Banner's reaction to seeing that Hulk footage is the best scene of that movie
I really miss Bill Bixby. Not many actors today had his heart warming smile and warm personality. I'm hoping the Magician comes out soon on DVD. I missed that one. Rest in peace Bill. You surely were a great gentleman and actor.
Completely agree with you.Bill was amazing to say the least.A great shame he's no longer with us.RIP Bill.Truly missed!
.. ya.. he Was Great .. a True Gentleman.. Extremely difficult to find Anywhere .. Especially Today.... think when his son died, it tore him to pieces and then when he got sick... it was reallly hard... he actually died in April 1993. My Grandpa died in May 1993 (that's why I remember sooo welll) Poor sweet dear man.. he endured sooo much pain.. I really miss watching these programs... sigh...sigh....
he actually died on November 21st, 1993... just a mere 10 days after my sweet dear Grandfather's 73rd birthday...they were both wonderful, kind, caring, loving Gentlemen.. that will be missed soo very much... sigh, sigh..
Lou Ferrigno & Kenneth Johnson both spoke very highly of Bill.
MJ Knight he was a legend 🌺
Lou ferrigno was the body builder who played the hulk. real muscles no CGI involved.
Iain Crossland that's right
And he never looked more massive as the Hulk than in this film. It's just a shame he wasn't taller. There's only so much you can do with clever camera angles.
Jamie Sleeman hes 6'4 mate so he isnt exactly small
Yes but he was no where near as strong as the comic book hulk. Hulk could easily break through that force field. He had amazing power and strength. He could lift well over 100 tons. That's why the recent films are more like the real Hulk. I appreciate that TV in 80s couldn't show this but we can now. Also it's Bruce Banner not David Banner, which is also a difference albeit a small one
Guys he never actually saw the Hulk live. He's seen pictures and dreams but never actually face to face. Trial he dreamed the sequence and same in Married. In the lake during the pilot he saw his eyes be white it was the last memory he had before he changed.
Lou put on a hell of a lot of mass between the series and this movie.
+msmithstud because at that time he had gotten back into bodybuilding competitions and was training hardcore. That was his thing back in the day...just his pure size! He was so much taller than the other bodybuilders then and then you add how developed he was!! Check out Pumping Iron...back when he was competing against Arnold back in the mid 70's
jaylew815 i will. Thanks
+jaylew815 Playing mind games on and off the competition stage was the only was Arnold was able to beat Lou.
I remember reading in a Body building magazine that Ferrigno was bigger doing the reunion movies than he was doing the series. According to the Magazine he was 290 pounds of Muscle when he did The Incredible Hulk Returns.
Lou was damn near 400 pounds during his second body buliding carrer . hell of a man.
I miss Bill Bixby, as well. He was great. I liked him in "My Favorite Martian.", too. The Incredible Hulk was a terrific show. Bill Bixby always seemed likable.
They made the Hulk looks very scary and menacing in this movie.
The Hulk here is terrifying, it really is a monster, like some kind of angry demo . Lou was huge by this time, having returned to competition, and was unnaturally freakish. Obviously the TV show Hulk was toned down, not scary, a hero you waited to see, and even had comedy moments. The movie Hulk was scary, and never more so than in this third and final film.
Not to mention he was in his late 30s. Facially speaking he was more mature and combined with the makeup he looked more scary.
@@3912James Only time i thought was silly, in Trial of the Incredible Hulk, Banner had a beard and when the Hulk change occurred it disappeared and reappeared when he calmed down and changed back. But i get WHY they did it, a beard would get all green dye.
Bill Bixy. The Iconic Bruce Banner as Kevin Fiege described him. I have to agree with that statement.
Lou Ferrigno was fantastic as the Hulk, man what a Transformation.
Also in the 2 parter episode of season 2 called Married he sees the hulk in his dream as part of a hypnotism test by his girlfriend
But the the other 2 parter I love and consider the best is The First parts 1 and 2 where he faces off with another hulk
Yeah, he is a beast, he really can't reason with damage, lol, but he is a true hero.
