I work out pretty much every single morning and its LIFE CHANGING! I completely believe your morning routine can DETERMINE how productive your day will be. I have always been an early bird but in 2020 I started to wake up at 4AM and it has revolutionized the type of work I am able to produce. I HIGHLY suggest you make it a priority to wake up early. Just try it for 2 weeks...I promise you will come to love the results!💕

Once many years ago, I wrote a thank you letter (longer than a note) to a young man I had dated the previous evening. Because of that letter, he asked me on a second date and a third --- well, it led to meeting his parents. Fast forward a few weeks and this one letter led to a proposal. We were married for 32 years before he passed away due to kidney failure and diabetes. Fortunately, we had a son and a daughter whom I can now enjoy in spite of being without him. So, when we say, "The pen is mightier than the sword". . . this was a mighty pen. And what a life changer!
1. Wake up 2. Brush my teeth and tongue 3. wash my face and moisturize it (BHA Serum, daycream and SPF) 4. make a greek juice (cellery, green apple and lemons - sometimes also ginger) 5. take omega 3's 6. share green juice with my love :) 7. clean my juicer 8. make some yoga/stretching 9. dress up 10. make coffe and start working (sipping on a huge jar of water) :D I really love your videos Amy

I love this! I always tell people who ask me how I created mine that I focused on 3 things: *body, mind, spirit* . What do YOU need in each category to not just set yourself up for a great day, but also plant seeds for where you want to be 1, 3, 5, 10 years from now? (Body = self-care, skin-care, exercise, etc. Mind = mindset work, learning new skills, reading, etc. Spirit = meditation, gratitude, breathing, spiritual practices, etc.)

It took me a long time to become more of a morning person, but now that I am I love it. It feels so much better starting my day in a mindful, self-aware state. I love journaling, reading, and working out first thing in the morning! I tend to plan my day out the night before so I’m not thinking of a million things before going to sleep. love all of your ideas!

I LOVE this! Maybe because I’ve been incorporating some of these things into my life already. I’m obsessed with notebooks and writing things down all of the sudden! I started learning Spanish in January! I have really limited social media for the last 8 months or so. I notice it is not productive for me, it’s like a deep mud hole that I sink into and find it hard to crawl out of. When I cut it out of my mornings, my days began to start off so much better!! I rarely check it anymore and I have so much more peace that way 😌. Again, love this video, it was so refreshing to see some new suggestions. Can’t wait to start applying them! 😊

Yes, finding replacements for apps, even for an alarm clock can help with less screen time. Great tips!
I just can't find an alarm I don't hate. I'd love to put my phone on charge downstairs and not touch it until after I'm dressed with teeth brushed etc. But anything but my wake up playlist puts me in a foul mood.

Make blueberry or fruits parfaits the night before. It's fruit, yogurt, and oatmeal. It makes me feel prepared and it keeps me full for a long while.

Normally I'm writing in my diary with some music on, and then make a small list of stuff I really want to get done. And then with some swingy dance music a shower to get all the energy going! clean/de-clutter. easy to do while slowly waking up & clears out mental and physical space.
I pray in the morning as my first conscious thought. Then, ideally, I do my exercise video and my shower. My shower includes skin care of putting on lotion due to my dry skin. Once I take care of my inside and outside, then the house comes next (dishes, clutter, and laundry). If you don't know what to write, write a memory about your first date with your spouse, your first Christmas together, special days with aunts, uncles or grandparents. The biggest excuse is " no one wants to read my stories". Well, they will the day after you're gone. So, start writing today.

I am 71 with A-Fib. I wear a watch that tracks everything. I synch w my phone, then write them down (steps, O2 & BP while sleeping, hi & low BP for previous day, etc. etc.) in my planner. Then I have coffee & walk around inside, then wash my face.
Phone alarm at 9am (& 9pm) means take your vitamins & heart meds.
What do you use (apps, your common place book, etc.) for gathering & then processing ideas? I often list things in my “notes” folder on my phone, but I seldom revisit unless I need to look for some specifically. There has to be a more productive system.
