I experienced a tornado in NJ about s year ago, and it went through our neighbor's yard, and yet, most of the trees on our property were annihilated. I started a storm chasing group with my friend months before it happened, and we actually predicted it, and it happened. It encouraged me to become a storm chaser for my own company.

You know, as a fellow meteorologist and storm chaser. That day you guys chased when he said there was a wedge on the ground there was! My buddy was hit by it and it was only ef1 strength thank goodness! You guys helped out the storm chasing community so much❤ I’m glad to see you and Max did the because like I said again it helps out a lot with the community! The more people the less people that will be hurt! I thank @Maxolsonchasing for letting you guys chase with him!❤

The tornado was insane. It was 1/2 mile wide. The tornado was a Wedge Tornado rated at EF3 and above. I’m glad none of you were injured while hunting for tornadoes. I hope Noah is okay after being hit by hail. I’m glad you were able to tell where the tornado was developing. Please keep up the amazing videos.👍👍👍

Me my grandma and grandpa just survived a tornado and it was so close to hitting us and it was on the highway that we have to use to get out of our neighborhood and our neighborhood has no gates,I was so grateful that we survived we were one house away from the highway and it was that close to hitting us, thank god it did not hit us🙏🙏

Tornadoes are so cool! Plus unlike other natural disasters they have some family members! (Not supercell) but my favorite sub-kind is fire whirls! One killed over 30k in the 1920s

Green clouds are often tall clouds, which are a major ingredient for potential hail storms and tornadoes. Green does indicate that the cloud is extremely tall, and since thunderclouds are the tallest clouds, green is a warning sign that large hail or a tornado may be present. However, seeing green doesn’t mean a tornado is coming, it just means that a tornado could be coming. Edit:Thanks for the likes

- It usually is hiding by the clouds when it is circluating it could mean a tornado if you see green with some green it possibly a tornado wearing to Edit:when it snowed hard our speed was 129 mph

the tornado you guys saw on the last day is called a rain-wrapped tornado. the rain-wrapped tornadoes caused the city of Joplin, Missouri, to lose a lot of its homes. it's just like the name says, it's covered with rain so you can't see the tornado until it's too late.

I cannot thank y'all enough for this video, truly. My 6 year old is obsessed with y'all and also has an absolute terrifying fear of tornados. I'm not sure when it started but even the slightest bit of wind makes her physically start shaking from the thought of one coming by! We're in east Texas so we hear a lot of sirens and naturally that makes it worse. She's watched this episode on repeat since it dropped and it's been so helpful to help her explain the step by step! It helps solidify everything we've tried to tell her about tornados and how you need all the right ingredients to make one and that they don't happen as often as she may think. So thank you so much for this video that has helped my girl sleep better during all these storms and for all the other wholesome and cheerful ones. We stan Unspeakable here!! ❤

- I remember July two years ago we had a tornado in Montana and I still can’t believe it but I love this video ❤ and my house took a little damage and so did a lot of or cars but thankfully nobody was hurt I believe that God protected us and if u have a similar experience with tornadoes I understand u and God bless 14:20

- You have to either be incredibly skilled or unlucky to experinece a tornado. It took over 2 years of chasing and learning for me to see my first one.

- Tornadoes are indeed incredibly rare. Out of all supercells that form, only about 10% produce tornadoes, and most tornadoes only last a couple seconds to a few minutes.

I was in a super cell storm that produced over 5 tornadoes in one storm. Definitely one of the most scariest moments of my life.

I've been inside a tornado twice. Gladly, both were a small one that didn't rip our house apart. For the first one, we were all in the living room and it just suddenly hit. If you looked out the window, completely grey. Branches and stuff were flying EVERYWHERE. It started in a second and ended in a second. It was crazy. Now I'm to lazy to tell the story of the other one, so I'm gonna stop typing now. :D Stay safe everyone!

