The funniest thing is why the orcs detect the genestealers: genestealers tend to be more passive as that would usually make them harder to detect. Ironically they weren't aggressive enough for orc society

I like to convince myself humanity is comically stupid in Warhammer 40k, at least when it comes to Genestealer cults. "Is it just me or is Bill from accounting, purple?" "We're xenophobic, not racist, now shut up and eat your reprocessed gruel."
Lore is pretty specific, that unless you are born into a privileged class, or test for high aptitude at a young age, the majority of humans are not receiving an education past how to do their preselected manufactorum job/imperial guard training, and how to properly praise and thank the God Emperor.

Its probably because certain generations of gene stealers look almost human. And in the imperium mutants are tolerated on many worlds due to economic necessity. Why your options are Steve with crab hands and 11 eyes, or Jannette with slightly purple skin. Most imperial servants will choose the slightly purple skin.

Orks beating the new Genestealers was probably a lot because they were bored or they just wanted to fight the four armed Ork.
There are actually a several AdMech-based GSC cults...the most notable being The Bladed Cog, which took over the worker thralls of a planet and spread up into the Skitarii and low-level enginseers. That Cult's Day of Ascension was even coordinated by a Skitarii Alpha who became their Cult Nexos/Strategist. This allowed them to override many of the ruling Magi's defensesive systems and cause entire Skitarri cohorts to just stand down or be reduced to chaos by conflicting Doctrina uploads. The cult now spans the stars and has even assisted other AdMech-adjacent cults like The nomadic Rusted Claw, who they built a plastic "pope mobile" for, so their ferrophagic magus could be transported around without instantly dusting their ride with a mere touch. The Bladed Cog have also been notable for having Servitors...and infecting a servitor can have interesting results, like them regaining "sapience" as the genes and new connection to the hivemind, undoes some of the lobotomy that turns them into servitors in the first place. More technological forms of infection, like viral scrapcode that can be transmitted en masse to Skitarii, Servitor, and Cybernetica forces through Canticles and Doctrina uploads and result in IFF-systems switching to favour the Cult, have also been noted. The AdMech Biologis in the Twisted Helix are another major note: Partly because they and the planetary nobles and alchemists they worked with, infected themselves on purpose via gene-editing...whoops. There are probably several of the cult's numerous Biophagi that were also members of Biologis covens prior to infection. Since they produce medicine and chems for several planets and guard regiments, which they have now tainted with genecode taken from "The Prime Specimen", this has resulted in the cult's reach expanding way beyond their relatively small initial numbers...also notable that it's a cult that spread from the Top-down, not the Bottom-Uo, as the first infected were nobles, magi, and imperial chirugeons.
There was a... not so much cult as an AdMech infectee in one of the Ciaphas Cain novels.

@@jaysmom1998 I don't think they've shown up in the novels yet, outside possibly a mention or two...but the cults I mentioned were all laid out in the GSC Codex back in 8th at least. They had actual rules too. Bladed Cog got cybernetics (Heavy Weapon movement and invul saves), Rusted Claw are all about them vehicles and bikers, and Twisted Helix had gene-enhancements and mutations.

How many ork genestealers do you want? Yes
Asexual reproduction is basically f___ing yourself. When two infecteds f___ you get a 1st gen Acolyte Hybrid. But when two 1st gens f___ you probably get another Acolyte, leaving a Genestealer Ork Cult a genetic dead end. So no Neophytes, no Purestrains, no Patriarch and so broodmind to direct the raging murderous generically enhanced multi limbed purple, and therefore INVISIBLE, mutant ork horde. Consider the idea sunk in.
It's a good thing Tyranids aren't "smart". They should be farming Orks for infinite biomass.
@@protoroc They all ready did that. It was the Octarius war. The trouble is that the Nids had to break out. As if they stayed in that conflict for too long. Then Ghazghull Mag Uruk Thraka could have started an mass Waaagh. Or, the non stop conflict could lead to the re emergence of Krorks. Maybe if the Orks were the only threats that tyranids had to deal with. Then they could still win. But getting locked in a war of attrition against a Waagh led by the prophet of gork and mork, or fighting till you evolve your enemy is a bad idea. Since a war of that nature could last for ages. Giving the imperium enough time to create an effective response.

