So it's finally done. Congratulations! It took so long, I am sure that the sense of accomplishment is gratifying.
10:48 That's upsetting
Ok, you got me there. I'll watch every ad you have if you do one thing for me. Put that clip of you dropping the power hammer at the end of every video. Deal???
This is my favourite power hammer restoration channel by a wide, wide margin!
he has a %66 success rate
It's faster to just floor jack them and move on to the next one
@@seanthompson6720 😂
better than alec? he did nice jobs in the past as well!
That sponsor transition had me laughing out loud! Well done Will, well done. !🤣
You can see just how proud he was of it😂
I should have seen it coming, but it still caught me by surprise. Love the humor on this channel
Congratulations Will. Your channel is a joy to watch.
Love to see the hammer back up! Will, you are the best blacksmith on youtube! your videos have really inspired me.
Congrats Will! So awesome when hard work and ingenuity pays off. Be excellent to each other! Party on, dudes!
It's so good to see this old hammer up and running again. Great job, Will!
Will Stelter's segue game is on point
Was always under the impression it was spelled Segway 😂
Hi Will, it's nice to see people who can bring old machines back to life. Most people think it's junk, scrap it. Most of my machine shop is 75 to 100 years old, works fine with restoration of antique engines. Fine job, thanks for sharing the workings of the hammer. 👍
Thanks for filming Will. 👍😁
So pleased that you explain smithing in mortal speak. ❤😂
Now on to the next hammer that never got finished and had a small accident :) Great video as always.
I watched the new bearing being made on Abom79. Nice to see the hammer back together and working!
Congratulations Will
Smoothest Segway in the business Will! Well done!
Congrats on getting it back to working, and thanks for bringing us along with you.
you had me with the ad transition, would love more about that hammer though, looks beautiful.
..but I still remember see a hammer falling and the holding of breath, and God-willing I never will again. Great to see the Beaudry up to scratch again!
That hammer should have its own Instagram
Great video, Will!! I do miss your half hour or so knife making videos where everything didn't seem too rushed. I have learned more from you than anyone on KZhead.
Congratulations on finishing the beast!
Good to see you were able to figure out the treadle issue.
Love seeing that classic brought back to life!
That seems like an amazing powerful machine.
Congratulations on the resurrection of a wonderful power hammer! Thank you for keeping old iron alive! Btw, have you considered using belt dressing on the main belt? Might work.. might not. Not sure
Well done Will, so great to see the hammer back squishing metal!
I find it difficult to comprehend how such a young guy can get these power hammers, take them apart and then reassemble them, to get them running! You're truly a talented guy! And don't forget, a great knife Smith as well. 👍🤔
the Beaudry is a beautiful machine! Glad to see and hear you've gotten it sorted out and rockin out!
Glad to see it up and running again.
Ambitious project with amazing results. Congratulations!
Honestly, if you’ve got the energy to care to film those smaller progressive adjustments or minor/tedious repairs, I’d certainly be into that content. Unique or specific repairs and fine tuning, minor explanations, a couple fixed camera angles, and a mellow audio track, and also the everything else involved in putting out content, but all i’m sayin is I’d tune in for those videos.
"Speaking of squarespace..." 🤣😂 you crack me up
Excellent Will!!!! That beast is a beauty!!! I can’t wait to see the pieces you make with it now that it’s back up and running!!!!
Love seeing the hammer being brought back into good operational state! 👍🔨
Awesome project board behind the hammer, it's content say allot
Fantastic to see this bot of outdated and dangerous machinery working again. It really deserves to pound another hundred years. 🔨🛠⚒ great video2x👍
Awesome to see it running!
I had just watched the previous 2 videos yesterday and now I get the conclusion! Time for you to buy another power hammer to restore!
The baby beaudry is on deck for resto sitting in the entryway of the shop 😂
Congratulations on your success! Well done for keeping with it until the end. Greetings from Arizona.
Great to see the progress but the wobbly video does my head in!
Glad to see you got the Beaudry back up and running. I felt awful watching it fall over almost a year ago when that happened but we all knew you would fix it in time. Good on you Will, it took some time and its going to take some more time to break in but you did it. You stuck to your guns and made it happen.
Well done Will! Enjoyed this series, so happy you make the time to revitalise old functional technology (vices being another of your episodes). They definitely built them to last back in the day and with some knowledge and learning they can be brought back to a working life! 👍 Good work. Won’t mention the other hammer still in need of repair… 😉🙏
You have saved a beautiful machine there, awesome job :-)
I'm glad you got some help. I'm a little surprised you aren't jumping for joy.