When clouds look green as you mentioned that is an indication of large hail, anytime you have large hail there is about a 50% chance of a tornado right behind because you have to have huge updrafts to get large hail to stay up in the clouds for a time before it falls. I have lived in Texas and Oklahoma's tornado alleys my entire life. I don't think I have ever seen a tornado without large hail in front of it. And I have seen a ton and been in several. You have to be really careful when chasing them because a lot of times when they touch down they turn right.

the one thing that makes tornadoes the scariest natural disaster because they aren't the deadliest they aren't the loudest and they aren't the biggest but they are by far the most frequent of the the actually deadly (not to say floods and minor earthquakes aren't deadly) but those usually cause property damage and some injuries with hundreds of tornadoes (both reported and not) happening annually and outside that there isn't really a rule for where they can happen just general guidelines like if the area is super flat like the american and canadian prairies but those are just general major tornado's happen near the great lakes region quite often despite the area being significantly forested and rocky and most important is their science unlike floods earth quakes and even volcanoes tornadoes are still being observed and understood scientifically with most of the public not knowing exactly why they exist or at the very least having a too specific understanding like saying only supercells cause tornadoes which is not the case even though actually dangerous tornado's are cause by supercells non supercells have caused f3 tornadoes before anyway tornadoes are still being researched hence why storm chaser can actually make a living selling the data they collect to agencies tldr tornadoes are scary because they are extremely common don't have defined location guidlines and aren't fully understood even now.

This is proof that the cameraman never dies (edit: the way they get these cool shots of the car driving past the camera is most likely caught by a drone, in one shot we did see a drone but from above, meaning they actually had two drones, most likely in case they lost one to a storm

Fun fact, it's safer to be in a dome structure during a tornado because the wind won't catch on corners, therefore making it immune to tornados. Stay safe!

- Weather nerd here, being in a dome will in fact protect you from a tornado, *however* they do have their limits, any shelter above ground, and even underground can be susceptible to damage in a major tornado. If the dome structures sides have a flat surface the wind will "push" the walls making the walls collapse first, not the roof as it is a lot more aerodynamic than a flat surface. Your best bet to survive a tornado is to get underground, if you cannot and are in a normal above ground building, get in an interior room such as a closet or bathroom. Cheers!

I live in Oklahoma, that should speak for itself but if it doesn’t, I’m 15 and been in more than 5 tornadoes. When the sirens go off every in my neighborhood makes a cup of coffee and sits on their porch. Oklahomians aren’t scared of tornados but they do know when the last second to take shelter is

Everyone please watch the weather today.... They're predicting alot of Super storms Day..... Please be on the roads stuck in traffic..... Because you come trapped.... And there's no where to go. Getting stuck in traffic is very deadly. You cannot put run a Tornado.... I care about each and everyone of you..... God Bless your Families.....

This reminds me of that bad storm/tornado we had a month or a few weeks ago. Winds were at 80 MPH and honestly, it was very fascinating to see such an even here in Texas.

16:45 always have a second plan of escape. If you don’t have one, the best option is to core punch like they did, which is probably one of the most *fun* parts of storm chasing.

I survived a tornado myself not too long ago. It destroyed my house and killed a few people. I'm lucky to be alive as a tree crashed down a few feet beside us. My family spent around 7 hours escaping. This video hit hard stay safe everyone

- Where I live there we’re about 5 tornados and right when I got out of school we had to rush home to get in Shelter because if we didn’t are hole car would have flipped and we could have died also about 16 roofs were taken off of building I was pretty scared

Out of the around 100 storms capable of producing a tornado, I've only seen one, but that one spawned another larger tornado. This also was from around a mile away so it was very close

I live an hour from Shawnee 4:30. Going into that town after that tornado was insane. I prayed for all the family's and everyone who was affected.

i live in Oklahoma City, and when i heard about shawnee i was scared because my dad is a roofing worker and we went and saw houses broken and we went to do jobs and work on peoples roof i felt really bad for peoples home😕 Glad no one got hurt tho big fan ❤
