    • It has not been an amazing time for unfunny people like Tina Fey for a very good reason. Amy Schumer is a disgusting, lowly, writer's block, uncreative hack (since she sponged off Maid Not For You as she did from her colleagues for years) ...but I'll even say that Amy Schumer deserves some credit for her talents compared to the likes of Tina Fey. So I get why Amy Schumer has initially said that it's been a great time for women like her. I totally get that. Tina Fey needs to pick her hard face up from the podium and head back to the back of the house where she belongs....barely anyway. I bet you didn't know that Fey was about to get fired from Second City since most of her colleagues and customer base couldn't stand her low grade, cheesy, mundane comedy skills. But when she spread her legs to someone who would finally have sex with her ... that guy Dinklage or whatever.... especially since he needed to get laid as well, the rest was mediocre history. And thanks to mundane fans like you, she's a rockstar in our beloved mediocrity.

    • Inaccuracy at its finest. If you're going to bitch someone out, at least get your facts straight in the first place. When you get your facts wrong, it makes you look terribly silly and just makes everyone immediately dismiss anything you have to say.

    • I live in NYC. I have met people in media, particularly from LA. So I guess when a number of people say that Tina Fey is very much disliked and dismissed as a comedic hack, they must all be bullshitting? I call her Josie Grossie for good reason and for the fact that one other woman kept calling her that ... a woman who apparently worked with her on SNL. To me, it's no wonder why she doesn't get much work other than working with the same cheesy, unfunny, hokey, campy writers like herself. She's just super fortunate that Netflix gave her a shot. It doesn't really cost them money to host her dumb series anyway ... that of which has a lot of negative reviews (from 1 star to 2 or 3) being chased by constant 5 stars reviews basically saying the same thing that marketers and investors have typically done in order to boost reviews. If you go on NF, no where is her series deemed a popular series or a NF favorite. Go figure.

    • Jeanie, what do you like, exactly? I've read a handful of comments from you now, all of which were trying to convince people that the thing with which they're having a good time is stupid. And then I click on your name to discover you host a very angry vlog devoted to your hatred of Tina Fey, Kristin Wiig, and why celebrities are to blame for books not selling. Which leads me to believe that you wrote a book, and you blame celebrities and black people for it not selling, apparently. I'm sorry for that, or whatever's going on with you. It just leads me to wonder what type of comedy really floats your boat, if Tina Fey and the rest are so terrible?

      @mrtelevoid6848@mrtelevoid68487 жыл бұрын
    • Firstly, keep in mind that you did ask. Secondly, it doesn't really matter what I like or what you like. If you genuinely like Tina Fey's comedy, I'm not necessarily going to doubt you...though I have a hard time believing that she's liked by most people who know of her...so much so, I wanted to ask others what they really found interesting about her. I was seriously curious. As of now, I don't really care so much. To each their own as they say...even they're marketers for TF. Thirdly, I don't necessarily blame celebs in general for self published books not selling as much as they once did years ago. What I really should have emphasized is that younger folks and maybe folks in general are not reading books all that often anymore. And the ones who do get a lot of reception and income are celebs who write books (including those who aren't really writers ... but write 'essays' these days). Then again, I don't really assume that many of these celebs are getting paid all that much either. Amy Schumer is a rare exception. She did make bank and her marketing ploy worked. You don't know much about my situation and of course I'm not going to fault someone like you for that (as I've sort of done with Rhi something on here ...since she's already gone to my book site and still is scratching her head that houses a very tiny brain while still telling me I need therapy). True, I've read my own rants on here; much of it seems stupid to you ..and low and behold, to me too! But to me, that doesn't diminish what had happened to my situation over a book I wrote years ago. And no I am not blaming TINA FEY of all people...or black people (the f??) for my book not selling ... but I do blame her for having the nerve to navel gaze at my private information for making fun of her on Twitter. I also blame mediocrity for Tina Fey's success. I personally think she's a product of it. Her comedy is weak and campy and simply not funny to me. You say tomato, I say Tina Fey still sucks ass no matter how much money she banks. She hasn't lived much of a life to have that much depth as a comedian or comedic writer. She's a sheltered former mean girl victim trying to be snarky while always being smug. To me, that's not comedy, but I guess it's comedy to people like .. Tina Fey. Furthermore---and this is where I will sound really cray cray to ordinary consumers on here ----if you understood what it's like to market your book on Twitter by making fun of celebs (and politicians for that matter) for a couple of years ... while some of these celebs retaliate against you not just by lifting story lines off your book (i.e. Baskets, the last season of Nurse Jackie, Amy Schumer's movie, book, Nancy Meyer's The Intern, even Shameless...etc) but by i-n-v-a-d-i-n-g your privacy, you might be a little cray cray about this situation yourself. To their credit, I'm doing what they want me to do: squirm and rant. This is how these celebs get vindication on some level....because believe me, my tweets were pretty gnarly at times. Reading any of this is not going to help you get the full extent of what has all happened to someone such as myself. But Tina Fey is involved in this privacy breach as I believe. A lot of celebs and politicians are... simply because I had the nerve to have a Twitter page that makes fun of them ...and yes, celebs like Tina Fey and Jon Hamm. A couple of years ago, this was all in good fun and satire in order to market my book. It started out as satire and lampooning ... but when I found out that I had hundreds of background checks (found this out on a state registry) in the last two years, and by the time I met some folks in NYC who knew about my book, I am fully aware what happened as a result of using a Twitter page as a marketing ploy. Both Tina Fey and Jon Hamm have scoped out a lot about who I am and even where I've lived for a few years now. The biggest group of people who did so are people from SM ... but that's another 'essay'. If it will make you or anyone else feel better, please ..by all means.... go ahead and say something snarky pants about this long winded post, tell me I need to see the coo coo booboo doctor ... and your ding dong will get hard and you will squeal and we can call it day. Chow.

