My Parents didnt even know that it was TN and asked the waiter in hindi. It was a very innocent thing. But the waiter lashed out on old parents. I was enraged and got into a verbal fight with him. This hate is peculiar to Tamil nadu only. In any other state they will say that they don't know the language. And those old people were not knowing about the language issue. No body considers Hindi superior. It just shows the deep rooted inferiority complex that people like you are carrying. Ever been to north east? Those people have so many languages. They are still fine with speaking hindi because its easy for them to communicate. You don't speak but dont hate and disrespect
