Hey guys, I was looking over some of my older photos and videos on the computer and I found these old gems. These clips were from some work I did back in 2017. These clips have been reposted so many times its unbelievable. wish I had a Nickle for each time I've seen it replayed. either way, I hope you enjoy this short video. Kick back for a few minutes and let me know what you think. As always, Thank you in advance for your support.
The cutting torch is commonly referred to as a "gas axe". In Isaac's hands it becomes a "gas scalpel". Simply amazing!
Could not agree more!! Genius
@@michaelminers2612 yea that second cut I dont even think you could cut that thin with a saw i mean yea it decarbs and slags the surface but that was an even unburned out thin cut off. as good or better then some machines, especially when you have someone that dont use the machine as often and gets an ugly cut. and if there is a better worker with a torch I have yet to see them in my feed, and thats a thick chunk of metal got to keep it steady or it will not get an even cut very easy to go too fast
Well said! He’s not only a craftsman, but an artist as well.
Isaac is a fricking surgeon with a torch. no deviation in distance from the piece. no deviation in speed while cutting. I've yet to find anyone better using a torch than him. Mad props to you Sir Isaac.....
100% true!
Could probably do cataract surgery on ya
Well said!
Yes indeed, I love watching his torch work.
He takes his time to get in a position that suits him…doesn’t rush things just to show off
When I was younger about 1981 I worked as a burner in a tank fabrication shop. I learned a lot on using a torch. Extreme torch skills. You are a true craftsman.
I am 61 years old and learned torch cutting when I was a young teenager. I even learn to weld with a torch before I ever used any type of electric welding machine. Not much impresses me these days but your skills with a torch are out-of-this-world. You torch cut like a laser. Simply Amazing!!!
Same with me. I learned welding with gas torch before ARC welding. Did all of the cutting with gas as a metal fabricator building off-shore rigs.
Learned my freshman year of high school, sure wish still had those 15 yr old eyes. Bifocals makes things tough, those cheap reading glasses help but it's not the same.
Like a hot knife through butter! Your torch skills are phenomenal!!!! Your travel speed and distance from tip to work piece are like a machine. After watching you cut like this, I put up my screens so no one sees my cuts!😉 Thank you, ISAAC! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I know what you mean, it takes a lot of skill and practice to do that freehand, especially in some of those akward positions where you cannot get comfortable.
A true artisan/craftsman. Almost makes powersaws and workshop machinery obsolete. Amazing skills.
Heavy metal surgery! You never disappoint! Thanks for this amazing video.
Everything you do looks so incedible easy. I love watching your torch handling. It's amazing.
Astonishing skills with a torch. That first cut, where the entry and exit cuts are straight and exactly in the same plane is amazing. Most people would struggle to get the entry cut straight - but to create an almost perfectly flat surface that long AND that wide is just next level. Amazing. Thanks for the videos. Stay safe out there.
Wow you should have a video on just torch cutting and technique. You make it look easy but I know that's because of skill. Your torch work is always incredible.
I agree a video on just his torch skill and adjustment and settings would be great to know
“That which we persist in doing becomes easier to do not because the nature of the task changes but our ability to preform it increases” Heber J Grant.
Your freehand cuts are truly amazing. I have been watching your videos for a long time. I am still amazed by those cuts.
His freehand cutting is about the best on KZhead.
Yeah ,Yeah! Renoir, Monet, Picasso, Modigliani and all the 'masters. There's no record of 'watching' these great artists; only the finished work. Here, with IC, we get to witness analogous artistic skill and expertise! In 300 years, they'll be studying IC's palette and his metal 'canvas'. TY for today!
STEADY HANDS and torch control is amazing !
another awesome video Issac, back in the mid 80's i worked for CML Northern Blower here in Canada ,we built exhaust/fresh air units up to the capacity 1 million cubic feet of air a minute and for the pedestal base of the unit we used armour plate usually 2- 3" thick and all torch cut, using a guide, i could do a bit of the 2" thick and i sure learned how to be patient, to plan and take my time cutting, couldn't afford to make mistakes, i could never cut freehand like you do, that is an art all in its own, that steel looked smoother than a Sunday roast beef dinner when you were done 👍
That is a Great amount of skill and You Know he is Just so Humble About it. Thank you, sir, for always Showing others Great Methods and skillset.
