This is the moment my Golden Retriever realized he raised a little monster! 😂 Since Leo was never a fully committed parent, no wonder why Simba is such a little rascal. Alright, all jokes aside, both of them are wonderful pups that just like to play fights. What is your favorite part?

  • These two are bonding. All the snorting and sneezing is how they reassure each other that this is just play. If Leo wanted to 'correct' Simba he would bark at him loudly and possibly even nip him. But they are just horsing around. In fact, Simba is being pretty gentle and following the rules of Bitey Face Game.

  • Reminded me of our first two Golden Retrievers, brother and sister from the same litter. They were extremely loud when they played, but we never heard a yip in their 15 years with us. She was the instigator and insisted on playing even when they were 15 years old. If he didn't want to play, she would grab him by the ear and pull him across the yard until he started playing with her.
