Continuing the adventure seeking legacy of the GLS series comes the newest model the 42 GLS. With dual beach doors, a U-shaped dinette, galley with a raised wet bar, and a spacious bow, the entertainment possibilities are endless. The lower cabin features an aft stateroom and U-shaped dinette that converts into a berth. A full galley and standing head with shower complete this remarkable yacht. The spacious cockpit features a U-shaped bow lounge, U-shaped dinette seating, two swivel bar stools, and an aft-facing bench. For alternative seating options, the aft-facing bench backrest can swivel to face the opposing beach doors. The 42 GLS OB can be powered with triple 350 - 450 hp Mercury Verados. The joystick piloting allows you to navigate with ease at a top speed of 52 mph using the 400 hp engines. Expand your swimming area by lowering both sides of the 42 GLS to convert them into a swim platform. The easy to access controls and safety mechanisms allow for endless family fun. The galley features a fiberglass inlay sink, fridge, bottle storage, and plenty of storage. An optional grill and TV add to the beautifully designed galley. The raised wet bar attached to the galley with accompanying bar stools allow you to effortless entertain. The helm aboard the 42 GLS is impeccably designed with Simrad electronics and joystick piloting. The conductive phone charging pad and optional ice maker below the bolster helm chair can make any captain feel comfortable out at sea. The bow seating features a table that easily converts into a sunpad, Rockford Fosgate speakers, and multiple cupholders. An optional foredeck shade keeps your guests nice and cool. The lower salon features a U-shaped dinette that converts into a spacious berth. The lower galley is compete with a fridge, microwave, and optional TV. The spacious stateroom aboard the 42 GLS features a custom sized berth, personal reading lights, plenty of storage, and an inclined backrest to watch TV comfortably. The 42 GLS head features a sink, toilet, and standing shower. Storage hidden behind the mirror and underneath the sink allow you to tuck away personal items

I love the fact that it's in a different color other than white and blue. Just don't know how comfortable it would be in the summer with that black paint. I do like the outboards. It looks like a lot of companies are starting to put them on some of their smaller models. Absolutely love the color of the seats. You need to do a video of the boat underway and give out some numbers on speed and fuel economy.
Just toured this boat the other day in Ft. Lauderdale - great boat EXCEPT the door to the bow. You have to close it when the boat is moving to secure it - makes it very difficult to go back and forth.

Have you water tested it? Do the beach doors seal well? I have a 2021 38 GLS (w Trip 450R's) (which just has a single starboard side beach door) and when I come down off plane I get a ridiculous amount of water that splashes up in the gap created where the beach door meets the hull. It will spray water all the way forward into the seating area. Hope they came up with a better design for the twin beach doors. How does this boat perform with T-600's? Seems under powered for its size.

6.01 the passing thru flip doors to the bow... frankly, when its open it looks ugly. Else its a wonderful designed boat - except this lil Fauxpas!
