  • Wado ,Your song and voice are beautiful I am learning as for the first time in my life I have a mentor from another tribe. My Cherokee families are to far away to learn from them in person so I am trying to learn our language, drumming and singing so thank you for sharing this beautiful song I will sing it often.

  • That's a sad story. I do feel welcoming though. Like you made it here. I just now discovered this channel if you happen to read this do you have legends? I need all the old stories if possible, please. If I said any of this incorrectly I apologize and I mean no disrespect.

    • Osiyo ! Happy you came. Legends ? just depends what legends are you looking for. You be blessed.

    • Half of me is a prominent American family, for half of my life I was told, we were told, that we had some native ancestry. Now we are told that we don't. My mother who is on that side of that family took two DNA tests and they did not come back the same. We have had four forts and a river named after us. Something is not right. We were told we have 4 tribes. Cherokee Mohawk Delaware and one other. Iroquois got mentioned often. Iroquois is United tribes? Please correct me if I'm wrong. I have been all over this country listening to old stories. I've hung out with the tribes in Washington state. I've spent hours listening to old stories from all over the world. I've learned how to speak to them all. But as far as native Americans go I have more Western parts of the country stories. So I'm looking for more stories and legends from this side of the country. All the natives I've run into speak of times to come. I have all kinds of stuff at the ready. So I'm looking for things outside of the narrative. I'm looking for things they tried to bury and destroy. I'm looking for the stories they tried to hide. I'm not worried what they sound like I just need to know what they are. I guess I don't need it but I would like it and appreciate it. We got the lies so I seek the storytellers. I seek the elders wisdom. I seek the things we should be looking for. I actually didn't figure out how to turn on notifications for this channel but I shall be paying attention. If you do have some direction I am thankful for it. If you do not, I am also thankful for it.
