Clever use of washing powder container and five-liter plastic bottles in the kitchen

I've always had a problem with food leftovers in the sink. No matter how much you clean the dishes before washing, pieces of food still remain on them.
And a strainer for protection does not always save. Food particles still accumulate underneath it.
After washing the dishes, you need to put them away and collect garbage with your hands.
It is especially inconvenient when you need to wash a teapot with used tea leaves. I shake it out into my hands and then throw it into a bucket. And still many leaves remain in the sink.
Now I have built an excellent device for this task.
You will need a used powder capsule container or a plastic bottle.
You need to make holes at the bottom, like a sieve. To do this, the nail was clamped with pliers and heated on a burner. A hot nail will quickly melt the plastic.
The idea is that you pour water and waste into this container, and the garbage settles at the bottom. All that remains is to remove and throw everything unnecessary into the trash bin.
After use, rinse the container and hang it up until next time.
How to attach this structure depends on the location of the sink and faucet. It was convenient for me to hang a self-adhesive hook on the tile and hang the box on it.
You can tie a rope and throw it over the faucet or attach a hook directly to the countertop.

2) For a refrigerator from a five-liter bottle.
With the onset of summer, our diet will become much more varied. Fruits, vegetables, salads. And many more dishes can be prepared from these products.
Even if you don’t have your own garden, the price of fruits will be 5-10 times cheaper. Same for vegetables.
To prevent food from going to waste quickly in hot weather, you have to put plates of food in the refrigerator.
And space is limited. Since water and compotes are also cooled there.
Everyone is also familiar with the situation when, during family holiday feasts, you clear the table and all the prepared dishes must be stuffed into the refrigerator.
Cover the plates with cling film and place one on top of the other. There are not always enough containers for this.
How we miss these holidays.
But there is a budget-friendly way to save space on your refrigerator shelves.
And a five-liter plastic bottle comes to the rescue.
This method can be used from time to time when necessary.
So what to do:
- A five-liter round bottle must be cut into rings. Use a utility knife and small scissors for this.
- Start from the bottom.
- Each compartment is approximately 5 cm. As a result, 3 rings are obtained from one bottle. The bottom and top will serve as lids.
- Trim all cut edges.
- It turns out to be a convenient organizer for plates.
- Depending on the height of the shelves in the refrigerator, it can be composed of one or two parts.
- Now we put a plate with food, a ring on top, a plate and a cap on it again, which protects the food from airing.
- If the plates are square, then a square bottle will do.
You can also place a plate on the inverted bottom.
It turned out like food containers.
This design takes up little space, but it can fit a lot.
There is a holder left that can also be used.
It is easy to pull it out of the neck with a screwdriver without cutting it.
This part can be used as a hook for a pot lid.
Just like that, a five-liter bottle went into full use.
And now its use has expanded beyond the garden.
