  • Such a useful guide, had to do origami for school - this is slow, clear and perfect for beginners. The fact that you say which colour up it needs to be is so helpful too.

  • This is probably the best tutorial for an origami tulip I’ve seen yet, ngl it took me a while to realize that I had to blow into the hole to make it inflate like that lol, otherwise, this was a very good tutorial 😊

    • Thank you very much Paulina. If it wasn't for your comment, I would have been stuck on that weird skip in the video. First I turned on the volume to see if he says anything...I listen to music while making origami. Nothing. Then I turn on the captions, and voila 🙃 Blow! Blowing unsuccessful, to thick/hard paper. Safety pin unsuccessful, same reason. Then I just stuck a penicl into the hole, yeah it looks like a crater, but now it's done and ready for the next step...

  • Much easier than I anticipated, think I can remember all the steps by heart already. The rose is much more complicated than this one.

  • So I finally figured out an easier way to blow up the tulip. I used a cocktail straw and gently shimmied it into the hole. The stem kept falling over with the tulip on it. So I put a penny in each insert in the bottom back of the stem.

  • to anyone who is struggling to balance the tulip on the stem, a way to fix this problem is to put sticky-tape over the hole under the tulip and poke a smallish (but just big enough for the stem to fit through) hole with a needle so the fit is tight.
