I am the honest vocal coach! I have been teaching for 15 years and been singing since I was 16. I teach from my own studio and also teach and mentor via email, and online via Live & Skype. I specialise in teaching children, and teenagers pop and musical theatre but I am trained in all genres of music. I have studied every voice technique there is, including Speech Level Singing, Estill, Bel Canto, Robert Lunte, London College of Music, ABRSM, Ria Keen, Kim Chandler, Stevie Van Lange and many more. I have been around!
In 2008 I wrote the Vocaltutor Guide, 21 set lessons for singing teachers to get started, learning to teach, and produced 3 vocal exercise CD/Downloads.
I am now working on my first online singing programme. The Foundations of Singing that will be available on Udemy.

If she didn't dress like a freak she wouldn't be as famous. Britney was famous because of her dancing mainly.

  • On stamina : in a Superbowl interview she said singers/dancers train the same as athletes...she sings the ENTIRE show while on elliptical. Gaga does not play !

  • For me she has the absolute BEST voice. Her vibrato is EXCELLENT and if you give her a song, she can sing that song in so many different ways. The overall sound of her voice is just perfect and can be lovely, powerful, theatrical, raspy, operetic etc she can pretty much sing every genre out there

    • I've seen her 4 times. The Fame Monster Ball, the Born This Way Ball, Joanne Ball, and with Tony Bennett for the Cheek to Cheek Tour. She is an incredible performer. However, for vocals the C2C tour was everything. Simply stunning.

  • you could see she had star quality before she was famous when she was in that candid camera type show called boiling point. Before embarking on her music career, she also did burlesque type shows, where she was singing while dancing on a regular basis. Plenty of practice for live shows....

  • You have such a good point, Lady Gaga can dance around on stage and she still knows how to use her voice just right under the conditions of being physically active on stage and it's awesome, just goes to show you the range she has and what experience and tranning can do for your vocals. I mean just look at her halftime show performance, she proved her spot in music and moved all around the stage and more and still pulled off an incredible performance singing live and dancing the way she does. She's so brilliant and majorly talented, I love her so much. I watched her My Name Is Lady Gaga documentary on KZhead about her journey from where she started to where she is now and it was absolutely amazing! She's an incredible artist and the success shes had in the music industry is well earned. It's no wonder why she has had the longevity she's had in the business. She deserves it! 💜

  • thank you for this amazing video! really enjoyed watching it! you mentioned the distortion in her voice, i really dont think its a flaw at all. she puts that in as a style element every now and then on total purpose. i consider her as that kind of a great singer who plays along the different shades of her voice. she obviously doesnt go for a "pretty" and "perfect" vocal everytime, she goes very willing into the "interessting" element quite a lot.

  • For "Shallow," I don't know why they switched over to the Oscars performance when the Grammy performance was vocally a million times better. She nailed that entire section in the Grammy performance, even while moving around.