Love the power hammers and the anvil restorations!!
Congratulations, Will. The hammer looks and sounds fantastic !
Congrats mate. Great to see you got the behemoth thingy going. I think I could hear that massive sigh of relief once everything was going the way it should've. No more clunks and other crazy sounds that makes one wonder if its going to all crash and seize up on ya. So, that of itself is now a massive relief. It works. YAY!!!🥳
Amen! Glad to see you got the hammer chooching properly again!
That hammer's got a mean smack! nice job, thanks for posting.
congratulations Will It's been a long time coming. I think we all remember when the original power Hammer tipped over.... "Machinists and blacksmiths all over for a second stopped what they were doing touch their heart and said in unison.... something terrible has happened"
Great work on the hammer Will.... Blessings.
I love that power hammer stuff and hopefully will have be able to get one . one day.. But what I really love is the scripture on the chalk board behind you in the video
Got to see that hammer when Salem was out here in AZ. Thing is beautiful to swing!
I'm getting a message that this content is not available on KZhead Vance which is what I used to watch youtube. I shall therefore watch it when I get home to my computer.
That beast is moving some metal!
It sounds like your old braking band material was very similar to the friction bands we use on our winches in commercial fishing. They're available in all sorts of sizes so your liable to find some that work for your hammers. They also do the braking function of the winch so they are designed for exactly that task. Just search for "Woven Brake Band Material" and you will pull up loads of manufacturers.
Congrats dude! Awesome achievement
Will, you have to create a new website for the anvil of the Beaudry - because then it does have a square space. 😁😇🤟
Brilliant. Love the content.
"And it's got sort of a square space." I literally said "you fucker!" out loud xD
That hammer is beautiful. I enjoy watching it run.
Fixes BIG power hammer, proceeds to forge teeny tiny bit of steel.😂
Nice job Will!!
Looks like it’s running well. Hopefully even better with the wear in
Looking good!
Cool that you got your hammer all back together and running smoothly. Incidentally, I believe Dave down at Engels Coach Shop (near Billings) has a small power hammer in his shop, in case you haven’t heard or seen it.
Dude! had to chuckle at the Squarespace segue. You got me LOL
Power Hammer Resto Redemption at long last. Well done, sir
Congrats Will. I have been struggling with a home made pneumatic power hammer for years. I have just figured it out. I sympathize. Making Damascus with a hand hammer is a bear.
After that catastrophic end to that one we don't speak of iam vary happy for you to have a fairly diled in power hammer now . Iam kinda jealous but more happy for you keep up the hard work .
loving your videos! cheers from germany
what a beast, you too Will.
Well done!
Pallet jack: next time gadget, NEXT TIIIIIIIIME!!
that sponsor segue though. LOL love it
Wil you are rapidly becoming an expert on all things power hammer.
Very glad the Beaudry I'd back in action Will! ....in thanking everyone you should include your hairsmith?... uhm...coiffure?... uh...stylist? 😂
Hello from a fellow Montana blacksmith - that's an awesome hammer, great job!
soli deo gloria! big fan of the stuff on your chalkboard brother. keep it up!
Can’t wait for forging!!!!!
I'm a scientist and didn't know how it works, so now we just need one more and your opening is factually accurate
That’s why it had such a heavy duty spring before us to make the treadle heavier
Dang that thing is cool! You should forge an anvil on it!
Will, this is fantastic! I'm a scientist, and I had no idea how it worked. You did a great job explaining it all.
Why would a scientist know how these work?
beautiful
Antique ✅️, loud✅️,tool✅️,fire✅️ are you kidding what's not to love about this content!
Ah, a fellow man with impeccable taste.
What a sponsor seque. Well done sir. I actually sat through the ad out of respect.
A cross on the black board ✝️ ❤️🔥JC ❤️🔥
That is quite a machine.
Bravo on the lead into the ad!!! But for real can we hear more about that hammer?
Will Stelter? … yes he will!! 😂
I didnt understand a thing, but will is my man :D
Good job Will I would love to see you make a Abom size knife
Interesting, I see you and I am paying attention to your explanations like you are my old college professor 😎👍
Well done.....
It would be interesting to go back in time when that hammer was brand new and watch it being made. 👍
Soon, sparks will fly again.
Smooth
I thought the hammer was the sponsorship! Nice one Mr. Will!
That's cool, i thought tapirs were only found in South America.
