So Yelawolf actually used to be a beautiful young man. And I mean that in a James Dean way. Very charismatic. I'm so glad he never became a pro skateboarder. He's probably a totally genius at that too, but then his music legacy may have been less, and who knows perhaps even this wouldn't exist. How can this song be so good? I mean, like really really good, both musically and the technical production. It's simply the best gangster song ever, regardless genre. For some reason it feels kinda like it's all such songs ever all at once. And it's just a beat, a piano playing chords?, that horn thing and some zynth drizzle ding sounds. And then he just lays it like... only Yelawolf can lay down. He's rapping a melody and singing a rap, while changing up the flow. He's so tight and on beat and his cadence is wicked. I've actually been so inspired by Yelawolf that I've written a song to the instrumental of this, and hope to perhaps actually make a recorded song out of it. I hope that's OK. I will not publish the song commercially or anything, that is if it isn't picked up as a "Russe-song" here in Norway. The lyrics is kind of an exaggerated parody of being a cocaine-snorting gangster posing with his guns on Insta gram after gram up his nose talking a lot of shit about pussy, machine guns money and cocaine. This will of course probably never happen, but I have written the lyrics and I actually think they are really good, surprisingly enough. They're in Norwegian though, so wouldn't make sense and the translation using Google sucks, I've tried. And if this ends up blasting out of every Russe-car next year I'll be sure to have the right people contact the right people regarding my blatantly stealing and using of the entire instrumental track of this. I've also written a truly heartfelt and awesome tribute to Norway on the American You track, which I in my grand delusion imagine to become a great anthem to all Norwegians that is played at great tragedies and important national events and such. And I actually think it could be, that it is that good. Never written a song in my life, but I write really good, in Norwegian anyway, It's called Norway My Little Land, which is kinda the same title as both current anthems too. "My Little Land - Mitt Lille Land" became a phrase all Norwegians took to their hearts in 2011, after the terror attack in Oslo. If I'm in the right emotional state I actually move myself to tears with my lyrics. And I got a verse to prevent right wing nationalist assholes to coup my song, just saying that in my little land everyone is welcome regardless of whether you're from Somalia, Albania Iran or Afghanistan. Which is a thing that lots of not-so--right-wing people probably will have issues with too, but I don't care because I really mean it. Why do I write all this stupid sh*t here? Because I can't do it on any of my Norwegian places, because it's a secret project. But I have to talk write about it somewhere or I'll go mad. Nobody forced you to read it.. I hope, at least. Thanks.
