Though Sowore and I were in the University the same time but I would admit, as a man, that he was much more in tune than most of us back then. As you all can clearly see here, while the rest of us students just cast our votes for MKO, other student leaders unlike Sowore accepted the 505 Peugeot bribe from Babagida regime, Sowore (rejected the bribe) had more foresight and was in the forefront with our President (MKO) that never was. In the light of this, as a religious person you can say Sowore is ordained to lead us one day or if you are not religious, it is undeniable that you would agree that he was born to lead. He was only 22 years old (in this video) in 1993 but knew exactly where leaders belonged. WE NEED TO THINK ABOUT IT AND SUPPORT SOWORE NOW. As an early 90s baby I was too young of a boy at this era to understand what was happening in government. It sad that his election was annulled, this man got robbed of what he worked his whole life to get. Based on my personal convictions & research If i have to point a finger at one leader who did most harm to Nigeria in history it must be Gen babangida. At the time of this video the man was busy scheming on how he could remain in power to add to the 8 years he had already spent as military president.he didn’t care what his friend of 20 years plans or plight or the other millions of Nigerians supporting Abiola. It sad that his election was annulled, this man got robbed of what he worked his whole life to get.
