No one in the Administration will call out the obvious alliance between the CCP and the Cartels. The government of Mexico does not control most of their country, the Cartels are in control. What policy and tactics will be activated once Biden is out of Office? Is any trade or human passage across the Border actually essential or beneficial to the USA. What legitimate businesses in Mexico are under Cartel control. What sanctions should be enacted "today" to counter malign Chinese/Cartel activity?