@@TearDownGenesis I think another thing that could have happened is primarchs ruling parts of the Imperium in their own way, like there being several realms of Ultramar. A more decentralized Imperium than what already exists.

it was written in their codex that they dont sexually reproduce. They are actually cloned and genetically engineered for certain duties. So I'd imagine a genestealer cult is pretty difficult to create in their society. I'm not sure Majorkill has read the book
There are some examples of orks genestealer that managed to thrive, for example, this document about the different types of dakka: SQUISHY DAKKA AKA: Bitey Guns, Crawly Shootas Some of da boyz from Octarius got their mekz to loot some of da dakka from da tirry-nids. Works pretty well if you keep 'em fed. You can get sum from Ulg Lotsarms and his boyz, just smack 'im in da gob if he keeps talkin' about “Gork and Mork but wiv four arms for hittin' people” and “the patriork” and uvver rubbish. RATING: 10/10

Video idea: which primarch did each Chaos god wanted the most? Like did Khorn wanted Angron or Sanguineous?
Tzeentch is kind of implied to be toying with Corvus while he hunts traitors in the warp Slaanesh would probably also want Sanguineous. Nurgle is tough because he definitely wouldn't want the Ferrus due to the fact the dude bangs more toasters than Guilliman bangs elves. Salamanders/Vulkan love fire so that's out, the Khan is addicted to speed and Papa Nurgle is all about the slow rot. Really the death guard are the only option, Dorn is too angry & loves playing with legos. Russ is even angrier & three shots of caffeine away from roiding out & serving Khorne. The only other option is Dark Angels & while they're the type of dudes to get bitten during the zombie apocalypse and not tell the group theyre infected because 'it's a private matter' I don't think it fits with Nurgle's vibe. There's been few different versions of the heresy, such as the Dornian or Rouboutian heresy. Casting the primarchs in different ways

5:19 There was a book called Cult of the Warmason where a sister is very much implied to be infected, but thinks it’s the Emperor. And another called Day of Ascension where Skitarii get Genestealerified then betray their masters.

According to the book "Space Hulk" if a marine is infected his cells try and fight the germ seed, both replicate and fight one another until the marine collapses and dies, yellow ichor and puss running free from ruptures, lesions, and orifices as the two over replicate and tear them apart from the inside.
Yrliet from the Rogue Trader CRPG mentioned that Aeldari can easily sense genestealer infection, as well, so they aren't a threat to Aeldari the way they are to humans.

Aren't most Dark Aeldar born in clone tanks? What happens if gene stealers subvert the staff at the street thug production center and start giving everybody a kiss as they're 'born'?
Dark Eldar reproduce normally with the difference that in women the child is operated on and put into some kind of growth-accelerating thing. The only ones who give birth naturally in Dark Eldar society are the nobles.

Presumably she gets paid for her trouble then runs off to spend it on weapons and die. Per the warhammer wiki: (Trueborn) are arrogant and see themselves as far better than the majority of Drukhari, who are born in amniotic gestation tubes and whom the Trueborn call the "Halfborn." Due to the constant and high death among Drukhari as a result of their vicious and amoral culture, creating new Drukhari using in vitro fertilisation is necessary to maintain Commorragh's large population.

I also like to think on some hive worlds, the genestealers do get found out and wiped. Not by the will of the planetary governor, not by the local PDF, but by a few gangers who decided that those funky looking purple guys are intruding on their house’s property.

