Я работаю на ТЭЦ в газовой службе, и могу сказать, что самое важное это восстановить внутренние латунные кольца и кольца на клине (или щечки). А так же проверить держит ли задвижка давление. В противном случае дальнейшее восстановление не имеет никакого смысла)
После такого "восстановления" его только на стенку повесить или на полку поставить... )))

While not 100% technically correct a very impressive restoration You should be admired for working under less than desirable conditions good for you.
Странно без притира собрал. Я на ТЭЦ когда работал мы такие выкидывали.
Работаю в предприятии тепло снабжения) сразу встал вопрос .а смысл восстановления? Разве что ради контента)
дизлайк, сальники не набил, потечёт.
Сальник забыл набить, и болты между крышкой и корпусом ставятся гайками вверх, а не наоборот, шток не смазал солидолом, поронит вообще какой-то левый, там ставится как минимум толщиной 4 мм. Не профессионально абсолютно.
Присоединительные поверхности фланцев, куда ставятся прокладки, не красят.
Зеркалом называется эта поверхность.

Да и проточить бы их надо еслиф по хорошему
А тест под давлением?он же потекёт..в утиль короче....покрасить зелёной краской и в утиль

А почему задвижка покрашена не в черный цвет? Все фланцы должны быть без окраски. прокладки слабенькие. После сборки нужно проводить гидравлические испытания.

While it is an amazing gate valve project refurbishing, I wouldn't have any use for such a huge gate valve for anything that I could think of around my home. Thumbs Up!

Bolts and nuts right on the paint, washers are not used. Stained rusty - did not clean the holes. A shame.

Восстановил внешний вид. А плоскости не зашлифованы, соединения затянуты от руки вместо момента. зазоры запорной группы не замерены, опрессовка не выполнена. Только для красоты где-то положить как образец.
Где он моменты то возьмёт? Они же обычно в КД или ТУ указываются=)

Нахрен делают показуху, вплане зачистки металлической щёткой или вдшкой ? Болты болгаркой проще срезать а сам корпус в пескоструй.

К стати из собственного опыта. Болты на крышке практичней гайками наверх ставить, если что срубить можно зубилом
Они ставятся гайками вниз, чтобы гайки не так быстро закисали. Если перевернуть, то через месяц уже можно и не открутить. Только ДА сбивать зубилом.

A nice job, not perfect, but...I have to say that: no grease, no washers, wrong bolts on the package (need square head, not hex), you punch with the hammer a wrench??? (you have to use a SLUGGING WRENCH), using a grinder without protection part, painting the internal parts of the valve...how did you restore the seat???, no sequential tighten on bolts and no using a torque wrench...and no final sealant test with Prussian blue paste. ...and using a vise while disassembling will be very helpful. Edit: I work as mechanical maintainer and I repairing all kind of valves...gate valves, globe valves, needle valves, butterfly valves, spheric valves, retainer valves, safety&relief valves, Air-Operating valves and Motor-Operating valves...you name it.

Wrong tools for the job that's all I got to say the bolts that hold the package clampdown is not the right ones
Hope you were wearing a respirator when cleaning those flanges. Most of the old gaskets used on these were asbestos.
According to new international agreement, using asbestos to made gaskets is banned...and yes, I agree with you, he need to use a filter mask, no matter how.

VALVE IS GOING TO LEAK LIKE A SIEVE. NO PACKING AROUND THE SHAFT AND THE VALVE AND THE VALVE BODY.THOSE TWO NUTS AND BOLTS ARE FOR TIGHTENING THE PACKING.

Набивку он заложил, смотрите внимательнее, а вот притереть не притёр, либо не показал.
Нет там набивки..какой то тампон засунул..
@@asiliyasiliev4073 Это не тампон, это сальник из EPDM, жированая пенька во всём мире является анахронизмом, даже в России, в новой арматуре, встречается всё реже.
А что там притирать? Поверхности все убиты, к тому же он их щёткой чистил=) До второго пришествия придётся тереть=)
@@MrNechtus с чего им быть убитыми? На клине зеркала в норме, я не удивлюсь если они и без притирки держать будут.

