Nice race! People have no idea how difficult this is. They think that like with running, anyone can run. But most people would capsize within a meter with these kayaks. Me, I have paddled kayaks since childhood, and made a serious effort to learn the K1. I never had the illusion I would get the strength to actually compete, but I wanted to learn the technique. As a result, I now have a pretty decent technique, much better than most kayakers, but not stable or regular enough for the K1. I could paddle them at a leisurely pace, but when trying to put power into it I would lose my balance. Not enough to capsize, but enough to break the rhythm. To get to this level of technique takes hundreds of hours and thousands of kilometers.

Time was 1.44 min, for 500m. We won the national race in 1986 with the same time, ....in K4-500m, ...ok, we were 14 years old.

1:44 is not a bad time in K1. To reach this, you need outstanding stamina, good power, stability, etc. These Nelo K1 cinco race kayaks are unstable, not easy to sit. I am senior, have a Nelo K1 quattro which is similar. Old K1 kayaks were much more stable. So , nice job. Of course it is "easy" for him, since he is a young kayaker, around 75kg, which is a good racing weight, but, believe me, ti reach a reasonable time in any distance, is not easy.

А где тензограмма? По нагрузке, по ЧСС . Или все только темпу?