+DJ Nagle Arnold Swartznegger woulda been perfect to play the part of the 2nd hulk. Lou vs Arnold
+DJ Nagle The actor that played the Evil Hulk in "The First" was Dick Durock who would later get his own claim to fame playing Swamp Thing in the movies and the TV series.
The best scenes and the best reaction from Bill and Lou
the hulk looks like the Ultimate Warrior in this one
PourdaH
One of my favourite scenes in the hulk series, can't beat the originals by Bill Bixby and Lou Ferringo
There's a small part of me that wishes that the 70's version of The Hulk showed up on, "The Walking Dead!" Seeing the hulk tear apart zombies while Rick & company fought them off would be a ratings bonanza!
Rick and company would mistake him for a zombie and shoot him resulting in them pissing hulk off and also them pissing themselves.
Theres very few actors like Bill Bixby. He's really good actor. One of my favorite. R.I.P Bill Bixby
This has to be the most intense transformation of the whole series and movies. I cant think of any other time he actually WANTED the transformation to happen.
+Firefighter K. Wann The only other transformation that I can think of that was that intense and emotional.... His change facing "The First" Hulk, when that creature smashed the syringe,he was so close to finally getting a cure Only to see it destroyed right before him, then the rage took over
Also, "747" when he needed the Hulks strength too land the plane, but still stay in control too pilot it.
jaylew815 I forgot about that one, he was crying so bad when it hit the wall, he rubbed his hand over it, and then yes, the rage took over. I also dont think he was ever that close before getting cured. @hulkster46a also that episode, he stayed in control as much as possible. I found to be the coolest part of that transformation, he felt himself going over the edge, and just before he did, he told the kids to "GET OUT" so they wouldnt see it happen to him.
That was sad. He was SO f'n close and when Frye's creature destroyed the last sample, Banner's eyes changed (I think that was a production error, personally) at least 30 seconds before he Hulked out. It was a combination of rage and emotional pain that forced the change. It was interesting how the Hulk was tossed about by Frye's creature in that confrontation. Hulk was confused at first, then, when he got more angry, he fought back. Also, as I was typing this, there was another heart wrenching transformation: When David was home and he transformed next to his own dad. When his dad told the Hulk to run, the pain was etched on Hulk's face. For once, he did not want to leave and the tears on Hulk's face...Same as when David's wife died in his arms. I still cannot watch that one without tearing up.
Hulk's eyes looked so cool!almost like l.e.d. lighting. This hulk is scarier than the newer movie hulks.
One of My Favorite Hulk Outs.
There is no comparison Bill Bixby played David Banner with sadness and loneliness he only found true happiness when he got married to Dr Caroline Fields in series 2. My favorite episode was Homecoming and the reunion between him and his siter played by Diana Muldaur
He never saw the Hulk in color and with a sharpness like that.
Joe Gordon you are so right I love Billy Bixby rest in peace good fella
Even as a kid, I couldn't understand why the scientist and his wife just believed Banner when he said he faked his death because he turns into a monster. Trust, I'm a huge fan of the Incredible Hulk show and movies, but even then I thought to myself, "This couple must be nuts to believe a story like that without proof."
What Burns My Bacon Banner was secretly helping the scientist in his research. When he was caught doing it Banner told him his tale. "I must study this thing. I must see it." So they conducted this experiment to record a Hulk out.
Ronald Pratt & his wife,Amy,showed courage to see David Banner change into The Hulk in front of them and see the wound on him heel after the change back from monster to man.
The movie versions of the Hulk made him look scarier because the producers of the regular TV show toned down the character; afraid he would scare children. Notice how the Hulk's eyes are really white in this episode.
I really liked the series and movies damn how "outdated" they are. Great actors did exceptional jobs. I liked how the series tried to ground the hulk in reality and had a plausible feel. I also love the fact that Bixby portrayed a competent Banner for the most part. And Ferrignos Hulk was amazingly authentic albeit with a few changes. That being said the ending to the "Death" movie should have been rethought. The Hulk simply wouldn't have died like the movie showed
There were rumors that if Bill Bixby had not passed away, he and Lou Ferrigno were going to make another TV movie called "The Rebirth of The Incredible Hulk" which seems like a stretch given the ending to the last movie.
