Nightclubs in the late 80s and early 90s were almost like hunting grounds, especially the bigger, swankier ones. Bass thumping was a relatively new phenomenon in mainstream music, couple that with copious amounts of liquor and your drug of choice. People were having the times of their lives, though half of them barely remembered anything but getting trashed. Sounds sordid now, but it was loads of fun back then!
