This is the absolutely insane Mercedes-AMG GT R PRO! It’s the most hardcore version of the GT R ever released, featuring a whole load of updates both inside and out!
When it comes to the exterior, you’ll find a load of aero updates from the front to the rear, while on the inside there’s carbon fibre seats and even a roll cage! Under the bonnet, you’ll find the same 4-litre twin-turbo V8 as in the regular GT R. But when that produces 585hp and 700Nm of torque, it's easily more than enough!     • @@RK-tv1zo weak start; aside from the troubled launch, it's pretty fast actually. The gtr can beat the e63s/M5 competition in a rolling race, plus it's track focused, the gt3rs is also underwhelming in straight line speed

  • My grandfather has an AMG GTR like 5 years ago. Had it for 2 years and opened it up once when I was driving it. He is 80 years old and he thinks if you go fast and drive a car hard it breaks. I Dont know how he became like this but it blew his mind when I took him for a ride in my 625whp EVO! I wish that car would of had the fun it deserved. He drove it maybe 5 times.

  • I own a 2016 C63s. It has adaptive engine mounts, same engine, 0-60 in 3.9...seats 5 adults. 2016 had the noisiest exhaust. So, I'll just stick to what I have. Had it 2 years, and love it as much as the first day I bought it.

From 2010-2015 yes they used the same design because the SLS was one of a kind and Mercedes manufactured every part themselves and the tuning didn’t need upgrades. Look at any other mercs the engineering team at merc do a lot of work upgrading other cars not just looks wise.

  • Most reviewers get a few things wrong: EVERY GT has carbon braces under the chassis. The Pro and GTR have 1 additional brace each, respectively. But the main brace is carbon on all cars. EVERY GT (if optioned) has the adjustable suspension and transmission mounts (highly recommended). Front splitter on the Pro is NOT adjustable. It just looks like it is.

  • Nice Review but not sure where you got your info from about CCB. if you spec Carbon Ceramic brakes on the normal GT R you get full CCB - so front and REAR! I should know, I have one. :)

  • Mercedes GTR PRO lapped Nurburgring 7:04 Officially. The just released Mercedes GT Black Series has done it 6:58 (Un Officially by a 3rd party tester) so it'll be even faster and in GT2RS territory with a front engine car! This means it'll be the Fastest front engine rear drive production car to ever touch the Nurburgring Track!! The Mercedes GT3 lapped Nurburgring 6:24.6 with Shmee150 the KZheadr as a passenger 😁 I wish they would release the Mercedes GT3 street legal version to mop Porsche GT3 & GT2RS up 🤣😂❤🏆😎