Your torchmanship always astounds us all
Those back ripper buckets are killer. I worked on one for a company digging a slurry trench for environmental remediation years ago. They will rip some hard ground. Nice looking welds as always Isaac.
You always make the difficult look easy, a true craftsman, great skill!
And because he makes it look so easy you know how difficult it is and how bloody good he is.
I'm so impressed with your torch work and welding. The straight lines cut freehand are quite a feat! Enjoy watching and learning.
it's like watching a CNC machine cut I'm 56 and been welding and cutting since I was 8 i'm not even close to your skill level Love this channel
maybe you should have found another line of work, I see nothing special here and if you havent picked up any skill in all that time, give it up.
@@thebob3712 lets see a video of you cutting free hand with a torch. Classic arm chair quarterback
@@brianguest561 I've been a boilermaker/welder for 40 yeras, I dont have to prove fuck all to a no body, I know what I can do and so do the people who pay me. You wouldn't last a week working with me, bye bye.
I was just talking to a machanic buddy of mine yesterday, telling him how great you are with a cutting torch! Professional inspire to get to your level!
Surgical skills with that torch. Great video
It's amazing how you can stay focused during such a long cut. My mind would wonder off and I'd be constantly reminding myself to stay with the procedure!
Serious talent and YEARS of experience !
Pretty amazing! I thought it was interesting how the slag didn’t want to let go on the second pass with the cutting torch. Gives you a real sense of how much metal Isaac was cutting through.
Over and over I see jobs and think 'bandsaw' or 'grinder' and you do lovely cuts with a torch. That's a skill.
Isaac, I showed this vid to my CNC plasma rig, it wept!!!
Absolute artistry, I've definitely done my share of welding and then some, I've always loved the cutting torch and have an appreciation of the skill you just showed perfect setup and control, well done
I still say there is absolutely no one anywhere as good with a torch than Issac. Precise and smooth 😎
The gentleman is decent at best. If you know you know
Torch Norris at it again
Got that right!!
Cool hand Luke just awesome Issac you got the touch with the Torch. Take care of yourself and family and be Blessed ❤️❤️👍.
Isaac, this Vid is WHY you have 126K Subs. We watched a master in action, and what a sight!
I want to nominate Isaac's Leatherman for best supporting actor! That little thing makes an appearance in almost every video, and just keeps on going. 😉
If it matters, I think it's a Gerber Multiplier, not a Leatherman. I carry one and it's very handy, as well as pretty tough.
@@AlanHardacre Yeah, I suppose I should have said "multi tool" Speaks volumes for Gerber quality. I remember having a Gerber folding knife for EDC back in the '70's
yup Gerber
Isaac what I just witnessed you do cut through I think that's 3in plate and you cut through it like butter I'm not a professional welder but I've done some welding and torching the skill level of which you're doing is amazing I don't know what else to say man amazing you have so much talent God bless you be safe
Isaac aka The Torch GOAT 🐐
There’s a reason they are reposted. Next level skill with a torch. The best I’ve ever seen by far.
This is why I always click the like button on Isaac's videos long before the video started or even before it finishes. I know I will be glued to what I'm about to watch
Sir, you are the Torch 🔥 King & you are your own boss. Much Respect ✊️, added bonus you tinker w/ rides.
Not your first day with the gas axe, GREAT bit of work.
Thank you for sharing Issac. Man that takes skill And practice. I am always impressed by your work😊You torch peeled that heavy steel like It was a Banana.
You’re a genie on the torch man
Years when I use gas to weld and cut I made good gas welds but was NEVER happy with the cuts Today I learned two things , solid postion and practised cutting paths TY 4sharing
Never gets old, does it!
