannah I believe, it didn’t count any in the unnamed city except the one skull with the relic hunters as a demonic animal
From what I understand, you can get the final boss as a pet. Just an idea for your next tips and tricks video.
Removing precision stack was foolish and unnecessary. What's with them hobbling functionality we're long-since gotten used to in these last 2 chapters!?

Weirdly enough I don’t have any problem with the game other than the lag and hopefully they bring back the old system where u could’ve equip the werewolves attack via spawning an npc as pet and steal the ability from them. I’m not sure how many of yall knew this cause u could’ve literally become a werewolf.

I saw that the gathering is changed as well. The axe on branches doesn't do anything. you can only pick them up one at a time. I don't know if the other gathering has changed. I hope not. Are these changes usually permanent?

Have you had a chance to fight any accursed or cimmerian after the live update? I cant do any real damage to them, I lost T3 accursed thralls trying to in the process. All other damage (undead/animal) was normal. My truncheon did normal work of them, but actual damage was 98% non-existent. Just curious if you have tried damage on either faction. Cheers

The Zingaran mercenary armor, level 1 battle pass item uses the heavy armor recipe but is medium armor. Not a fan of this update in general.
Looks like we won't need a tanner or Tannery any more open a chest and you find heaps of padding now even mobs are dropping 10+ padding. Is Funcom trying to drive their players away with all these dumb changes.

Maybe I'm OCD but not being able to arrange MY inventory the way I want is really pissing me off, it's a jumbled mess, no order. I sometimes fall through the floor opening chests now. I can't get the Sacred Hunt to spawn werehyenas at night on both maps, been trying since the update. Logging on after an update is just damage control at this point. Pass on the battle pass for the first time since The Age of Sorcery. (You make the best guides on YT bar none) Rant over. Lol
You can still set the Inventory to "No Sorting" to set it yourself, the problem is that if you set it to anything different it wont go back unless you manually do it again 😟

Is there a way to stop the game from resetting the screen resolution to default? It is rather annoying to have to go into the video settings and fix it every time I boot the game and change it back to where I can actually see the full screen instead of have a rather sizeable portion of the ui sitting off the edges of the screen.
Not seen that issue before. Maybe try to Verify your Local Game Files in Steam?
Asked this on another channel aswell but cant figure out why there enemies wont spawn for me at night? The event are active, ive been to the area and talked to the NPC's. I turned off some mods, not even using lots of mods. Just quality of life mods, anyone have a clue why i wont get attacked at night?
So it appears they wont spawn in and around your base locations and at various POIs, only in the open world part of the map. I have also heard of people accidently selecting the Leave the Option option from the NPC at hub location
You wouldn't happen to know how many times you can get attacked by werehyena's at night? Is it just the 1?
It is just once. I tested it with different night speed multipliers and it was always just 1.
Angaar quick question....did they nerf hitpoints of your "friends"? I logged on my siptah map and my named bearer is lv 20 and had almost 4000lp. Today she only has 2100.
Bearers have been nerfed, yes.
Bearers have taken a big nerf. I believe they want them to be more the intended carriers than high hp fighter tanks 😞

Love most of it, but I did have a moan about some stuff (like the precision split and farming branches with hatchet)

Great guide, but that is no surprise. It's going to be very difficult to get the fatality to work with a "friend", unless you make them passive before you attack. Hope your week is going well.

@@AngaarUK For me, it's the last step in thrall taker. Just won't except that I have put a crafter in the bench.
So post update, when you check server activity to find out who raided you, it says "another player" well ya don't say! It surely wasn't me! And it no longer tells you how you were killed or by whom. I've looked in the settings briefly to see if I can change anything however I'm not the admin. So far it sucks 🤷

As soon as I was no longer able to put my items in my inventory the way I wanted, it was crystal clear. this game is no longer worth the Hard disk space. Edit: Why do they change how the game functions on a fundamental level, where there was no problems, why do they keep making the game unrecognizable... Yea I stand by my first statement, this is no longer the game I bought 9 months ago. time to make more space on my Hard Drive.

So many silly changes this patch but i really like the Battlepass. The ability to cheese stuff was so brutal. How people thought it made sense to use admin panel to cheat the battle pass is beyond me. Im honestly shocked it took so long for them to fix this. Its really simple, play the game and get your rewards. Admin Panel = cheating (Outside of testing and content creation). IDK maybe im just old. lol.
