Seriously, this happened on my first playthrough YEARS ago. Burd fell into the same exact spot, and I tried for like 20 minutes to get him out, but he just kept dying, so I had to clear the entire gate myself. Afterwards, and forever, he was wearing some sort of green pajamas, or clothes, with his greatsword on his back and I had no idea why. Then I realized it was because the Lava completely destroyed his armor, so he auto equipped the next best thing!! xD

I remember being around 14 when I let my lil' brother play Oblivion. he NEVER got rid of his rusted hand axe and dremora churl mace, and NEVER bought hammers so they were constantly 20% hp. he made it until level 26 somehow this way!! anyways, looking at him play, i noticed in some areas it said "Jauffre is unconscious" and sometimes, "Brother Martin is unconscious", but not always. as it turns out, he lost them inside a lava sea in a random oblivion gate, at some point in the game. long after, they just came running towards him out of nowhere. Oblivion is a masterpiece because of things like this XD i imagine them both drowning in lava like Burd, endlessly until they eventually found an oblivion gate to exit hahahahaaha

This is a brilliant metaphor for death. Death is a certainty from which none of us can escape ("I don't think we're going to make it out of here alive"). While some of our loved ones have already moved on (Burd), those of us who remain are sliding slowly towards our demise with every passing second. We may look to others and cry in pain ("BRRGRWAAAH"), but the universe and time are uncaring and indifferent; eventually our bodies will simply give out.

- God Fieri there’s a bug in fallout 4 where if you go into this one sewer near taffington boathouse and leave with interacting with the advanced locked terminal in it it will eventually make all guns and laser weapons stop doing damage. It even affects previous saves

Burd fell in the lava the first time I played the game. I watched him do that same routine for five minutes, and thought I was going to have to start the game over. Then Burd randomly shows up later unscathed on the other side of the island so I could finish the mission.

Burd was only falling unconscious, so the guards figured it was just a really sweet hot-spring. They hoped that it would alleviate the fears of not getting out of oblivion alive. They were right, unfortunately for them.