Yes. I personally like to think that hulk/banner didn't perish in that fall. Given that poor ratings and Bixby's health lead to another movie being pulled.
Always liked the idea of Hulk being super strong but not invulnerable. He has enhanced healing factor but he can still be hurt.
anyone know how they did the effects for the force field that's pretty cool esp for that long ago.
I can confirm that the guy who cut the Hulk's hair onset was a blind paraplegic using a knife and fork.
More like the Pratts show The Incredible Hulk to him...
NEVER FORGET THIS GREAT ACTOR. RIP BILL BIXBY.
Hulk had super strong underwear that could resist to all his transformations.
bill was a legend and a loner RIP bill xxx.
"I've never seen it before!" Props to anyone that gets the reference!
Lou really beefed up for this movie. And I thought he looked huge in the series.
The was the best looking Hulk Lou ever portrayed.
The best part of the movie
You can tell Ferrigno was bigger in these movies...
awesome
Why is the hulks hair orange cause before his hair was green before
Lou was massive!
Ask and ye shall receive, Ronald Pratt.
the moment they realized ... we JUST messed up! Lol!
It's also like the movies on tv and five seasons also on DVD video look in walking in stores like FYE and Best Buy stores and if they don't have it maybe they might orders them if there able to
He looked like the green WWF Ultimate Warrior. :-)
+James Johnson I always thought that too, especially with the traps and upper arm/shoulder definition!
gsutton78 Not to mention the wig (which is just as chaotic as the Warrior's real hari) and facial expression.
Woa, that wig was bigger than ever before!
Haha yes !!! .... ^^
Ugh! That was the worst wig ever on The Hulk. I was waiting for it to jump off and start building a dam!
Bobby Daniels DAMN Big ^^
Jesus!! Lou was really the Hulk..my god, he was a more of a freak then than 15 yrs earlier.
feet dont fail me now
I used to watch this as a kid and now 1990 hulk kinda looks like blanka from street fighter
he's seen himself in the mirror
he says he hasn't seen it before , surely this must have made newspaper front pages once in a while !!!
He actually did. In Married when he revealed himself he pulled out a newspaper article and showed what he turned into.
Is it me, or is Lou even more ripped than usual in this scene?
Way bigger bro
So the tranquilizer that was MERELY taped on does not come off during the transformation ?
Maybe it was made out of the same material as Banner's shorts.
@@SpyrosKoronis What was that material made from ?
Melhor parte
Muito massa.
0:56 This is what Bill Cosby says just before he takes viagra.
Esse Filme que é a Morte do Incrível Hulk
é si é o bom é novo incrivéhuk
What's up with the long orange hair?
bill bixby... what a player lol
The Hulk's wig look silly. As they did more TV Movies, his makeup looked worse. Too bad Kenneth Johnson and Universal wasn't part of the reunion movies they made. They would've made the TV movies so much better.
yep but why
It looked better and scarier imo
+ghanasoul The Hulk's Hair was always an issue, even in the original series. They could never quite get it to look right. I believe they used yak hair.
they need to do a remake of the tv series movies are garbage.
ear splitting screaming! - ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
WHat episode was this? I have seen them all and I never saw this.
The Death of The Incredible Hulk. The Last TV movie they did.
same year he died
Plus he did not want to stop work
As mentioned, this was from "The Death of the Incredible Hulk" (1990). It wasn't an episode; it was a movie, the last of three. It was preceded by "The Trial of the Incredible Hulk" and "The Incredible Hulk Returns."
i already knew that it was not episode
hey Bill bixby
Lou was even bigger here than in the TV series!
Ed Straub yea this was the made for TV movie lou had to build up fast
2:20 i just turn it to the knife
Bruce Banner why try hulk on transforms The Incredible Hulk the what Bruce to help Ronald Pratt a Bruce Banner
Olivia
he never seen the hulkout before
The one where a very radioactive metro he gets close by makes him half change. To part dr banner and part the Incredible Hulk and dr banner says it's never happen like this before
How did the movie begin
do you mean his he got the power in the first place?
