The song progression slowed down like that, mixed with the chord progression, the elimination of all but the acoustic made my eyes well and gave me a throat knot. I tried desperately not to cry... and then Faith absolutely nailed that chorus line. I hung on by a very thin thread... until their eyes locked as she poured her soul into that song. That was last night. I've been ugly crying ever since. I've had this song on repeat since then. Both the album version and this live version are nothing short of spectacular

I think of my parents this way. They loved each other so much. My dad passed away from injuries from teens drag racing drunk. He was only 29. She was pregnant with me and she had three children 7 and younger. My mom passed when I was 21 from a rare form of breast cancer at 54. She loved my dad immensely. I believe my dad came to get her as she would talk to him just before she passed. It gives me comfort they are together. I want that kind of love/relationship.
