In this video, I show you several tools (including the Command Prompt, PowerShell, NirSoft's Prodkey, and finding the Certificate of Authenticity) to find the product key for Windows. At least one of these methods can be used to recover the key for Windows 10, 8, 7 and the server versions of Windows. Though it's hidden in Window's Activation screen and inacccessbile in your computer's BIOS, you can retrieve an OEM key from the BIOS or UEFI, or obtain it from the registry.
In case you want to copy and paste the commands, here is the one for the Command Prompt:
wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey
and here is the one for PowerShell:
(get-wmiobject -query ‘select * from SoftwareLicensingService’).OA3xOriginalProductKey

I'm using Win7 and Nirsoft shows me 2 Windows 7 entries where 1 has Product Key & other is empty. I'm having issues with startup. It's slow as hell & shows "Windows is not genuine" - which doesn't accept this key. I'm using Cracked version and I'm stuck because I had to install an MS certificate which I removed but the problem still persists 😔

I had my HDD changed recently, the service guy did a terrible job and forgot to activate windows on newly installed SSD thus it was showing a Windows Activation prompt again and again. I tried all methods but they were of no avail as none worked. The Windows PowerShell method mentioned by you worked for me like a charm and I myself activated my Windows by putting the original Product Key.

I would just like to say a hearty thank you for this video, I bought a desk top computer with 11 installed on a small ssd and wanted a bigger ssd and 10 pro which media I did buy online, after removing ssd containing 11, and installing new ssd and fresh install of 10 pro, the activation key wouldn't take. Much appreciated. Unfortunately when I changed my hardware (made my first computer from scratch about a year ago), and had bought Win 10 Pro. My hard drive became corrupted about a week ago, so I ordered a new one to replace it, and had to re-install windows. Unfortunately, it tells me that the key is already associated to a different motherboard (which obviously can't be true, all I did was replace my NVMe SSD), so I'll have to downgrade to windows 10 home premium or something, and use the OEM key that came with my laptop, or figure out something. Still though, knowing this command will make it a lot easier, so you have my thanks. Always good to know how to access the key, regardless. :)

Use a P-touch label maker if your vision of Windows did not come with a sticker, but you know it. Print the key and stick it on your PC. I do this for all products I purchase. I note the seller's name, the date of purchase, serial number, date registered, etc. This can be very helpful in the future. You could also put that information into a database app. I keep all documentation and user manuals in a file folder labeled with the device's name.

Amazing , Fianlly got it form ikeyzone I like some of the transitions, but sometimes they're a bit too much and are seemingly random. Since we use these persistent elements that transition across pages to indicate some kind of relationship between the previous and the next states, some of your transitions confuse me because I can't immediately see what the relationship is. For example 2:23 of the selectable tiles (which weren't selected) transition into being two switches... does that mean anything? are they related in some way? I see this as random and a bad use of the design language. However, at 1:14 I like the transition from switches to the ticks on a paper, that makes sense to me. Epic presentation tho
