He played in just 9 episodes of GoT but he's still one of the most recognizable characters.
Funny enough, i didnt want to watch the show, cos all of the hype and stuff. But started to watch it eventually, cos of Bean, probably a lot of people did it for the same reason, especially fantasy fans. So yeah, those corporate fuckers knew what they were doing when they casted him.
That says something about him and his acting. Love Sean Bean! ❤️

Oh my God.
I’m so sad we never got a scene between Dance’s Tywin Lannister and Bean’s Ned Stark.
They're both great actors. Character wise, Ned was so out of his depth, he couldn't understand how Tywin operated.
God those two would have had the most intellectual and riveting conversation and it could all be metaphors and oh it would have been great
I woulda loved that. Dance was probably my favourite part of game of thrones.
Better than that would've been Robert vs tyvin

Fun fact, he actually yelled “Baelor” because Arya was standing on the statue of baelor. He was telling his friend to look at the statue of Baelor without alerting the guards
Yeah he was telling Yorin not Baelor, since Baelor is an old Targaryen King and Arya was hiding on his statue. But obviously I forgive Seas for mistaking the two 😅

Sean Bean is simultaneously the softest and hardest man in the room.
That's what his wife said
He is, and hates Bastards
He’d punch you in the mouth then help you back up to your feet
I've always said something similar about Michael Madsen: his smile is both heartwarming and terrifying.
He had very big Dad energy. Just look at the scenes between Ned and Arya in season 1.
I wish Sean bean would do the audiobooks for Game of Thrones.
That is the best idea I've heard all year.

This except where every chapter is narrated by their respective actors.

I think Roy Dotrice has done a pretty good job. He also played a part in the show.

He is such a dad it's hilarious
In the Italian dubbing you can clearly hear him saying "by the name of the seven gods", which I always found a bit wrong since Ned believes in the Old Gods, not the Seven. I was surprised to know that in the original you can't understand what he says.
"I've been Boromir in Lord of the Rings and in Game of Thrones" Ned returns as Boromir in season 8 confirmed
What a twist!
well both character look exactly the same ^^;; tbh i thought he used his old Lord of the rings costume playing the character.
what if Boromir was isekaid to GoT?
With the Rohan Riders and Aragon! (Sadly, nobody will get that reference.)
Gandalf will kill the night king
He was asked why Ned Stark shouted Baelor at his beheading. He was beheaded at the Sept of Baelor; a center for religious worship. There was a statue of Baelor there. Arya climbed up the statue to see what was going on. Ned spotted her when they were walking him out. He next spotted Night’s Watch recruiter Yoren and shouted, “Baelor!” This alerted Yoren to look at the statue, shield, and protect Arya. Right?
Yes
@GoldenLion I think he mistook Yoren for Baelor. Ned couldn't say anything revealing and only Yoren could understand. Anyone would know Baelor for sure. But only Yoren, who was an honorable ally and friend of Ned could recognize Arya at the statue, because he knows her face of all the people standing around him while he shouted "Baelor!". Hope that clears it! :)
It is always *Boromir !* 🙏😂 The Gondorian.

I love videos like this. He actually seems genuinely happy, unlike a lot of those actors who you would consider "higher profile". He's had a great long career, and while he's never been "A-list" per se - and that's not a criticism of his excellent acting skills, he's happy and he knows that he'll always have a job and never go hungry, maybe not being "A-list" is why he's a lot happier. The only time he looked kind of downbeat was when he was talking about Game of Thrones, it's like he's proud he did it, but it seems to drain him just simply talking about it. But it's great to see him smile and "not die" in the middle of a video with him in it.
