thanks, lindsay! the simple things can be so hard when you don't understand the little details that make it work. and fidgeting! not just for time-wasting any more :)
you are a awesome teacher. watching your videos along with another "teacher" on KZhead has made me a decent contact juggler. thank u for showing me such a cool art form
Thank you for your tutorials! I've just started learning the basics, but your tutorials are bringing it to life :)
Hello!! I'm japanese. I love watching Contact Juggling on youtube. I bought crystal ball yestaday. I study Contact Juggling useing your videos. I appreciate your wonderful videos.
Yeah, I figured it out. I was trying to force it from one finger to the next. Once I I relaxed my fingers a bit, I was able to get it. Thank you!
your videos are great really helpful info ive been contact juggling for 2 weeks so far :) still such a long way to go
This video is helpful and great pacesetting for newbies. Thx!
Muchas gracias por tus tutoriales, me han servido mucho!
Lindsay please come back. Teach contact juggling routines

You're a great instructor. Thanks for sharing your talent and knowledge.
You have an AMAZING name!
Thanks!
Oh, I understand the mailman thing... Thanks for watching! =) Welcome to your new addiction.
Hey Lindsay. First, Thank you for putting these videos up. I greatly appreciate it, and they have helped me quite a bit. Now, I'm trying to do what you are doing here, but I seem to have too much friction with the finger rolls to do it smoothly. I know this is operator error, because it's an acrylic ball (100 mm). I have relatively large hands, so that shouldn't be an issue... Soooo any other tips? What am I doing wrong? What are some common mistakes with this trick?
Yup! Rolling your fingers open and closed one at a time will really help. Even if you have to go really slow, focus on keeping it smooth as opposed to as fast as possible and work up to a faster pace. I', sure you can also find tons of hand exercises for people who play instruments like the guitar or a piano. Google knows. =P
I love this video :D Got a *sticky* practice ball, 100mm, i find practicing this easier with my 65mm acryllic
what size ball are you using?
Do you ever have issues with fingernails? Or is there any movement in contact juggling in which fingernails may be an obstacle? I ask this because I play classical guitar and I need to have my nails for it. However, I'm interested in contact juggling but I don't know if it affects the contact juggling technique.
You may find that they get in the way for some moves (like the windshield wiper) but for the most part you shouldn't have too much trouble. You will probably need to tweak some moves to work around them but it's definitely doable!
que lindo!
I'm having problems with the squeeze ups. It seems like my ball isn't as smooth as yours even though it's an acrylic and it seems to stick to my hands when trying that trick. What can I do to fix this?
What type of ball is that I want one
Ahahah I glove as well and I've always wanted to get into contact juggling. They have so much in common.(:
I really have a hard time smoothly moving my ball in this way. I have very small hands, and I think I have a medium to smaller ball. Do you think I should go smaller or will it not really affect much?
I have a big problem. My fingers are really stiff from yoyoing (Check my channel), and my fingers can't move individually. I will try and raise one finger and my pinky will raise automatically. I also can't move my middle finger down without my ring finger following. Are there some finger exercises I should do?
Hmmm.... friction you say? Maybe try cutting into it with your fingers from more of a horizontal angle? Sometimes your acrylic can become sticky too. If it does just run it under some water. Also use your thumb for some extra lift when you're doing a squeeze up. Best of luck!
Thx
ahhh te amo...!!
You could try washing it. Sometimes body oils or other junk can build up and make them kind of sticky. Also focus on cutting in with your fingers on a horizontal plane as opposed to coming in on a more vertical angle. I hope that helps!
Hi, what size of ball is this, because I am trying with 75mm and I am not sure if it is too small or I just sux so hard xD
This is really fucking cool, i've literally just found out what it is ur really good at it
when I try squeeze ups my hands sort of stick to the ball. it is acrylic so I dunno what to do.
NIce, i found this very helpful! ty. (you are pretty btw)
how do I know what size to get please
plz feel up the videos ur blowing my Mind
Never in my life I thought I would have to use so much finger muscle omfg
What is the size of this ball?
What ball size is this?
cool
way cool chick!!
I can't seem to be able to do the squeeze ups. Is itmaybe because my ball is a bit sticky? Maybe I should buy an acrylic one.
If you're using a silicone ball then it will be a little sticky. try really cutting in with your fingers on a horizontal angle. that might help! Otherwise, yes, this is much easier with an acrylic ball.
this is so awesome... but don't have a contact juggling ball so I'm doing it on a ball with a rough surface... and its not making it easier :(
that your ball has nice color
How big ist this ball? Nice video
+Nilu Far Thanks! And it's a 75mm.
one finger at a time!!!!! :)
Why did Lindsay get into Juggling? Find out in her Nothing Off Limits Podcast interview kzhead.info
Yeah, I think I am pressing too hard on it, or I may be using the wrong angle. I'll keep at it. Thank you!
May sound like a stupid question but are my fingernails going to be an issue for contact juggling? If so, I'm cutting the things off! Thanks!
+Jolene Theresa Not stupid at all! I can keep fairly long fingernails as a contact juggler but there definitely is such a thing as too long. Maybe just go for a trim?
Haha okay, thanks!
What size ball is that?
Elisa França 75mm.
you have beautiful hands :3
You are beautiful and talented and inspiring! and frustrating! Because I want my contact balls to hurry up and have the mailman GIVE THEM TO ME ALREADY
what if you have a son that has very small hands???
i could think of many - lol
Nice girl :)
Comment
What are the balls called?
Love your loughs, really
I find this move not as impressive looking, too me it's more of an exercise to get use to moving your fingers around the ball to teach things like the palm roll or squeeze ups.
I suppose ball jokes diminish as soon as you juggle 1 ball
SUPER all your videos, thank you very much