Something I've thought about is how the Blank field would interact with the Shadow in the Warp. What if two negatives make a positive? What *if*, when a blank is in the shadow, they become a psyker of power proportional to how strong their blank gene is? So sisters of silence all basically become Varro Tigurius?
T'au also use eugenics/breeding programs and arranged partnerships, so easier to screen for the infection pretty easily.
If you ever have the chance Majorkill or if you even bother with that stuff anymore could you cover the homebrew cult of the Serpent? Personally the idea of Genestealers saying F*** you to the hive mind to at least temporarily go after their own goals is funny to me and I’m to lazy to look up more in lore reasons. Or maybe a video about the Unfleshed? Good video by the way!

The Octarius war kind of made it clear they found a way around Orks seeing through it somehow. I also thought that orks outnumbered humans, or at least ork planets out number human ones... so shows what I know.

Can we can a video debating the hierarchy of things like “Grey Knights vs Custodes”? I’d really like to know who has more authority in certain scenarios.
Considering that the Grey Knights take straight Big E genes to their veins, yea, I have wondered the same.
Careful, we even mentioning Custodes in passing right now attracts the fans who are obsessed with identity politics trying to derail every thread.
Custodes are beyond all law and command except that of the Emperor, so I am guessing that's an easy question.

I love how the Silent King considers Tyranids to be the greatest threat to the galaxy, when the Necron race is almost entirely unbothered by their shenanigans. Tomb Worlds have basically nothing for growing 'Nids so are frequently ignored, and necrodermis bodies are physically incapable of being corrupted by the Hive Mind. And yet, Szarekh is like "fuk dem hos" and is hell bent on thwarting the nibbly buggers. Like he's saying "That's MY galaxy, nobody else gets to play with it!"
The reason Szerakh the silent king hates Tyranids is because he believes he can reverse bio transference and place the Necron souls back in human bodies. My lord and master lmotekh the Storm Lord considers this sacrilege and will not allow it to happen. Hence the Necrons civil was between Szerakh and lmotekh. I remain your obedient servant Cryptek Thyotek of the Sautekh dynasty.
Has to do with the Silent King trying to reverse the bio-transference, which he believes requires organic lifeforms such as humans. If the Tyranids eat everyone, they can't return to an organic form, or so they believe.

Oh yeah, good old Genestealer cult's, Definitely a classic. I know someone who can put a flame to the candle when it comes to a Genestealer cult as far as bloodshed. I saw a commissar named Thaddeus. walk down the hall with a power sword and slaughter 25 men and women just to get to one individual. The really messed up Part was when one of the men had a child and he proceeded to chop off the hand so the little girl could take a piece of her father with them to the transport.

There was the start of a genestealer infestation in one of the caphais caine books, for the emperor where some tau fire wariors get infected, much to inquisitor amberley vails satisfaction (caines girlfriend)
There was also that one time a Grey Knight got infected.
Honestly if genestealers were capable of infecting space marines & re-writing the geneseed to make them non-sterile .. that would be really scary.
Day 3 of asking MajorKill to make a video on how the setting would be different if Angron never had his butchers nails.
The gene stealed power station management servitor that took down the generators for the shields for a city so it could be bombarded from sapce was a cool short story.
In he book dark Disciple a Word Bearer was attacked by a genestealer and infected. When discovered, he was 'purged' for now being of unclean geneseed. So chaos purge the 'unclean'...
Just wanted to confirm that the Sororitas can indeed be infected. (I strongly recommend the book "Cult of the Spiral Dawn, it's amazing.)

I honestly hope that GW figures out better lore for the Genestealer Cults and separates them from the Tyranids. They were more interesting when they were this mysterious race that infiltrated and spread out collecting and combining the best parts of each race in the galaxy for their own purposes. Now they’re basically just Imperial Guard

The sisters of battle not only can be effected, but have. In the book "Cult of the Spiral Dawn" a sister was infected, led a group of Genestealers into her convent to kill all her sisters, and then went on to sire an entire cult, almost single handedly. Lol
