Sharon Shneyer, Baiba,, beautiful footage of this Cam that I'm not that familiar with, though I do get notifications. So many cams, so little time. I only wish this site had a moderated chat, what with the Southwest Florida Eagle Cam, coming to an end, as soon as E23 decides to leave on his life adventure, it will leave many of us upset, as it has helped me cope with the loss of a recent family member. This Nest is a Pittsburgh Area Nest, believe it to be on the Monongahela River(fr. Delaware>' many Banks or Bluffs') above Pittsburgh Proper where the Allegheny & Mon. meet to form Ohio River..USS(7) chick Handle stands for United States Steel , a land mark Industry Corp. Bald Eagles haven't been seen in this part of the State in over 100 yrs. Currently 300 Nesting Pairs state wide--a marked contrast to 1980 when there were only 3 nesting Pairs in the Entire State. This nest is a recent development in the area--close to main bodies of water and streams. Born in Pittsburgh area and happy to give a shout out to my Coal mining area past and new Raptor Recruits to our Wildlife Population. Thanks for Posting.