The movie is called the death of the Incredible Hulk
Xxxx😩😭
hulk reminds me of Blanka from the street fighter game
this movie was ok but what turned me off though was that he says that he never saw the hulk before which is ridiculous hes had frequent nightmares and dream sequences of the hulk and even saw the hulks reflection in the water in a lake before changed back to normal in the pilot episode the continuality was a tad off
Samuel Duclos yeah I thought it was ridiculous too. Also I remember in an episode he was holding a picture of the Hulk
I think David meant was he never seen the hulk in action before
He meant he NEVER SEEN IT ON VIDEO before
He probably saw it in newspaper pictures also.
Perhaps he meant the transformation??
Laiha
Tell me how he did that imma do it
he lift much weight. got big.
Bryan Clark
Is that hulk actually from a real bodybuilder or just another CGI?
+GamingMoose21 I asked a question no need to be a prick about it
No CGI back then.
Lou Frigno was the Hulk, 100% his body
They did, but the Most Advanced CGI Character at that time was the T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgement Day. There was no way they could've pulled it off on a TV movie budget.
The T-1000 was hardly something to sneeze at. I know everyone wants bigger, better, faster, more and I'm sure there are kids out there who look at T-2 and complain how crappy the SFX were, but it's not like it's Manimal (which wasn't bad either for its time).
Do it for me
Amen ps David banner is honest and true and so is the Incredible Hulk. He only does scare tactics to teach the bad guys not to be mean he never hurts anyone. That's how I feel about. InChrist always chubby billpage illusionist magician in fun ps the other hulk he before and after the change he wanted to hurt folks that's the guys thinking he's a mad scientist but he gets killed in the end and in this one here Lou frigno Bill bixbie magician the Incredible Hulk gets killed cause he's in a very high up propellers airplane and mean lady had a machine gun so not to get hurt the Incredible Hulk pushes machine gun down on the floor of the airplane and all that gasoline in plane kaboom everyone blew up in the sky but the Incredible Hulk is falling with out a marachute landing on his back and he's sllow changing back to dr David banner and he lands on airpor runway hard cement road puts a big didn't in road and gets killed ps the movie called the death of the Incredible Hulk.
wish it had ended different... And David was cured.....................
+Glendon Stanley The way they ended the entire series with that 3rd film really sucked.
+amanda davis They were going to make a 4th movie in which David is brought back to life and uh....well I forget some of the details but basically they were going to make a 4th movie, but at that point, Bill Bixby (the actor who played Dr. David Banner) had I believe prostate cancer, and in such a form that he was no longer able to get up and do movies or TV shows, thus ending the legacy that was The Incredible Hulk, unfortunately. I would have liked to see the other episodes on the TV shows, because they had some other great ideas, but unfortunately that show got cancelled.
It wasn't the cure, though, that David really wanted. He wanted to live a normal life, free of the Hulk. Granted his death freed him of his curse, David Banner never wanted to see the Hulk as a force for good. He knew what Dr. Marks told him that the Hulk would not kill because David wouldn't kill. Totally opposite from Del Frye who wanted revenge on Brad and those who wronged him. Frye's creature did kill for revenge...that was the monster in the series. How many people did David Banner help because he would Hulkout? Yes, some people were tossed aside. Others, though, even if they would try to fight the Hulk would merely be pushed back, as if to say "Hulk not fight puny man. Hulk feel sorry." (Example "A Child in Need" Guy is trying to punch the Hulk and was simply pushed back until the dad realizes just how horrible he was to his son. Hulk didn't want to hurt the guy.)
Yeah, the idea was to have Hulk and Banner merged as one being. Probably a take on the "Professor Hulk " in the comics at that time.
I wish Mr Mcgee was in this one. Perhaps he already passed away.
I didn't like the last 3 films hulk transformations
Why does the Hulk have orange hair?
COLEY FOLEY SAYS: FUCKIN "INCREDIBLE HULK" MARATHON ON "EL REY" CHANNEL, "INCREDIBLE HULK" MARATHON ON "EL REY" CHANNEL...! HAHAHA!
The Hulk looks so atrocious in that wig!
+DJ Nagle 1st season the Hulk wig were the best. Why they stopped using them were beyond me.
They never did get the bloody wig right.... This one looked like a small bush.
