The most Spursy thing would be to drop enough points to stay out of the top 4, but beat City to hand Arsenal the title 😂
They've already dropped enough points. There is no way Spurs will win all their games with Villa dropping many.
🤣
@@adrimute I think he already knows that part, just the conclusion to the statement is hypothetical.
I’m am standing here laughing 😆 as I read this and the scenario plays in my head 🤍
No. Spurs are that weak, they'd probably deliberately choose to throw the game just to spite us.
Just because Spurs looks like the hardest game, doesn't mean it will play out like that. Quite often the banana skin is when you least expect it. Fulham could pull a surprise, Everton could score a late out of the blue equalizer. Basically anything can happen & often it is the games everybody thinks matter most that aren't the impactful ones.
You're stating the obvious.

Gotta respect it not matter what happens they have been a step up from last season. As a Liverpool fan I never want to see Man United win the league again, but our own success matters more to us than their success. I would prefer to see us win first than them lose. The latter would just be a bonus.
Why do all Liverpool fans start comments with "as a liverpool fan"?
You mean city?
Because Redknapp is suggesting that Spurs fans won't want to see Arsenal win the league? Spurs fans should be focussed on Spurs improving and winning something first before worrying about that Arsenal does
Was that a typo 'United' or are you behind about 2 decades?
Goal difference only matters if Man City draw a game, so they'd have to score 6 more goals than Arsenal over 2 games. They'd have to win by at least 4 goals in both and hope Arsenal only win their games by a goal. It's not happening.
Realistically arsenal are smashing Everton so gd won't matter. Also it could be similar in the United game if they get ahead early otherwise it might be difficult
Yeah you could tell they went heard for goals today and they wound up gaining a measly one. Kind of funny to see them lose that race but probably won’t matter
United are a very weird team. No structure easy to play through but they have the capability to score out of nowhere. Very dirty and unorthodox squad, I don’t wanna play them in gw 37 at old trafford in a run in

People say anything about United, but you really would back Arsenal to beat them considering their away record, current form, and demolition of Spurs and Chelsea. Most likely Arsenal win their 2 games - their goal difference most likely still above. It just takes one draw from City, be it a final day shock or a Son equaliser when City are playing a fixture they have lost the last 4 times
Keep on praying
It would be a Spursy thing if they got something out of the city game 😂😅😊
Exactly a draw is win for arsenal😂😂
Jamie 'state the obvious' Redknapp
Man's a fool.
We are not moving from phase sports to politics. Arsenal fans behind Spurs and City fans behind United. This will be fun to see who comes on top.
People are forgetting Man Utd will have one eye on the fa cup final a week after the Arsenal game. Would the players want to risk getting injured/banned for a meaningless game against Arsenal?
When looking at goal difference here, it’s important to remember it’s not important who ends with a higher goal difference. It’s important who ends with a higher goal difference IF the teams are level on points. This means we have to assume City draw 1 match and win their next 2. We also assume Arsenal with both of their games. This means City have to overturn a 6 difference in 2 games and even worst case scenario for Arsenal if they win by 1 in both matches, City would need to win both matches by 4. Then you consider Arsenal are able to win a match by 2 or 3 and City are going to have to win 5-0 and 5-0. It’s probably a touch too far

the players wont be thinking like that lol. who in that spurs squad is a local boy? players play for trophies, for contract renewal, transfer deals etc. its a job at the end of the day and if you're not a local boy i dont think they care if arsenal or city wins the league.
Doesn't matter as United will do one over on Arsenal at Old Trafford, as they did twice to Liverpool (neutral fan). Even if it's a draw.
This season is difficult as GUARDIOLA never replaced GUNDOGAN, MAHAREZ and LAPORTE. RODRI is alone in that midfield zone and the team is allowing too many goals. Poor defending.

I was hoping the 'player's integrity' part would be about the problem of cheating in football i.e. blocking runs/keepers, surrounding referees, constant diving, hanging a leg, feigning serious injury, timewasting and more. The margins are so fine in football that the teams who do these things better than other teams win. Professional cheating is one of the main reasons you win football matches and it shouldn't be like that.
Is Arsenal and Spurs rivals through maybe postcode rivals...
I fear for UTD, of course that team always lift themselves for big games (Like liverpool), however, this Arsenal team (in the prem anyway) especially away from home, are honestly the best team in the league. They don’t even play with emotions anymore, they’re professional killers. They play like they’re going out to destroy you, it’s not even a contest, they just go out and competely dismantle you from front to back and are so aggressive that you’re not just playing football, you’re in for a fight for 90 mins… if Palace walked through this Utd defence, what do you think the Premier Leagues top scorers are going to do to UTD? If Arsenal score first, this is going to be a bloodbath 🔥🔥

I would agree with Rednapp on any team actually trying in the city>spurs situation if it wasn't for the time when i was on trials with spurs as a young boy...the club pulled me up one day and ask me to stop wearing my teams kit for future training sessions...(Arsenal)...it's in the clubs chip on the shoulder mentality I'm afraid.

There's only problem with appealing to integrity: It's not something Tottenham possess. They were explained before the 2nd leg between Bayern and Arsenal why they SHOULD want Arsenal to win. They already knew why a few days earlier they SHOULD want Villa to lose against Arsenal. Both times they - at al levels, club and a polled majoriy of fans - said they wanted Arsenal to lose before, and celebrated Arsenal losing. And because of both results they will not be playing in the Champions League next season. In any given season, Tottenham would happily surrender a Champions League qualification to deny Arsenal a league title. If City only draw against Fulham, the only thing preventing Tottenham scoring 20 own goals on purpose against City to swing the goal difference would be the threat of punishment by the FA. They'd have no reservations about doing it otherwise.
Doing such a thing would be career suicide for all players on the pitch though. It's just not happening. They might not turn up, but even playing 80%, the other team will easily get goals in a full game.
Spurs fans yes, most know that the club isn’t ready for the champions league and would prefer to not see the clubs noses rubbed in by Arsenal winning it….. The same energy which came from Arsenal fans when Spurs were in the champions league final a few season back. Where are the statements or polls from the other levels at the club (eg club personnel?) Where is your source? I think you’re making this up and trying to make it some big thing about the integrity of Spurs football club, Just so you have someone to blame if both Arsenal & city win all their games and City win the title. If you want to find a moment where blame lies in this scenario, you should have beat Villa at home. Losing at home to City is not an uncommon thing in this league for ANY TEAM. Stop looking for some bigger co conspiracy theory to pre-emptively console yourself should things not go your way.

It's a nice idea, but the players are not the fans. Spurs will go out to win. Also, United fans want City to win it, not Arsenal.
The real question is will arsenal gonna drop points when they play against united?
Why are they manufacturing a title race ? It was over when Arsenal lost to Villa - NO WAY will City not win the league - it seems to me they’ve got everyone behind them - officials , the league - everyone . The goal difference will be cut - today was courtesy of 2 , count em, 2 penalties- and not for the 1st time it appears to me they’ve been gifted results - Liverpool and Arsenal are being used to keep the league ‘honest’ in my view .
