I've read this story not once, and know it too well! But in your rendering it with these wonderful bits of acting Dickens' Carol has really made my eyes wet . Thank you so much. But maybe it's also my age which let me understand the spirit of the narrative deeper than I managed to do in my younger years. And I've decided to add something else. I probably was so much emotional while listening to the story because of the beautiful English it was written in and beautiful rendition of yours.

Did you know, that if you break off the top of the chocolate Santa, you can pour inside it champaign or something like that and drink, using Santa as a glass, but swiftly ;)) I wanted to thank you for reading The Christmas Carol. I've got this book, but I never came round to read it, because of old-fashion English, it was difficult for me to read through it. But for now I've got acquainted with this amazing story and in the end of your reading my eyes got wet... I read ChD's book "Oliver Twist" in Russian, when I was I child, and it was one of my favorite books. I want to wish you and all your listeners around the world merry Christmas, peace and happiness in 2024. And I wish all mean and wicked people to become kind and generous.

Luke, you tell the story with your heart, it can be seen in your eyes... I was moved, because I live in Japan and here workers don't have the habit of valuing Christmas Day, and consequently no one has time off, unfortunately I already I had to work on some of those days, the culture treats it as a normal day like any other day...

I already read some easy made stories from Charles Dickens. I loved them all. But this story is special and many memories of my childhood come over me. My Grandparents and my parents were alive. My father played always the fiddle for the children to come in. The story makes me sad and happy. Thanks for telling it again.

I didn't know this story is this moving and heartwarming. I studied his works helped people at the time(industrial revolution)to have respect the poor and to help them. It's absolutely one of the best masterpieces in the world and in the entire history.
