I've read multiples times that had Pesci not gone into show business he may have actually ended up connected or made himself. He grew up with a lot of those guys, and was well liked and respected by everyone who knew him.

It's about the Italian Camorra in Naples and not the American Italian mob, but I've seen him react to scenes from Yakuza games before. So it would be interesting to hear his take on the series and the differences between the Italian and American Mafia. Because the series gets a lot of praise for the realism. Most events from season 1 are actually based on events from the real world.
