Great Video, Anthony. Sorry to say it, but, I like all of you the same (I know that you were saying about the favorite more in jest - LOL), but, that's a real compliment to the Chemistry of Big Apple Hockey. You guys remind me of My Favorite of Comedians in Chemistry (The Marx Brothers). Each of you've got your Piece of what I'd call The Big Apple Hockey Puzzle. I really like the fact that you're all Objective, no matter what your team is. Kevin, of Goal Line Hockey & you are 2 of my favorite Islanders' Fans & I'm glad that we can all be very civil, etc., even though they're technically rivals (Rangers & Islanders). I'm one of those rare people that likes The NY Islanders, unless they're up against My Rangers & Chicago Blackhawks. I do like hearing your opinion in the discussions & like the fact that all of you may disagree, without being disagreeable. I will say, that, as A Dad, many times, I do admire you & the fact that you are able to do this & raise your family. Thanks for putting up this. I'm glad that you enjoyed The Hot Tub (keep up the great sense of humor).
What do you think about, if it is so, The Toronto Maple Leafs trade Mitch Marner, it's to The Chicago Blackhawks for Taylor Raddysh, Lucas Reichel & Connor Murphy (maybe, if it's got to be, throw in Prospects and/or Picks on either or on both sides). Do you think that it would happen or Who Says, No?
I don't see any Logic in trading Mitch Marner until The Trade Deadline, if at all, because, if it is done, now, it vilifies Sheldon Keefe, especially since it'll be admitting that they didn't give him a team that he could win with. Therefore, they should wait to see how the team is going to respond to the new coach. This is what happened with The Vancouver Canucks. Not too many changes were made, except for Bo Horvat, who was likely going to leave anyway in Free Agency. Let me know what you think
The Hurricanes are too talented to get swept and if this series does go six or seven games it wouldn't be a surprise. The Garden Faithful is well known to be a fatalistic bunch and with our history, '94 being an exception, can you blame us? Nothing comes easy for the Rangers, EVER! That creates an interesting question, falling into the category of the fatalistic. If the unthinkable happens and the Rangers don't win the Cup this season, what does this summer hold? Do Drury and Laviolette sit down and undertake an organizational rebuild more to the liking of Laviolette's philosophy, and if they do accomplish the unthinkable and WIN the Cup do they still create changes? On the island what do the Isles do? Obviously, we know that Lou and Saint Patrick will be back but what do they do? He'll never reveal the sentiment but Lou is getting too old for this. What do the Islanders braintrust forsee in the near future as far as the direction for Batonnets de Poisson du Parc Belmont?
