Do you pine for a way to spruce up your tree modeling skills? Branch out and bark up the right tree on SketchUp’s Live sTREEm!
In observance of Arbor Day in the US, Aaron opens his trunk of tips to make your foliage modeling more fruitful. Join live to ash questions, throw shade, or simply plant yourself in front of the screen and grow your 3D roots.
They say one generation plants a tree, the next enjoys its shade. Geo-locate and turn on Shadows to see exactly where that shade will be.

Any chance you can enable captions/subtitles? I know they aren’t always available for livestreams, but I’m deaf and want to watch at some point! Edit- now captioned- thanks!
Glad to hear that worked! I think it takes a few hours for KZhead a few hours to generate captions, but we try to make sure subtitles are available for all of our content!
Unfortunately some creators just disable them, and viewers can’t see whether KZhead is being slow! Great video, and I’m now seeing if I can use a similar idea to create some conifers too…
TreeD modeling

@@SketchUp looks like its much more powerful. Thanks for your answer!
Has copiado el vídeo y el sistema del KZhead español y maestro Alejandro Soriano 😢
Yes we did! Alejandro shared his process with our team and asked us to pass it along! Aaron gave full credit to Alejandro in the beginning and at the end of the session.