Good work. But please do not keep RESTORATION title instead of CLEANING for whatever you clean and paint.
This valve is certainly completely unsuitable for use. Of course it will leak. What the Russian plumbers wrote a lot about below. But thanks for the effort. :-)

why do you paint the machined surfaces and internal parts??? you always do that. it makes it LOOK cheep and half-assed. Let alone it wont function properly if at all. You have to re-machine the flat surfaces where the gaskets go (lap seats) if the valve is ever to function and pass plumbing standards in any country...

Это не ревизия задвижки это порнуха. 1. Что поставили в место сальниковой набивки? 2. В закрытом положении внутри покажи как щеки сели. 3. Хрен она испытание водой выдержит не говорю уже про керосин.
А вы думаете он будет её в какую-то систему встраивать? Набивка норм, современная, а не эта сраная пенька, на работе бы такую выдавали, а то сил уже нет этим старьём пользоваться. Мне кстати больше интересно, как он посадочное место клина почистил (внутри корпуса), туда просто так не залезешь дремелем, а значит герметичности точно не будет=)
OK Bud a few comments...1. Why did you paint the moving surfaces? all that will accomplish is to gum up the works after a short time exposed to water; 2. I cannot believe you are intending this very valuable valve to go back into a fresh water supply system and any procurement officer who was looking to buy valves would certainly reject yours with the painted inside surfaces. Otherwise, beautiful work with an outstanding result!

Да уж, бракодел блин. Щеточкой погладил, побрызгал из банки, все, восстановил, позорище.
First of all... the flange seats and mounting surfaces must never be painted. Any valve that needs upkeep must be machined to attain a true flat surface. Second, the bolts used were not heat tempered. A bolt used in a valve like this one, must be heat tempered twice before installing. And third each bolt must be tightened by manufacturing specifications using a pressure gauge or torque wrench. Any deviation to a bolt's pressure after tightening will result in failure causing air leakage, which will break the seals. Aside from the obvious, the restoration was passable as a hobby. Hopefully this was just something that you decided to do as entertainment and not for practical use. If you are going to use this valve, then rip it all apart and do it over using the manufacturing specs, and clean off the sealed surfaces of any painting you have done to it. The outside paint is fine. But never paint an non-machined seal. You're just asking for disaster.
@BESS Machine EN I'll put it to you this way... my uncle used to work in the oil fields and had to detail valves like that one. And when he did, a torque wrench was used. It is necessary to use. Hand tightening is not enough because if you tighten too tight without a gauge or too loose, the seal will fail. Every time. Torque wrenches are really not that expensive. For industrial use one would cost around a couple hundred dollars. It's a small price to pay to keep from one or all of those bolts or seals from failing with bad results.
@BESS Machine EN If it doesn't have a name then it's either what is known as an OEM valve for testing, or it's a valve that lost its company logo. You can check online about OEM valves and how they get torqued properly. But what I forgot to mention too is that to do a proper valve installation, you need to check for any Micro-cracks or pitted metal. If any part of the insides are pitted even by a micro fraction, it can lead to disaster later down the road. Now some who work with valves will say... don't worry about it. Just weld the pits or cracks and you'll be fine. Don't listen to them. That's how they lose a license. Always get a second opinion. Play it carefully. You want them to work, without issues, so keep to the regulations. That's all I can say. Be safe on the work site.
@BESS Machine EN For that type of valve, since there is no tag or identification on it, it will be hard to tell what Torque pressure to put on it. But that is a pressure valve it might be a good idea to look online to find another one either identical or similar to it, which you can then find out its PSI properties. If I told you what PSI it was, and got it wrong, it can be bad. If I had the ID on it I could tell you. Just find out what it was used for, who used it, and who made it. If you can do that, you will know how much PSI the valve can handle and what Torque to use on the bolts to mount it. Good luck.

Клин об наждачку шоркал? Ты гонишь? Сразу видно человек не шарит в запорной армотуре. Посадочные места на клине и на задвижке притераются, если конечно хочешь востановить в рабочее состояние. А так это клоунская работа, ее только в металлолом, она держать не будет 100 процентов.
