    • no it's people who didn't want it in their feed because it modifies the algorithm on what they put for your homepage and recommended-next ...it also helps the content creator have it shown to others so it's still as helpful as a thumbs up, so it's better than not doing anything for everyone

    • @@MrKillerpumpkin That can be managed without actually clicking on the video, and thus getting even more animal videos recommended. The three dots under the thumbnail let you filter videos or entire channels. Either people don't understand that clicking/watching a video and disliking it because they did not want to watch it in the first place is counterproductive, or it was never the reason for the dislike.