    • I may be a bitter cow but at least Amy and I share the same size .... a 6-8, stg! At least that's what Amy says. The only thing I'd want to achieve from Tina Fey is her money....certainly not her comedy skills or her face shape. And really, what is so funny and 'sexy' about a story about young girls being kidnapped, taken in a bunker, raped, and stolen for x number of years by a crazie pos like that guy from Ohio? Oh okay, it's kind of sexy and cool, because "Don Draper" is the twisted, bad guy on the show. Tina Fey is simply dumb and pathetic. From what it seems, she constantly thinks like an unattractive woman who didn't have sex until her early thirties when she met that guy from NBC, Dinklage's doppelgänger...who basically handed her the job on SNL....which is why her corny, campy writing consists of shit like The Unwatchable Kimmy Schmidt...it's almost like fantasy she's acting out. And that is twisted.

    • Not trying to argue with you or anyone else, but as a consumer, it really rubs me the wrong way when someone like Tina Fey bitches about how her "ilk" isn't appreciated in the biz...as if she herself represents most QUALITY female comedians and writers. She's like the Nancy Meyers of "comedians." Now comedians like Kathy Griffin, Wanda Sykes, Jane Lynch, Roseanne Barr, actors like JLD... or writers like NORA EPHRON ... or even the biggest plagiarist, hack comedian (see my name) are worthy of bitching about women in comedy/comedies being considered second rate. TF was never meant to be a rock star. She was simply a product of ass kissing and nepotism. TF has never been effective in ANY thing. Not even w/ lame Palin jokes.

      @amyhackmer1751@amyhackmer17517 жыл бұрын
    • Amy Hackmer You are a liar. Your statement, "Not trying to argue with you or anyone else" can be charitably described as crude trolling, considering the malicious, stupid and ignorant dreck you followed it with. More pathetically, you are truly ignorant of why Tina Fey is appreciated and lauded by fans such as myself and is just mad that she makes fun of a Republicans in general and Palin in particular! Thankfully, As you are not trying to start an argument with me or anyone else, I don't have to tell you to Shut the Fuck Up! Also Fuck Putin! Just thought I'd say that ;)

    • You're probably right ....but unfortunately, Jon Hamm thought he'd sport his overrated peen in order to get attention and pump up his 'alpha male' image in order to generate more fame and fans and $$$. He's done this a lot even before Mad Men.....so by now a lot of people roll their eyes at this guy without offering him roles. He's desperate these days so he's trying the comedy route which is just not panning out for him. jon hamm is not funny .com explains it pretty well.

    • Playing James Bond is not an acting prize the character is quite limiting and actors play them so they can raise there profile. John Hamm would not play James Bond, but I would like to see him and Tina fey play a parody of James Bond.

  • Who knew JOn Hamm was so funny? Too bad the room wasn't warmed to him. ... Ms. Fay: ALWAYS a hoot. Thanks for sharing!

  • Jon seems like he just wandered in 😂 Honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Tina wrote half of his jokes. (Wow, that Brett Ratner joke hits so different in 2020)

  • She's definitely a lot more than PBS pretty. I've had a crush on this woman ever since I started watching 30 Rock. She's hot! Partly because she's hilarious, but also because she's hot.

  • Tina Fey=intellectual badass. Lea Michele in the background :) But Brett Ratner needs to get fired and black listed. Love Gal Gadot saying she won't do Wonder Woman 2 if he's attached to the process.

  • Nothing better than Jon Hamm to present this tribute, which he did with talent dexterity. Besides being a male figure, endowed with charm and elegance!

  • Okay, yes. So obviously Tina would play Dorothy, Maya would be Blanche, Amy and Dratch could arguably either play Rose and either play Sophia, but I'm thinking Amy for Rose and Dratch for Sophia, just cause Dratch can be a bit more dry than Amy, and Amy can play sweet really well. Kristen would make guest appearances as one of their daughters, probably Dorothys'. And also I'm thinking it'd be really funny if Will Arnett played Stan, even though Tina obviously wasn't married to him it would be a funny gag for him to play an ex husband. In a perfect world I would want Seth to play Miles, but that's just me being selfish of wanting to see Seth and Amy work together again.. AND I have officially spent way too much time thinking about something that will never happen so bye everyone have a great day.
