Using vbus for chaging is clever, but is it triggering the overcharge protection? I mean does it stop charging after phone reaches %100? I will do it to my xiaomi mi 9 se, found that vbus and ground pins next to each other so it must be an easy install but i have doubts about overcharging the battery. Do you think is it going to be a problem? How is your device doing when it reaches %100?

I have one question:when we plug in our phone with the help of charger then data cable of d+ and d- are short and our phone charging fast and if we do not short this two cable d+and d- then our phone charge slowly so I want to know that from the wireless receiver have d+ and d- so that our phone charge fastly 🤔🤔🤔 my English is not good because I am from India

You could have soldered in vbus of charging input port , like type c or to micro usb, then it will also show charging.
What is that app to monitor the charging state?

Have you tried overnight Charging ? Given its charging speed, it is the most feasible way. Does the Overcharge protection kicks in ?
Charged it overnight with no problems.
Does the coil fit under the original cover or does it need a larger one?
It fits perfectly for me.
Will it be the same process for the OnePlus 7, only I don't know which pin to solder the + wire

There is only a glass back
Wireless charging can only happen through glass and plastic, since it can't charge through a metal back. For example, this mod would be impossible on the OnePlus 5.

Certo, si potrebbe fare, ma ti ricordo che la ricarica è molto lenta, e aprendo il telefono si perde la resistenza all'acqua. Inoltre ordino le varie parti per la modifica su AliExpress, che ci mette un mesetto minimo a far arrivare la roba.
