Till she said shes's a human too, I was feeling frustrated how she was shown as this ideal and perfect woman who goes through life effortlessly balancing everything. It is so much more complex and difficult than that! Especially coming from Tanishq, which always puts out the most beautiful and touching ads. And then the ad turned around- so real. So real. ❤
If "superwoman" is a wrong term "strong independent woman" is also a wrong term, we don't say he is a strong independent man about any man.

And so needed.. women, more often that not, are like ducks- calm on the surface and paddling furiously beneath the surface of the water to keep things in control - multitasking with all that’s in them. Initially i was like dude ,wait where is this going ? The usual women is a born multi tasker,super women,that image of an indian naari with 14 arms doing multiple things at once!! It was upsetting.But the way it ended is just so beautiful.We too get exhausted(both physical and mental).The expectations from a woman is truck load when shes "married off".

Best Ad ever seen
Good one but just highlighting working women does not justify the message. It us my personal view though.Even homemakers are no less but still neglected as we can see here too.I am absolutely proud of all wonderful working ladies as I was one of them some time back but again would like to mention that homemakers have their own challenges and they are no way and no where less .Hope Tanishq takes into account this too 😊🙏
But homemakers have the time for household and childcare duties unlike working women who are expected to do all that on top of their jobs.
Actually, we are living in a strange era where nothing is 100% Indian or 100% western. Both the genders should earn like western, but only 1 gender should handle household like Indian (though exceptions are there).Educated homemakers in my mother's era were much respected and never got questioned for choosing to stay at home as they used their education in teaching their kids & several ways & 1 person's job was enough to support the family as people knew to enjoy simple things in life as expensive multiplexes/ malls didn't exist & the educational institutions were not as corrupt as now. Nowadays homemakers are considered as worthless just for their choice even if they are happy. Doesn't every woman have the right to relax after managing a household? If she wants to earn to sacrifice her some extra time of rest, then that should be her choice.
About time we normalise this side of truth
"Is Superwoman is a compliment or an expectation ? ", I think this line sums it up all and puts the right message across very well. Its time we stop expecting woman to "balance career and family" all alone. Cause, its not fair. Men should be expected to do the same balancing equally as well, so that woman don't have to shoulder an unfair share of the burden of taking care of the house all alone.

At 51 I can see what this ad is doing yet again...In the garb of 'thinking' about women this ad too is..OBVIOUSLY building expectations...by showing what all 'she' does perfectly for 80 percent of it's duration.You are virtue signalling at the very end saying 'oh we are soooo concerned about women'...I am surprised that just by taking a sentimental line you are STILL being able to fool women..who are going oh what a wonderful ad...seriously ???Media has added to this BS for the last 100 years plus..by calling us Superwomen,Perfect mom ,Durga all the way,and slyly raising the benchmark for what a 'perfect woman' can do or how she is falling short if she doesnt..