A waster cut, good to make two or more cuts when the opportunity presents itself. The first or more cuts, the waster, to check the pressures, get a feel for the thickness, and preheat the metal for the final cut. Looks good.👍
Hi Isaac, I envy your steady hand with the torch, especially in some of those akward positions and the thickness of the plate. I hope you are teaching your son those skills too.
The man plays that cutting torch like a stratovarius.
Incredible work Isaac. So impressive watching you.
That is pretty impressive for people who know about this kind of work
all kinds of nice torch work and good looking welds ❤😃👍
Well done 👍 not many tradesmen can freehand on heavy plate with that much skill
Isaac, the human bug-o. Steady as a rock
First 👍's up IC WELD thank you for sharing
Awesome work
that hand cut is amazing, cool stuff from the past.
Legendary as always bud!
I honestly did not know that you could go this fast and accurate through Material with a Torch. Awesome!
ASMR from 0:54 to 2:26, very nice cut man, takes a skilled hand to keep the torch that steady for that long, and just the right amount of oxy blowing it through.
Slow and steady the patients of a skilled craftsmen!
All I can say is that is a beautiful beautiful cut!
This is machining with a torch. Ridiculous skills
Isaac, aka “The Surgeon”. 👍🏴
Great job !! 🤗
That 3rd pass looks as even as saw cut. Your new truck is also very nice.
thanks for sharing amazing torch work
Isaac great video. Thanks for sharing with us. Stay safe
Beautiful work as always !!!
You're an artist... with amazing skills... I'm jealous.
This man don't need a track torch, he IS the track torch.
Beautiful work sir no doubt
another neat professional job completed
Man alive, watching the nozzle of the gas torch, it's like it is machine mounted, there is almost zero deviation from the track. Very impressive as always. Not bad at all.
Who needs a mill when you can torch like that?
Metal so thin you can almost see through it. What technique!!!!!!
Wow Isaac! Geez, you NEVER cease to impress and inspire me! Well done champ!
You absolutely have the steady hand, my cuts looks like they got chewed apart by a rat!
Clean the tip and more preheat. you can do it.
Got my attention, Great vid!
Absolutely amazing enough said Cheers from Nova Scotia
Sir if you ever get tired of the field you would be an amazing instructor at a school
My wife says the same.😊😊😊
@@ICWeld she’s a smart lady
Man, you're just so smooth with that torch.
I can't even cut my Texas Roadhouse steak that clean!!! HOUSTON we have a problem!!!!😂😂
Issac did you preheat with a rosebud to 350 °F always a steady hand 👌 with the gas ax...😸🔥💎🎯💪
yes, preheated it but not enough. thus the 3 cut passes. I left room for that before I made the first cut.
That's got to be one of the strangest buckets I've ever seen.... beautiful repair though!
Amazing video, your talent is worth a thousand words. No expansions necessary
Amazing skill level with a torch. Only know of one other Welder that could cut like that, it must be a gift. Thanx for sharing IC. Nice video.😃
I can hardly draw a straight line with a ruler. I am in awe, sir.
Dang Skippy that was freaking amazing you are the man 😮
You should do a video on how you set up and use your torch you are a master with it !
Amazing!
I am not a welder. My question is why did Issac make one large cut and then a much much smaller slice. Thanks. As always Issac 🙌🏼👍🏼
I noticed that my 2nd cut was not square to the plate so I made a 3rd and final cut. The 2nd was good but crooked.
Simply Amazing!
It's Definetly a Master at Work, Incredible Torchwork
Man I wish I had your torch cutting skill.
Wow Isaac is gas doctor I love it 👍🏼💯💯
You are the best of them, man
Thanks for the Great Video!!👍👍
nice work as always .
Love the skills !
If there is anyone harder on a Leatherman than you @icwelds I'd love to know 😂
Cutting torch surgeon...yes, without quotes.
Amazing work bud .thanks for sharing Safe travels
Artist, well done!
