Muay Thai's rule
one fc prefers more striking(more action) in their "muay thai" rule set.this is a more diluted muay thai so less clinch.

Thai rules Muay Thai is a little different than international rules. iirc, traditional Muay Thai is 5 rounds with 2 minute breaks and uses larger gloves in a traditional boxing ring. I think most Thai fighters fight both ways, I'm not sure about non-Thai.

There are these huge leagues out there - and man am I tired of watching everybody fight each other over and over again. There is a lot of young talent that is razor sharp and deserve to get their shot at these fighters. Instead they keep fighting each other 7 times. That makes no sense. If you have 2 fighters this evenly skilled - they can fight 10 times and one will win 4 or 5 times. What difference does it make who wins today? It becomes less about skill difference and who got a better night's sleep
Capt. Obvious here... Difference was that one of those low blows was intentional. That was a punk move on Naito.

Thai fighters usually use their stage name or nickname and follow with gym name, their teacher name, provice, town or sponsor name.

Lol. Its a thai thing. They put their gym's name as the fighters second name. Its like to honor their gyms, coaches, and other gym members who also carry the same name, basically they are like a family. Lets take Buakaw for example, previously was known as Buakaw Por Pramuk. Then he left Por Pramuk gym, made his own gym Banchamek. Now he is Buakaw Banchamek.

As a matter of fact, in the first Lineker/Andrade fight, Lineker took a low kick that broke his cup. A lot of fighters are wearing metal cups these days.

That's how you know fighting isn't "real" per say. All that carnage and mayhem and brutality can all come to a screeching halt with a nut shot or a eye poke. All the illegal stuff is exactly what you wanna do in a real self defense situation.
No, they are stopping because they know the ref will step in, there's plenty of fights where a fighter got hit with a nut shot and kept fighting because the ref didn't see. Matt Hughes even won a fight like that.

Did the referee did not know that this is was not a Boxing, Mu Thai or a Kick. Boxing Match ? Every time that the Thai Figther missed a kick & went to the floor the referee intervened and stoped the action and did not gave a chance to go to the ground where the Japanese Figther has more chance in Judo or BJJ ? In another occasion the Thai Figther missed and spinning elbow and exposed his neck to the Japanese Figther and again stopped the action and did not gave a chance.
