Munaily olkem, orkende! | Makat | NCOC

On August 19, a concert titled "Munaily olkem, orkende!” (Prosperity to Our Oil Land) dedicated to the 30th anniversary of commencement of offshore operations in the North Caspian Sea was held in Makat.
The event attracted many fans of local pop stars and music on the central square of the district.
The event headliners included Aqylbek Jemeney, Qanay and Qarakesek. The audience enjoyed not only wonderful songs and music, but also watched the sunset with the artists. It was a truly magical moment when music and nature intertwined into a single whole and imprinted in the hearts of the audience.
“The oil industry is the backbone of our country's economy. And it was in the Atyrau Oblast, currently the Makat District, where the history of Kazakhstani oil originated, when the first oil well was discovered more than 120 years ago. Within a century, the oil and gas industry has become the driver of our country’s economy, having a significant impact on the stable development of Kazakhstan,” Production operations director Kuanyshkerey Mukhtarov noted in his welcoming speech.
This concert was a reflection of how music brings people together and creates wonderful memories.
