James, Nkunku and especially the ghost of Lavia😊 will be like a new signings next season and Jackson with 17 goals in the PL already is pretyy close to the proverbial 20 goals a season striker needed. Ofc another striker is needed if just for insurance reasons if Jackson got injured but super expensive addition dont look sensible, Nkunku might add plenty of goals and attacking threat as well.
Problem is nkunku is so injury prone , Jackson has been messing up multiple times and you cannot depend on him as a top club fighting for titles...they should just bring lukaku back ....and hopefully Jackson can improve with the experience of lukaku and nkunku ...
@@didi2771I think at this point i may support Lukaku coming back to the team. He will definitely add value and experience to the team. But that will be if he really wants to play for the club.

@@user-zs6nq7sq3r Yep, it's 14 for the PL alone .. Still at a much better pace than Havertz who got 32 total in all competitions for 3 years playing for us and that's Nico's debut season in the PL. I am not saying that Nico will be the next Drogba but Didie himself has only 10 goals in the league in his first season for us so ..who knows, Nico might come very good for us and he is definitely better than the most pundits present him to be.
His got 14 prem goals. 17 all comps. I think another striker of different profile..like Osimhen would aid our team if we play European football next year. Will help us compete on multiple fronts.

Don't need a new keeper. Petrovic is doing ok and still have slolina out on loan. Striker is a must

Petrovic is very decent
Petrovic can't pass the ball, he keeps loading the ball out and causing more pressure on us.

We need 2 players to replace Thiago Silva and Sterling if he leaves. Also need a striker, but I think we actually don't need an expensive player like Osimhen or Gyokeres. We should go for a cheaper striker of similar quality to Jackson who can compete with him for the starting spot. Easier said than done of course, Jackson was a lucky find for pretty cheap, you don't get these kinds of strikers who are good on the ball yet relatively cheap very often.
Need Guirassyyyyy his release clause is only $17m !!
We need a better quality striker above Jackson's level. You can't win the league with Jackson type of striker except if he up his games.

What could of been if the whole squad stayed fit all season we will never know. The injuries we have had this season have been unreal I'm sure we would have made champions league at least barring injuries.ktbffh
I've been saying that the whole season. This team just needs time, Poch needs time. Even with Silva leaving, Chelsea do not need any experience or new players coming in which these pundits are clamouring for. We have James, Chilwell, Colwill and Gallagher developing as our core leadership contingent which can drive the team forward and instil our values. There is no need for any new, older player(s) coming into the group, having to adjust to the team themselves and try pulling rank when Reece James is already there. Completely pointless. James is well-respected and his influence is already felt behind the scenes, he just needs to lead on the pitch and stay fit. We just need our injured players fit and a stable squad. No new players are required, not even a new striker. Jackson does everything we need in our build-up play, arguably as well as most top-tier strikers, once he adds more goals to his game he'll be devastating. His close control, link-up play and passing range will only get better with time, a very unique skillset similar to Henry (a left winger till he added goals to his game). With Nkunku coming back and Washington available, we're covered in that department. Even in our defensive midfield, Lavia could come into the base or even Ugochukwu if we require height or more strength. Centre back is covered as well, sadly even if Chalobah leaves, we have Fofana coming back into the fold. The 1 billion outlay wasn't just spent for the first eleven, we have multiple positions covered across the squad.
We need a good finisher and osimhen is good for that.

Chelsea still own Lukaku, Nkunku, Broja. Broja is interesting cause he could be another Solanke. Edit: i know they also own Fofana, i just don't rate him very much
This game in main part was terrible apart from 10 mins at start and 10 mins at end as the 70 mins in middle were just terrible, Reece looks way healthier and fitter now he needs to find his voice and be captain on and off the pitch, as this team lacks leadership and power and JT must be his role model
