  • Major takeaways from the interview: 1. Have patience. 2. Always forward to the next chapter because not everything lasts forever. 3. Be curious. 4. If you have passion for something, spend time protecting the craft. 5. If you have an obsession to figure it out, you'll figure it out. 6. Even some of the top people make mistakes. 7. It's about all of us, not just one person 8. The basic fundamentals come first 9. Practice as if it was the real thing 10. Regular people ask regular questions.

College does not teach you real world experience i agree! However, college does educate your in more advanced vocab. You are exposed to a lot more scientific language, and advanced vocabulary in a college setting. People who disagree obviously never went to college. College is not for everyone yall. College is a complete waste of time for some while it will define their financially stability for others.

    • If you think about it... it was society that ultimately caused the death of Kobe Bryant. The fact that people created so much traffic.. he just couldn't take it and used his millions to make life convenient for him and bought a helicopter. Little did he know that buying that helicopter would be THE reason that he, his daughter, and 7 other people would die in the end.

      @lolhahah21@lolhahah214 жыл бұрын
    • And of course if the crash was foreseeable then he would have gone another direction. BUT...he didn't JUST do it to make HIS life easier, he did it in a way that he could also help OTHERS. I respect that a whole lot. People always talk about how selfish they think he was, but he's always been about helping OTHERS be the best THEY can be, to get the most out of life or out of their basketball careers as was possible. So no, kobe wasn't nearly as selfish as people think. When it came to basketball, kobe felt RESPONSIBLE for his team's winning or not. People also think he was about the records & stats, but look how often he left games early with 50+ or 60+ pts because it was a 20 pt deficit starting the 4th quarter. If he was about HIS stats above all else he'd have been demanding to go back in to break some records. But when Phil asked him to dial the offense back (his 40 point scoring streak) because they were "losing the big fella" and they'd be needing him in June, kobe said, OK." The man wanted to WIN more than anything.

  • 36:35 Kobe starts talking about why he invested in helicopters... bro... he literally did that to have more time for family and other events, always working harder to be the best version of himself for the people around him 😔🥺😪

  • Astounding interview. So many insights. From Kobe: Growth mindset. Constant student of the whatever game he’s playing (basketball or business) He was always thinking ahead, far ahead. He studied story structure through the work of Joseph Campbell 15 years before he won the Oscar. No excuses. He doesn’t make them nor does he accept them from others. Figure it out. To Kobe: everything is figureoutable. He learned about business from the greats. He’s not afraid of being a student of the games he plays. Conversations with Oprah, Marc Parker, Tim Cook, Jony Ive…all giants in the world of business. A-Rod had the same mentality when he got to spend time with Cal Ripken Jr. He studied him. He emulated him. He was such an enthusiastic student that he exhausted Cal himself after 10 hours of conversation. There’s many common themes here: Be an (obsessive) student of the game you’re playing. Obstacles are no excuse for giving up. Mistakes are learning opportunities. Ask for help. Be helpful. Live in the moment and master your craft but also keep an eye towards the future AROD and Kobe both knew the wouldn’t play their respective sports forever. These insights are highly applicable to any endeavor one wants to pursue.

  • Great interview with Kobe, the Legendary Visionary. I enjoy hearing Kobe speak, getting his ideas and opinion about what Phil Jackson wrote about him, and how he handle it. Kobe is a incredible speaker. He's amazing and to hear him at this time when he is no longer here is very comforting, very comforting. The interview was extremely informative, things about Kobe and Shaq. Still love to hear him speak, he's a great speaker, very professional. Thank you for sharing The Corp with A-Rod and Big Cat. Thank you, Kobe will always be the #1 guy in everything he does, his business and sport. Thanks for the Kobe Can. RIP Kobe and Gigi, we really miss you. The world is sadder without you, love to see you and hear your voices everyday, but I thank God for the time you were here.
